I’ve only ever had UNO one other time — because generic American chain restaurant just isn’t very appealing. I only came here because I had a coupon($ 10 off $ 20), so great marketing! I was very pleasantly surprised though, the food was actually really good!(the pizza). I split their Chips and Guac and Flatbread Pizza between two and it was enough food. The Chips and Guac were very mediocre, but not terrible. The pizza though. I was looking for a pizza that had a lot of vegetables, a little meat and somewhat healthy. Was able to order the Eggplant, Spinach and Feta flatbread pizza and added sausage for $ 1.29. This pizza was probably just about ~1100 calories and it taste bomb! I will definitely be coming back here on those nights I crave pizza, but don’t want to be a complete savage to my body.

Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are hard to beat in Manhattan and the ambience is great. It’s a good place to grab food and drinks with friends and a sit-down for families as well. Yummmmmmmm! We ordered the roasted eggplant, spinach, and feta five-grain half flatbread, strawberry walnut salad, deep dish mac and cheese, and hot chocolate brownie sundae. The flatbread was perfectly crisp and the eggplant melted in my mouth. The spinach, tomatoes, and sundried tomatoes complimented the flatbread extremely well. The cheese was stringy and browned just enough. Also, I’m glad I chose to substitute the traditional flatbread with the five-grain. It tastes like multigrain bread, except better. The salad and mac and cheese were part of the pick two for $ 12 menu. What a deal! The walnuts were toasted and the strawberries were juicy. The salad was so refreshing and lovely. The mac and cheese had a toasted breadcrumb topping and it was nice and gooey inside. For dessert, the hot chocolate brownie sundae was a decadent ending. The brownie was warm and the ice cream tasted freshly made. Overall, it was a wonderful first experience.

I’ve been coming here for years as a neighborhood staple. The service has always been lacking… but today takes the cake! I’m sitting at a bar table… still waiting for my mini treat brownie sundae and my sister a bowl of soup. It’s an hour now… since I’m still waiting… to be given a soup and a treat. We waited 20 minutes for the sangria… and 30 minutes from that point to get our waters. The only reason we ever got them was because my sister went to the bar to harass the bartender. The place isn’t super busy, but even if it was, there should be some standard of service. My treat finally came and the icecream was near melted and my sister’s soup had a film on it from siting on the line for so long. I’ll going to rethink my patronage from now. I’m shopping for a new spot

Horrible long waiting. There were few customers but they kept us waiting for nearly an hour. Unbelievable.

Best restaurant in nyc. Nowhere else will you get so much food, so much space and such great service for such a cheap price. I am completely and wholly satisfied ever time I go there this is such a great restaurant.

I went to Uno’s last night after not being there for years. I have to say it was a great experience. This location has an upstairs which was being used for Paintnite. Downstairs was pretty busy for a Thursday. The waitress was attentive and patient with ordering. Everyone got the steak except me. I decided to go with the black and blue burger. Everyone was pleased. It was nice to see they have healthier options like Farro and goat cheese salad with walnuts and blueberries. We took our time to eat and chat and didn’t feel rushed at all. We all wanted dessert but after our meals it was impossible to eat anything else. I would definitely try this location again.

Unfortunately went here with the expectation of receiving better service than I did the last but it was fairly the same, lol even being half a year apart. Service was SLOW. I had to ask my waiter for water and so did two other tables in which we all agreed was a little ridiculous hence the place was empty. It was understaffed and we waited about more than half an hour for our food, we didn’t even order appetizers but had no choice because we were starvedddddd. Unfortunately it came out with out entrées. Not only was that a blow but our orders were completely wrong. It seemed the staff thought we wouldn’t mind but we did and had that order fixed and took it to go because it was just bad and annoying. Bad first impression for my partner and he was very excited to come here.

The good points: great deals and a convenient location. Service is never great and seldom average. I walked in for dinner. The host station was vacant. The party of two before me never broke stride and sat themselves. I was not going to stand for it either and followed suit. Unfortunately, I chose the half of the massive space with the televisions turned off, either by neglect or cost cutting. So I could not watch the game, the news or anything. More of that signature hospitality. The waiter came and asked me for my order. I asked for the menu. When I was ready, I asked about the $ 5 Tuesday deep dish pizza. He checked with a manager, who screamed that it started at 9PM. Calm down, lady. This important detail was all too easy to miss on the bottom of the low hanging sign in the window when I rechecked later. I had a $ 10DDP and craft beer coupon; all was well. I ordered a Create Your Own artichoke, hamburger and pepperoni and ate a quarter before realizing that it lacked pepperoni. The waiter insisted that it was under the cheese. I informed him that he was mistaken. He finally took it back and later said that they would make me a new one. It must have been a long kitchen negotiation. I would have had their fine $ 3 salad appetizer. But this veteran waiter was not versed in providing useful information, so I skipped it. Ithaca Super Stout was not very flavorful, despite the supposed presence of coffee and chocolate notes. Deep dish is a caloric nightmare, so I simply left the crust, making a white ring around the pan to save about four hundred calories. I wondered why so many children were present. I later learned that it was Kids Eat Free Tuesday. Solo diners craving peace and relaxation should dine elsewhere. They all surrounded the roaming balloon lady, herself decked out in a two foot tall balloon hat. It was a circus. Lastly, I wanted to pay on their new Ziosk pad units. I grabbed a pad from the adjacent table. The waiter finally gave a useful tidbit. Pads are table specific. My table was not among the technology blessed. Despite the $ 10 deal, I was somehow still taxed on the supposed $ 20 full value. I skipped this argument and paid the old fashioned way, thrilled to simply escape.

I have many fond memories of the original Uno(and Due) when I attended grad school in Chicago, so I decided to give One on E 86th a try. In sum: mediochre. Since I was alone, I was seated quickly. Not so for other patrons. I had to wait 15 min. just to give my drink order. I ordered a Stella Artois, which they have on tap. I was brought a bottle! The food service was slow. It was apparent that the restaurant was understaffed. I ordered pepperoni pizza(for one). I got ONESLICEOFPEPPERONI on my pizza! Even as a chain restaurant, they could do better than this. Sad.

Lied about coupons we would use by the manager and the staff to avoid giving us a discount! Never mind… that’s the only reason we were ordering. Manager was mad at me because he and his and employees are giving out incorrect info! don’t be so nasty! i need my food made with love! canceled that order ASAP! if i want frozen Pizza i’ll get some Amy’s and call it a day!

Uno’s improved today. I stopped coming after I had four bad experiences in the past year. Today we had Tiffany as our server. She knows what we like. Everyone else working there was new to me. The flat bread multi grain pepperoni pizza got rave review. Big enough to take half home. I had turkey avocado sandwich with bacon on sour dough bread. The turkey must be frozen not fresh. Not the best but still tasted ok. I was hungry and the price was right! No room for desert today. The prices are very good for everything. The food is great if you like Chicago Pizza! Other dishes are so so. I basically come because my family loves Uno’s! My family is always happy here. Kids eat free on Tuesday! You can’t beat that. They have game nights. Great bar and lots of space upstairs for parties. If you live in the neighborhood it’s s nice place to hang out after work or on weekends. They are high tech now. See my pictures. You can play games at your table. Order desert by touch screen, or more drinks too. You can also use your credit card to pay your bill. You can check your current drink tab at any time! Uno’s is keeping up with the times!

For the record, I did not choose to come here. I never choose to come here. Every time I’ve been here it was because I was with one person who loves it here… and she only ever orders one thing. I personally don’t even think that one thing she orders is that good or worth coming back for, but who am I to tell her what she likes sucks? When bad food is overpriced… this is it. That should be all there is to say, but I want to say more. Even on unpacked days, the service is incredibly slow. This is a chain. Chains should have a system, right? I can’t speak for any other locations throughout the country, but I can tell you this place has never given me a decent experience. It’s even more upsetting when the check comes and I realize how much I’m paying for bad food, basic-ass chain restaurant ambiance, and slow and PARTIAL service. I say«partial» because you order your own drinks and appetizers on the touchscreen pad that occupies your already cramped table. You pay your tab on that thing too. Also for the record, I don’t hate chains. I don’t dislike chains. In fact, there are some chains that I love! So I’m not a chain-hater for writing this. I just REALLY dislike this chain restaurant at this location.

I admire Uno’s for it’s consistently good pizza. I started eating their pizza when in college living in Charlotte NC and I said, I need to move to Chicago and eat this pizza all the time. I subsequently moved to Chicago and ate this style of pizza all the time for about 5 years. In that time also while visiting friends and family in DC I would always dine and do happy hour at an Uno’s in the city. I said all that to say that after finally checking out a Uno’s here in NYC, I’m pleased that it is the same consistently good experience. The pizza is always great. There’s fresh ingredients and everything about the food is delicious. I ordered the Prima Pepperoni pizza and a side caesar salad which was only $ 2,99 for a nice sized portion. Also many of the specials and great price points that I grew to love at the DC location are here as well. Honestly if I lived closer, I’d stop in here frequently for happy hour and/or lunch specials etc. The beer selection has some goodies on tap including Goose Island brews straight from Chicago. The waitress that I had this night seemed as though she was new and forgetful, but she was nice enough. The place has a nice feeling and the staff seemed to be pretty welcoming all around. I have no real complaints about this place. I wish there was an Uno’s in lower Manhattan or Brooklyn nearer to me.

This is my third time going to this particular Uno’s location in the last 5 months. However, this has been the first time, in all my years of dining in restaurants, that the manager introduced herself to my friend and I and sat us down. Color me shocked! Color me surprised! Color me stunned! Okay, with all that fanfare died down, we’re were introduced to another shattering moment: the mini kiosk attached to the edge of the table where you can order alcoholic beverages, desserts, play games, and pay the check. It’s super cute and after my friend paid, his receipt printed from the bottom of the machine. Awe. Some. Anyway, to get back on track, our waitress Tameka was the best. She was funny, friendly and very efficient. She simplified my friend’s order into a deep dish Barbecue Chicken pizza and I had an already simple Pepperoni deep dish. I loved my pizza with its juicy Roma tomatoes and spicy pepperoni. My friend let me try his and it was tangy with a lot more going on with it with the chicken and the onions. We shared that large chocolate chip cookie with the chocolate sauce, ice cream, and whipped cream. I always forget the name of it but it is so DELICIOUS! It’s gooey and warm and sweet and just plain good. We came after 8p on a Tuesday so there was no big crowd dining in but pretty crowded in the bar area.

I recently visited Chicago and have been missing the pizza since. I had to try this spot out when I got back to New York. I ordered a personal pan(individual) deep dish pizza. They come with three toppings for $ 12+tax, circumference a bit smaller than Pizza hut, but depth of course makes up for it. In Chicago they take about 45−60min to bake a pie. Here for the personal pan, it took about 15min. Staff was charming. The pizza definitely resembled Chicago’s pizza, mind you this is their chain, and was worth it. Kids eat free on Tuesday. I will visit again once the craving occurs :)

We tried their 2 for $ 12 option, where you get to pick 2 entrees(smaller sizes) from the provided list. We got one for the each of us, so four dishes total. We chose the Deep Mac & Cheese, Wowza Steak Tips, Shrimp Alfredo, and the Chicago Classic Deep Dish(personal pizza size). I think the two choices that stood out were the steak tips and the deep dish. The steak tips were really good, as was the mashed potatoes with gravy that it came with. I thought the steak tips would come out rough and overcooked, but it was cooked so it was tender and juicy, perfect to go along with the potatoes and gravy. The deep dish pizza was disappointing, especially since I come from Chicago and have tried numerous deep dish places there. This was actually my first time having Unos pizza and considering that they are supposedly invented the deep dish pizza(by Ike Sewell in the 1940s; ), I expected better. It’s possible that it wasn’t as good because of its smaller size, I won’t judge it too much without trying their regular size deep dish pizza.

I don’t like to write bad reviews but this time I have to. Was at this place yesterday night and had crab & shrimp dip… And after 24 hours I’m Still in bed throwing up all day long. I don’t have any kind of allergy and even when it happens to feel kind of sick after a dinner it never happened that bad to me in my whole life. I lost a day at work so the dinner was kinda very expensive to me. And probably I won’t be able to go to work tomorrow either because I didint get up from my bed yet except if I had to go to throw up… Never been in that place before and never will go again. Crew was kinda friendly and the girl at the table was very sweet but i seriousely thought i Was dying last night!

I love Uno’s Cheese and Tomato pizza however I can’t say the same thing for the rest of the menu. I chose to have lunch here yesterday and if it wasn’t for my waitress I didn’t enjoy my experience here. Instead of getting my regular pizza, I ordered the 2 for $ 12 special and a $ 5 classic margarita. I found my margarita to be very salty and almost impossible to enjoy it but I was able to finish it. I just know next time not to order it. I ordered the chicken scampi and the Chicago deep dish pizza. The food was pretty good but not the best but I guess that’s the price I pay for trying something different! Next time I will stick to what I know. Zena is the absolute best, very attentive, patient and sweet. I have no complaints about her! :)
