I used to wax here until I got a bacterial infection because of my last wax. It took six months to get rid of. Don’t do it to yourself.

My first time getting Brazilian waxing here and I’m definitely coming back. Parb was very very sweet and gentle. She is professional and knows what she’s doing.
They were very welcoming.

Worst eyebrow threading ever. My left eye is missing a big chuck. I felt it when she was threading she keeping going on left until my eye teary. Because it hurts. And when I look in mirror. YUP! Messed up. All I ask is to clean up around it. How hard can it be??? Be warned!!!

Worst waxing experience of my life!
1) I wanted sugar cause I said I have sensitive skin I was told my hair is too short. Fine!
2) She didn’t hold my skin when she ripped the strip when doing my thigh and now it’s all bruised and she blamed it on shaving even though that was the only area to bruise because of what she didn’t do!
3) didn’t do a thorough job! It’s like I waxed 10 days ago!

Great place! Very clean. They didn’t rush to thread my eyebrows and they were very respectful. Also not a bad price for eyebrow threading.

In and out in 15 – 20 minutes at 6:30pm on a Wednesday. No appointment needed! $ 23 for a thread and a tint. I have exclusively gone to Benefit until now but at this price, times have changed. Also worth noting that they gave me 10% off for coming in for the first time, and they have a brow card (10^th service free!)
Also, surprisingly, this threading left my skin far less irritated than usual. Awesome all around!

I walked in off the street and they took me immediately. They had honest answers to all of my questions about a henna. These guys rock!

Went in for the first time today. The girl did a nice job on my wax and I liked the salon, nice and private and it’s convenient that you can just walk in. :)

They do good eyebrows and the place is beautifulbut they dnt rub lotion into ur eyebrows and do the lil eyebrow massage! Thats the only part i like

Been going here for 2 years, and completely satisfied. I work with one specialist exclusively — Mona — and she is the nicest, quickest, most professional. I sometimes schedule appts, and sometimes just pop in. Prices are very reasonable, and I’ve never walked away disappointed. Have sent countless friends here, its a NY treasure!

I started coming to Unique Threading just over a year ago when I moved back to NYC. My eyebrows were unfortunately ruined from the limited threading services available in DC. They were thin, uneven, and in need of lots of TLC. Manju has been doing my eyebrows ever since and I could not be happier! I refuse to let anyone touch my eyebrows! She was super sweet and reassured me that with time we’d reshape my eyebrows to be thick and beautiful again. She made sure to show me areas that she thought would be best to leave untouched so it would grow back properly and always made sure I was okay with her plan. Fast forward a year and I get so many compliments on my eyebrows. I feel blessed to have stumbled across this place. I really consider Manju a friend now! Do yourself a favor and wait for her– she’s the best! You won’t regret it.

I’ve been coming to this location for a little over a year; I used to go to the midtown location one but once Manju did my eyebrows, I had to keep coming back. She’s fast and does an amazing job with my eyebrows. Not to mention the service is top notch! Eyebrows are $ 8 which is pretty good considering its location and how nice the interior is. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been coming to Unique Threading for at least two years, and I always have a lovely experience with threading (fast, cheap, and A+ job) and Brazilianwaxing (good price, high quality, and lots of wax options [I’m a fan of sugaring]).
Trupti is the very best for waxing in particular. She’s quick, thorough, and gentle. I see her about once a month for wax and eyebrows, and usually call ahead to make an appointment. Even if I swing by unannounced, she always makes time to see me.
I can’t recommend this place, Trupti, and the rest of the women of Unique Threading enough. Ladies of New York, this is a gem you can’t miss.

I normally don’t let just anyone touch my brows. I have a go-​to person at this spot in midtown, but since I switched jobs, that place is no longer convenient for me. But my brows were in desperate need of a shaping and since I was the area, I decided to give this place a try — especially since a friend had once recommended it to me.
Manju was the one who did my brows and she did a pretty okay job. I told her I just wanted to clean it up and reshape it and that’s exactly what she did.
I think I’m still going to go out of the way to go to my old place but if you’re in a bind, Unique Threading Salon isn’t bad. Plus, you can get 20% off with a student ID, or 10% off if you check in on Unilocal

One day I had a beauty emergency because a threading salon in Hell’s Kitchen had ruined my eyebrows. One of my acquaintances advised on going here and visiting her brow stylist. Fast forward a year or so later, Unique Threading Salon moved but only around the corner. Which was a fine move given that was still in the Madison Square Park area just upon the block from Eataly.
I absolutely love the new location and their staff. The building is much cleaner and the venue looks like a small loft. The environment being far more warm and polished. Just recently, I noticed they were serving spa vibes with their mini foundation, gentle music and private rooms. In another section of the venue, they have chairs set-​up like a salon with chairs and magazines up against the floor-​ceiling windows. When you check-​in, there’s a gentleman at the desk so asks what I would like for that particular day. I always want my usual eyebrow threading, so I’m typically told to sit in the chair and wait. A few moments later, a woman will come by and ask what I would like. Some people mind find being asked a question twice irritating but giving the slight language barrier that can sometimes happen, the repeated question is welcomed. This particular service is very quick and the women I’ve had so far are very precise. Unfortunately, the woman who I originally saw went home to India and although I was afraid, no, frightened to have anyone else touch my brows every member is very attentive, listens well and is good at their craft.
Will come back next time I have an eyebrow situation!
