A deli/lunch place near where I used to work. Financial District is actually pretty decent when it comes to food, but this is your run-of-the-mill salad and entrée place. A lot of seating inside. I usually went w/the make your own salad, I think you’re limited with the toppings so just beware, they add up fast.

Way overpriced for bad food.

There’s almost literally a deli on every block in NYC. Creative sandwich combinations are what sets them apart. Trader’s Café has a nice selection of sandwiches you won’t find elsewhere downtown. They also have daily specials that are often quite unique. You can get a combo special with soup for $ 6.95, but I’ve found their soup isn’t up to par with the sandwiches. The counter help actually listens to what you want, and delivers.

Best breakfast sandwich place in the Financial District. Delivers promptly and seldom screws up. We order from here a couple times a week and I have yet to have a bad experience. Ham, egg and cheddar on a croissant… DELICIOUS!!!

BESTTABASCOCHICKEN! It is nothing short of outstanding. Breaded, full of cream sauce with plenty of kick. I could eat this everyday if health wasn’t an issue. Comes with two sides. I usually get the corn and broccoli. It used to be $ 5.95 for an entrée w/2 sides plus free can of soda a couple years back. There is seating for those who wish to get away from the Dilbert lifestyle during lunchtime. Total comes out to ~$ 7 after everything
