The wait was pretty long, they missed my order the first time around, but didn’t have to wait too long for it. But all the waiting was erased from my memory when I took the first bite! I got the WMD — named appropriately«Wafel of Massive Deliciousness». The belgian chocolate they pour over the wafel must be made by angels, because it was heavenly. Glad I was able to squeeze the WMD into my life.

I have a love/hate relationship with Wafels and Dinges — they taste SO delicious, especially the slightly burnt/brown part from the pearl sugar that tastes like the crunchy top of crème brûlée. The dough is thick/dense, but at the same time chewy. The outside is crunchy and crispy, while the inside is doughy, soft, and chewy. Top it off with nutella /powdered sugar /sliced bananas /strawberries, and you have the most divine dessert/sweet treat ever. Having said that, I always feel a bit sick after eating Wafels and Dinges — there is nothing wrong with the waffle itself, but my stomach just can’t handle all the butter/fat/sugar/other rich ingredients in this dessert. Maybe a bite of the waffle won’t make my stomach hurt so much, but the danger of W&D is that once you have a bite, you can’t stop until it’s gone!

3 stars for the location, price and waffel. the waffel is good, but not wow. I paid $ 8 for the palm-sized waffle withwhipped cream and cookie spread — way too much for a food on the go. You can get the same price in a cozy café. The published location was not correct, but I was so determined to try it that chased it all the way to 35th street. My verdict: the product is quite good but doesn’t meet expectations that Unilocal comments have built up.

Tried Waffle and Dinges as a consequence of eating from another food truck parked across the street from them. We still had room for dessert and thus ordered a single scoop of ice cream. Between the two of us, the portion was big enough to share, and the unique gingerbread flavor seemed light and fluffy. The waffles smelled delicious, but maybe next time! 3.5.

Delicious. Waffles with a crisp exterior, chewy interior. Generous helpings of toppings like nutella. Ice cream on point. Worth the hefty price for the amount of food you get? Meh. Perhaps! Definitely worth at least a first time try.

Have ordered the de verdekke(ice cream sandwich) twice now and haven’t been disappointed either time. The waffle is the real star, nice and doughy.

Amazing Belgium waffles. We tried the food stand at Brayant Park. The service was good the portions were decent. It’s a bit pricey but worth the money.

I came here expecting so much, but got so little in return. Apparently New York’s favourite waffle chain is mediocre. The waffles were flaky, and didn’t sit well in my mouth. Their signature specoloos spread was okay i guess, but honestly tasted nothing like the sparkling reviews I’ve heard of this place. Overall, I was terribly disappointed. Definitely, another place going into the«one & done» list.

I really think I talked this place up to much in my head before coming because when I got there it was just a small overly priced waffle. Don’t get me wrong it was good but I could definitely go somewhere else for a bigger waffle and a better price. I ordered the waffle with bananas strawberries the Belgium hot fudge and whip cream. Most likely won’t return to this place, good for a picture though lol

We decided to try waffles and dinges on our weekend trip to NYC. I ordered a waffle with strawberries and Belgian hot fudge and my husband ordered the s’mores waffle. I loved mine! It was warm and chewy and the combination of the hot fudge and strawberries was amazing! My husband’s s’mores waffle was good but a little too sweet. Simpler is better when it comes to these waffles – let the star of the show(the waffles) shine! We have a Belgian waffle food truck in our home state and it is just as good(perhaps a bit better) than this place so I didn’t want to rate it too high, but if you’ve never had a Belgian waffle like this it’s definitely worth the $ 10 and calories!

Every time we are in the LES, we always make a stop here. Wafels & Dinges is sweet and tasty. When you first go in, the place is clean and decent. You see all their products on display. The Ave B side has their storefront window wide open. The only negative is that no matter how empty Wafels & Dinges is, the wait is so long. Actually the Wafels & Dinges truck is speedier. I still love coming down to The Lower East Side

Tastiest and quickest little dessert ever. Waffles are fresh and delicious, spread it with the speculoos(it’s a gingerbread cookie spread) and some coffee, and you’re golden. Prepare to spend $ 10+ though. Worth it!

OMFG… THISWASAMAZING. I found their truck/stand thing right after my friends wedding at city hall and it truly nourished my body and soul after all that walking around taking photos and such. I believe I got the Throwdown with strawberries and whip cream. Speekuloos? I think it’s like Biscoff or some cookie spread. So good… so heavenly. The perfect bite. TRYTHISIFYOUCAN!!!

This place was great! Somehow, the waffles part themselves are almost like a pastry. I don’t know how they cook them, but its not just a dry waffle with sweets on top. The waffles themselves are amazing! If you have a sweet tooth at all, I highly recommend it. It was a little pricey though. Around $ 6 for a waffle that isn’t that big. But definitely worth a visit once in a blue moon.

I went to this food truck because of the great reviews about it. I got the original with walnuts, cookie crumble and maple syrup. This is really pricey, ONE waffle came out to $ 8! The guy added powdered sugar and chocolate syrup. Overall, it was way too sweet. I only ate about 1⁄3 of it. And not just the toppings, the dough too. I guess it’s because of my adjusted palate to high sugar and sodium. Also, i realized I don’t like my waffles cakey, I like them crispy and light, so I don’t think I’ll come back for any more belgian waffles. Unique take out box though!

We got the throwdown waffle which is a waffle with spekuloos spread and whipped cream. This was delicious and simple yet satisfying. Enough for three to share since we were walking around with the goal of trying a lot of different food in one day. Will definetly be back to try more– I have my eye on the maple syrup and bacon… mmm

Their food truck is on 86th street between 4th and 5th ave on Sundays and let me tell you, I have to do everything possible to avoid it. I’ll spend every dollar I have there. Their waffles! Their dinges! Soooooo good. Nailed it!

I love this place! Seriously, I’m so glad I passed by this and decided to stop and give it a try. This has one of the best waffles I ever had in life. The waffle is perfect sweetness and softness. I love all the toppings they have and the combinations of them are just delicious. Anyway, if you like waffles or just sweets in general, I guaranteed this place doesn’t disappoint.
