This is a Shuttle Bus between Elmhurst Chinatown and Manhattan Chinatown. I love this shuttle bus. A ticket costs $ 2.50. They start from 7AM and end at around 10PM. If you’re along the route and need a lift to either chinatowns then give them a call and they’ll pick you up. I actually don’t know how much English they know though… So when you get on, you shout to the bus driver where you need to be dropped off in Elmhurst. They will drive off to Elmhurst and when the arrive in Elmhurst they have some sort of labyrinth round about twisting path through Elmhurst and they will drop you off where you ask them to… if they can understand english… Be prepared. There aren’t many busses in their fleet. And there is typically a wait for the next bus to come along. The longest I have ever waited was maybe… half an hour. The line starts outside of Hong Kong Supermarket(formerly Dynasty Supermarket). BEWARNED… you may be seated next to a man carrying a dripping bag of smelly fish… or you may be seated next to a crying baby… or if you’re lucky, then just cute baby! or a napping sweet grannie(who at the best case smells like chinese mentholated creams… rather than the nastier possibilities) The seat backs are not very tall and so you won’t have a head rest!
