Vezzo has some of the best pizza I’ve had in NYC. Their salads are also great and for $ 10 – 12 you get more than enough to share and their dressing is unlike any I’ve had! The majority of the time I’ve been to Vezzo I’ve had to wait to be seated but the hostess are very accommodating and the wait is never more than 10 mins.

As a fan of deep dish pizza, I surprisingly enjoyed the thin crust pizzas here. Walking in at 6:45PM on a Friday night, we were luckily seated right away by a friendly host. The interior is a bit cramped and the host had to pull out the table to squeeze into the booth seat without knocking over neighbors’ drinks. We ordered a Tre-Colori salad($ 10), and a large half Pesce($ 14), half Shroomtown($ 13) pizza(together = $ 27). Which is a better deal that ordering two personal sizes, as it’s more bang for your buck. The salad was perfect, a little heavy on the sauce, but gorgonzola cheese definitely hits the spot mmmmm :) The best part was no doubt the argula on the Pesce pizza. In addition to the smoky salmon, the argula adds another fresh, light flavor to your palette. As if the your taste buds weren’t in heaven already. Would love to come back to try their other pizzas. Good place to bring out-of-town friends for thin crust pizza if you don’t want to take them to 99-cent slice joints. Also– reheated leftover slices the next day STILL taste amazing!

Great food and atmosphere! Been here a couple of times and the food is amazing and very well priced. I wouldn’t suggest takeout thin crust though because it got cold quite quickly.

No wait when we went in on Friday night at 6:45PM, which was pretty cool. The interior had a lot of wood and was a bit dark, but had a nice atmosphere. If you order the large pizza, you can get half one flavor and half another; they charge you the same price as two personal-sized pizzas, but you get more pizza overall(thanks to the host for the tip). My friend and I tried the mushroom and salmon pizzas; we both liked the salmon one better. My favorite part of the pizzas was the crust! The crust had such a nice crisp to it, probably one of the best thin crust pizzas I’ve ever had. My friend and I also shared the tre-colori salad; the gorgonzola salad sauce was quite potent, but I still enjoyed the salad overall. Prices were moderate; our bill came out to around $ 40 after tip, so about $ 20 per person. We had four slices of pizza leftover though, which we enjoyed the next morning(couldn’t get the crust to be that heavenly crispiness upon reheating though, sadly). Service was decent. Our waiter was friendly; he didn’t check on us that often but I guess it was a busy night. No major complaints.

I love Vezzo. I think their pizza is delicious when you want a sit down restaurant to bring friends. I like to bring out of town people who are looking for a casual place to grab a pizza and sit for awhile. I also love their cheesy garlic bread. I know it’s not the healthiest option, but it is always a crowd pleaser. I am a big pizza eater and the thin cracker crust here is one of my favorite options in the city. My two favorites are the meatball pizza and the mushroom pizza. Yum!

Thin crust pizza is usually something I have to be in a mood for. As a fat guy, my gripe is that they usually aren’t too filling, and some tend to be like eating crackers with sauce and cheese. Vezzo definitely ranks up there among some of the most enjoyable thin crust slices I’ve had in a while Stopped in on a crowded Saturday night, but were seated relatively quickly. The service was actually pretty quick despite the numbers present and the waitress was definitely on top of things. The personal pie is definitely on the small side, but it’s probably good for most, especially if you don’t want to get too full before a night out. I went with the meat lovers pizza(pepperoni, hot, and sweet Italian sausage) and substituted the regular marinara for spicy marinara(had a real nice kick to it). My wife customized her own vegetarian option and was quite pleased with it as well Overall the pie is absolutely enjoyable, but if you’re looking for a more filling meal you may want to opt with a full pie(I could definitively polish one off by myself… not that I should, but I could). Worth checking out for sure

After writing a glowing review I was reminded of how good the pizza experience was that I phoned them for delivery. Here’s where it goes downhill In my book, when you advertise delivery til 10p and a customer calls at 940p — you shouldn’t say«pickup only. we decided to stop delivery early today — but you can order tomorrow and we’ll deliver« Funny enough I did end up ordering the next day, and the meat lover pizza was burnt! Shroomtown was still great which gives this experience 2.5 stars this go around and will have me looking at other places next time for pizza

Came here by myself for an early dinner. I was seated right away. I ordered the crostini with goat cheese, crispy prosciutto chips and caramelized onions with balsamic. It was super tasty but actually had a bit too much of the toppings on it. It was messy and difficult to eat and I couldn’t taste the goat cheese because of all of the onions and prosciutto. There is no such thing as too much of either of those things but for the little pieces of bread given, that was the case here. The pizza was incredibly delicious! The thin crust was perfectly crispy and the cheese browned. The pepperoni and caramelized onions I customized with tasted fresh and were exactly what I wanted! Bonus points for very full pours of wine ;) Will be dragging the thick crust loving boyfriend back here very soon to convert him!

Pizza is good, but every once in a while the customer service is so annoying! I have been ordering from here for a while and one good thing about this place is that they save your old order, so ordering in on the phone is quick. But there is a rude girl who works here(don’t wanna take any names here, but if the manager ever reads this, please feel free to reach out to me and I’m happy to let you know) who today(and twice before) insisted that they don’t have that feature. On mentioning that I have been ordering for years like that, she insisted that she had been working there for years and knows what she’s talking about. How dumb is this? Am I making things up? For years did I have a pizza fairy who knew exactly what I wanted and just delivers it at my doorstep? I asked her to give the phone to another person who knows how to look up the order history, she hung up. When I called again she put me on hold for a while without talking and then she insisted I go back online and try to remember what I ordered last time. Please train the stubborn one!

By far the best thin crust pizza I’ve had. This place is true to its reputation. A family atmosphere diner next to the Children’s Museum. The crust is like a wafer. The toppings are well proportioned considering the crust is so thin. Well priced so you don’t break the bank. The staff is friendly and helpful but they are busy. The place is small enough so you don’t get forgotten.

I do t give 5-stars normally, so this is an exception and with it being out of town for me even more rare. The waiter bumped my beer placing the appetizer on the table, not much was spilled really although it did get on my hand a little, and the dude just bought me a full replacement. I was fine with his apology really, but that was classy. The apple/nut crostini appetizer was delicious: the meatballs pizza was equally delicious, the cheesecake with a scoop of Vanilla and scoop or Strawberry ice cream was also delicious. I really like this place.

Got three pies for take out for a work meeting. Delivery time was really long(understandable — it’s lunch time) so we picked it up. They didn’t provide plates or cutlery but oh well. Bianco, El Greco, Classico — would recommend them all. They mean thin crust when they say thin crust. As expected.

I really enjoyed the quattro formaggio personal pizza here, which I ordered for lunch. It was a good sized portion for one person, and the arugula on it was so fresh you could smell it every time you raised the slice to your mouth to eat it. It was as if they just grew it. They have pretty decent lunch deals here for under $ 10: a slice, a non-alcoholic drink, and soup, two slices and a drink, a slice, non-alcoholic drink, and a salad, sandwiches, etc. and it filled up by noon. This is definitely a popular neighborhood spot and really good thin crust pizza. The four cheese is the only one I tried, but next time I’m going to order one of the lunch deals so it’s a little less expensive. You can order the slices plain or with broccoli, mushroom, or pepperoni, which is nice in case you want something more flavorful, but that day I was just really craving the four cheese so I ordered that from the main menu. A lot of people order take out from here, but I ate mine there. I was very happy with my experience and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

Vezzo has a great selection of pasta(gluten-free available) and pizza. I love the ambiance and atmosphere. I stopped by on a Sunday night with my sister, and we were seated right away. Our waiter was very friendly :)

Solid pizza, a little burnt which is a bit different than most NYC crusts. Reminded me of Anthony’s Coal Fired in my area/other areas in some ways. Pretty good cheese/sauce and the lunch deal for two slices with mushrooms and a fountain soda(I think it was fountain, pretty sure due to the wateriness) is solid. I think I’m giving this place a bit of a benefit of the doubt but the special pizzas look a whole lot better. Also, will go back for the shroomtown if possible, even if it’s a solo version as it sounded quite delicious.

My mom and I came here around 8 pm on a Thursday evening. It seemed like the place to be! It was crowded but we managed to come at the right time to snag a table for two. We ordered garlic bread and two pizzas. The garlic bread was average — I wouldn’t order it again as it was bland and overpriced. The mushroom pizza was delicious. It was thin crust and loaded with a variety of mushroom types. The Greek pizza was alright but that’s not my thing. Main downside was that my mushroom pizza was pretty burnt on the underside of it. I really liked the ambience. Service was slow but I do attribute that to how packed it was. Overall, I’d recommend trying it once if nothing else.

My friends and I decided that we needed to have pizza on our last night in NYC and this place happened to be nearby. We designed our own pizza and it was sooooo good! Pesto sauce, mushrooms, chicken, and the key touch was truffle oil! The thin crust was nice and crispy. If you have room for dessert, they have a delicious NY cheesecake. Just the type that i’d expect from a NY restaurant. We went pretty late, but they were still pretty busy but the wait staff did a good job at keepkng up with the rush.

I tried Vezzo for the first time and I think it is a solid pizza option that’s also a nice-ish sit down dinner. The pizza is light(obviously given thin crust) but also flavorful. I split a large pie, half Shroomtown and half Giardino. I really liked both — don’t get the Shroomtown unless you really like both truffle oil(which I feel can be weird but also nice) and mushrooms of course. The Giardino is a great vegetarian options with a bunch of scrumptious vegetables thrown on. Overall, a solid meal option in the area! P. S. I didn’t try the desserts, but someone next to me got some and they looked hella good.

Went here as a group of 6 on a Monday evening and even at 7:30 pm, this place was pretty packed for a Monday! Our wait time was about 10 minutes. The hostess welcomed us with a smile and she was pretty too! We ordered 2 large pizzas. Based on reviews we went for half a Shroomtown and half of Chikpotle(minus the pineapple). Absolutely loved Shroomtown. So thanks to fellow Unilocalers! Our second pizza was half Meatlovers and half Meatball pizza. Meatlovers was really good, especially the pepperoni on it! We also got some dessert… Chocolate Chip cookie a la mode and Bread pudding. Both were nice. Overall, a good experience. Reasonably priced too.

We got to Vezzo at ~10:30pm and everyone else was closing their tabs, but we were still warmly welcomed and our half-classica, half-shroomtown pie emerged in a few minutes. I wasn’t that hungry so I had just a slice of the shroomtown half but dude… it was like an explosion of heavenly flavors right inside my mouth at the very first bite. Disclaimer: I’m not a huge fan of thin crust. I’m okay with it and I’ll eat it simply because it’s pizza and who doesn’t love pizza. But I love, adore, exalt portabello mushrooms. If I could marry them I would; I’m willing to convert to polygamy so I could love all of them equally. And when they’re in combination with white truffle oil — I’m sold. I didn’t even care that the truffle oil was literally dripping down my hand as I bit into the slice. I have no qualms with looking like a famished, uncouth barbarian when it comes to shroomtown. Other than the pizza, I was also pleasantly surprised by the service. First, I had assumed they would turn us away because usually the kitchen closes a little before the actual closing time, but it wasn’t the case here. Second, our server was attentive, friendly, even humorous, and in no way did he or the hostess rush us to get the hell out so they could close up. When it was 5 minutes to closing the hostess courteously asked if we were paying by cc because they needed to close the register, but that was it. Definitely coming back for a personal pie of shroomtown, aka Love of My Life.

Pour une pizza à croute mince savoureuse, c’est LA place sur Manhattan. J’ai adoré cet endroit sympathique, sans prétention et bondé d’habitués. Je recommande fortement ce resto si vous êtes dans le Midtown East.
