Today’s items are the sold out Colombia La Esmeralda and the available Colombia La Morelia. I had the latter in an Americano with milk($ 3.50) in it. While I’ve a caffeine headache to most coffees, this clean and carefully prepared drink is just so good for me. I also had the chocolate caramel macaroon($ 2.50). Another great experience.

It takes a keen sense of direction to find the shop; off John and William Street, look for the stairs to bring you to the subway. Don’t be discouraged by the NYC subway, never been refreshed look, cause when you arrive to Voyager you will be greeted by passionate and knowledgeable proprietors who really care on delivering you a wonderful cup of joe in a clean retro setting.

Unbelievable. This hidden gem takes a creative presentation to traditional espresso drinks. Serving«Black»(espresso or americano), «white»(latte, cap, etc.), and«filter»(fetco batch brew). They serve Heart coffee from Portland, Oregon. For espresso I ordered the Columbia. It was perfectly dialed. Absolutely phenomenal. I also ordered the Ethiopia Duromina as a filter coffee. I’ve had this before, but again their presentation was perfectly dialed. Also the aesthetic and vibe of the entire place is very nice. Will be coming back soon.

Around the post-work commute hours, this cozy subterranean spot within the 2&3 subway entrance kinda below the HSBC branch place seems to be in drinks-only mode, albeit with friendly staffers and a stiff cuppa.

Awesome interior. Great staff. The best coffee experience I’ve had in NYC. A bit hard to find in the basement of an office building. Careful, they’re not open at night or on weekends. Your phone probably won’t get service down there but they’ve got wifi.

Minimalistic interior, friendly and helpful staff, lots of outlets, wifi, and most importantly really good coffee. Their menu is divided into only three items with three prices– black, which is any espresso drink without milk, white, which is, as anyone probably guessed, espresso drinks with milk, and filter, where you can choose your blend. Loved the presentation of the coffee as well, if you get it to stay. The only downside is that the particular subway entrance that Voyager is located in is only opened Mon-Fri, so that limits their hours of operation to the entrance’s hours. Aside from that, no complaints, and I will definitely be back!

As of the 15th January, 2016, Voyager Espresso has been open for 4 weeks. The place is amazing, and I would definitely recommend you even go out of your way to come here. The décor. It’s stunning. The minimalism and monochrome color scheme is consistent and everywhere. The thin-legged black wrought iron chairs, the circular coffee counter, and more. Even the large banner menu is consistent with the minimalist and monochrome theme. It contains only 3 of the items on the menu and reads«Black, White, Filter». The coffee. It’s not run-of-the-mill good coffee. It’s great coffee. New York has a bunch of niche coffee shops, but many of them fall short on quality. This coffee tasted great. It’s the kind of coffee you remember in the afternoon. Maybe this is just because it’s new, but hey — I’m not complaining. I got the 12oz White with three packs of sugar. Even the samples of smoothie they was designed exquisitely and tasted amazing. It has all the makings of a quirky place. The design — elegant. They even had take away stickers and perfectly designed black and white cards. The location — underground, en route the AC23 subway lines in Financial District from the John Street entrance. The baristas knew the menu and the coffee. Judging from the people inside, it seemed hip. 10⁄10 would recommend.

This place is fantastic! Amazing Australian coffee shop with great people-watching(it’s oddly mesmerizing watching people walking into the subway), outlets, wifi, and the coffee is perfect. My new home office away from home.

Love the Australian hot chocolate and enjoyed the latte. Very comfortable place with great lighting, seating area, wifi, and outlets. The barista is quite amicable. Conveniently located outside the John St 2&3MTA entrance. Love this place!

A hidden gem! Look for it in the subway corridor behind John St at William, near the ½ line. Everything is well-done at this cleverly designed coffee and tea counter, where the finest ingredients are carefully sourced for a refreshingly brief, high quality menu. A bonus for vegans is their delicious house blend of almond-macadamia milk.
