I guess it depends on what you get there and what is your expectation. In my last trip there, we had a good dinner deal with pasta and cocktail below $ 15 and food was pretty good, but our seating was quite cramp as they tried to squeeze 6 of us at 2 small tables.

I used to come here often for their Tuesday Happy Hour Special, but their quality has deteriorated over time. The customer service is below par, definitely what it used to be. Im not sure if they changed management over time, but I can sure understand why the bar is empty on a Saturday night. I will definitely not be coming back here anytime soon.

My fave thirsty thursday spot. A ktown staple reminiscent of a bygone era but still brewing with fresh faces paying tribute to its lasting legacy. This is the last stop before circle spot on thursdays and home of the ktown regulars. Wouldnt have it any other way. Jameson redbull please!

Came here for AYCE fried chicken, mussels, and drinks. The food was just okay. The fried chicken wasn’t that flavorful, and some of the mussels were very sandy and watery. The service, while being overall prompt, was very rude in the sense that the server basically bit our head off at any request. We felt like she yelled at us in response to anything(and no, it wasn’t just that it was loud). I don’t think our party was that difficult and you don’t have to bark at us any time we ask for water, a refill on a drink or food item, etc. Perhaps she is not fit to work during happy hour… Or in the service industry in general. She yelled at me when all I did was ask for more napkins, and it was right in her pocket anyway, so it wasn’t even that difficult for her. May come back, but there are better happy hours out there with nicer service.

Conveniently located in the heart of k-town, this place is always super lively and brimming with people on weekend nights. I’ve been here a few times with a group and always get soju with or without food. The elevator is very cramped especially if there’s a bunch of people. Soju especially is overpriced even for the city, but the food is reasonable and the décor more than makes up for it. Soju comes in a glass bottle with a hole in the middle for ice and goes for 1 round of 6 people or so. Apple and watermelon are pretty unique. Their soju is super sweet and you can’t really taste the alcohol. The rest of their menu is Korean mixed with some Chinese, American, Mexican, and Italian. Service is pretty typical of the neighborhood. Overall, fun place with cool k-pop, beautiful décor, and great food/drink!

pretty good spot for late night drinking and eats! we got 2 things of the yogurt soju cocktails and they were delicious(albeit on the sweet side). appetizers are all right too — pretty good quantity for what you pay. it’s like a club with a sit down restaurant — dont come here at night if you want a chill conversation: P

Food: B I would describe the food at Third Floor Café to be a sort-of Korean fusion, which makes sense since it is right in K-town. My friend and I each opted for the special: $ 14 for dinner and a drink(martini, wine, or soft drink). I got a lychee martini and the spicy pork with rice. The martini was good, but very sweet. It seemed like more liqueur or syrup and very little liquor. The spicy pork with rice was served on a cast iron dish and it was delicious — I finished every last bite. I would say the quantity wasn’t a huge amount. For some context, I left maybe an hour later and was starting to get hungry again, but I have a big appetite. BUT, I still think the $ 14 deal was awesome. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that while this may be a cheap meal & drink, it’s very limited when it comes to options. You choose from a small selection of dishes on the menu, maybe 5 or 6 different entrees, ranging from my spicy pork over rice to my friend’s choice of a pasta carbonara dish. Service: C+ There was really nothing special here. They did the bare minimum, nothing out of their way to make us feel especially welcome or comfortable. They sat us down with the menus, brought out our food, cleared our plates, and that’s pretty much it. No chit chat or anything, no checking on how our food is. I find that a lot of Asian food service is like that, though, so it’s typical(I’m Asian so I can say that). Ambiance: C The ambiance of this place was kind of strange. It was a restaurant with a bar, but it had more of a lounge/club type of feel. The lighting was dark and tinted red/pink or different colors. I wasn’t really in the mood for this kind of vibe for dinner at 7:30pm, but maybe it’d be different if I were grabbing a bite to eat before hitting the bars/clubs or something.

My friend and I actually wanted to go to another place but found it too crowded and loud which is how we happened upon here. Good place for catching up with conversation and good fried chicken. Also seems like a good place for a date. Lots of couples huddled close together at the bar ;).

Nice atmosphere. Good place to pre game before party. They have small plates that’s good with drinks also have regular portion food. They also provide happy daily happy hour and all you can eat and drink at certain time.

Classy Korean lounge with very cute waitresses, the crowd was pretty much young Asians, they served good cocktails, snacks were alright, but presentation was great. The interior was cool, might drop by again if I am in the area and want to grab a drink at a quiet place.

I used to come here for the dinner deal w/drink. Watermelon martini! yum! Recently I went here for the fat tuesday for unlimited fried chicken and mussels and wine or beer. Love the fried chicken and the mussels although one time the whole bowl of mussels were too sandy. But just dumped it on the garbage bowl and all good. I like the system. You don’t need to keep calling for more. They always come around and ask you if you want more when they see the food is getting low on your table and they take the garbage every time too. You could just sit there and eat as much as you can and enjoy the wine. Though one night, some girl enjoyed her wine too much. She was drunk and threw up allover the sink! GROSS! I immediately notify the manager what was going on in the bathroom and she took care of it right away. I understand it’s unlimited everything but maybe just be careful with customer that went overboard and tell them no more wine/beer after that. I hope that’s what she did. I went there twice for the fat tuesday and I’m over it for now. But in the future, I’ll be back again… The bouncer is always nice!

The yogurt sojus here are a must try. We ordered the strawberry and Melon one and it was so good. The melon one tasted just like the Melona ice cream bar. The meals come with a drink. I ordered the Bulgogi rice with melted mozerella. It’s so good. My friends ordered the stir fried spicy octopus rice and that was great too. It was nice and spicy. We also ordered a seafood pancake. It was very small.

Not a fan. Was there friday after work. Waitress tried to let u pay more for this n that too many times, really annoying. We accepted her recommendation but turned out the food is not good at all. 2 starts for that they accepted to change the food as different one. Not many beer choices. Def not interested to go there again

My friends and I used to come here almost every Thursday as a pre-party spot. The open bar area can get a bit crowded, but you can also choose to wait for a table, which is my preference. I mostly come here for drinks, but surprisingly the fried chicken and kalbi rice cakes are very delicious so if you’re hungry, order this! Because it’s always so crowded, it’s easy to meet new people and run into people you already know. Could be a good or bad thing.

Beware the Fat Tuesday. Like seriously, you should have your group sign consent forms among yourselves before accepting the Fat Tuesday Faustian Bargain of unlimited wine and katsu for $ 25. I don’t know why, but this place is just a one way ticket on the hot mess express, whether it’s because of their daily happy hour specials or on weekends(however, the shots are very small and the vibe is kind of nice I guess). I echo the sentiments of a lot of these other reviews… the people here and the staff need to check themselves before they wreck themselves and not just let any 19 year old walk in on Fat Tuesday and act a fool.

It’s a great happy hour spot. The food won’t blow your mind but it’s still good, and the drinks keep on flowing from 5 – 8 on Tuesday. I loved catching up with my friends here! Tip: get here before 6 because ppl sit and don’t leave till pass happy hour. Red/white/beers :)

So I first heard about this place from my bro Jack, who found out about the Tuesday happy hour AYCE mussel pot, fried chicken wing, and drinks — wine or beer. I tried going here twice, but was shoo away by the security guard on the main floor of the building as they knew nothing about this restaurant or its operating hours apparently. So finally two weeks ago my bro takes me here for my bday celebration. We got here at 7pm. Not a good idea. Happy hour is from 5−8pm. So I suggest you come early to enjoy the full AYCE. We had about half an hour to order all that we wanted. We got three orders of mussels, two orders of fried chicken, one salad, one spicy rice noodle, three glass of wine, one beer. Then in addition(which is not included) we ordered two sodas and one fruit plate. We didn’t know the fruits were not included until after we got it. Same with the soda. The waitresses didn’t seem to have a clue of what’s included in the happy hour AYCE. That was kind of disappointing. The food was so so. Nothing spectacular or amazing. The chicken was dry and overcooked. The mussel were lacking in taste. So overall, it was just okay. We spent about $ 90 in all. Which was pricey considering the AYCE was only $ 25 per person. The bouncer at the main third floor entrance was very friendly and nice and remembered my bro. Only come here for AYCE if you are early, very hungry, and don’t care much about food quality.

This place is a hidden gem. And cleverly named third floor while being on the 3rd floor. Its a combination of Korean food and a really great classy bar atmosphere. I came in with sneakers and did feel a little under dressed. The most important thing to me is service and every person that works here is amazing. We even met the manager and she made us feel very welcome. The wait staff and bartenders all are great people. They don’t just serve a drink they are very personable along with making great drinks. I also had the pleasure to eat here as well. I live in LA and am very familiar with Korean food. Everything had beautiful presentation with great taste. Overall its the people that work here that keep you coming back. And the great food and drinks is just a plus. I highly recommend coming if your in K town!

Super chill unexpected spot! A friend of mine suggested we come here after dinner in K-town. This is a commercial building I believe so upon walking in Im like where are we going?! So I just hit the 3rd floor button and we arrived. As soon I stepped off of the elevator and the doors opened the music was blasting and it was packed. I was shocked because it was a Thursday night. The crowd was mellow and the DJ was good. Drinks were surprisingly good(mojitos). They do have a coat check if you ask. Overall nice experience I would definitely recommend!
