Woops might be my new favorite franchise in the city. I tried a few of their macarons, which were exceptional — the perfect consistency. They had quite a unique variety of them in at least a dozen flavors, in addition to a large assortment of other fresh baked goods, especially for a rather small shop. There are four small tables(seats for two) and a couple of solo seats by the window, so there isn’t really space for a group to meet, but it’s a lovely space. The soy chai latte I had there was also excellent and not too sweet. The staff is friendly and quick to serve customers, too.

Got a walnut-chocolate chip cookie when the shop first opened and it was delicious. I got the same cookie today and it was meh. It was dry(perhaps it wasn’t baked this morning) and the ingredients didn’t taste combined. I got mostly butter in one bite and then mostly brown sugar in another bite. I will try it one more time to see if today was a fluke.

This place is such a cute little gem. The pastries are delicious and the macaroons are great! My favorite was the lemon poppy and the Rugalach. Staff is as very sweet and the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. I will definitely be back!

What a cute little bakery with fresh flowers on each table! I ordered my pistachio macaron, which has become my standard when trying out new macaron shops, and was very pleased with the texture and sugar level. The red velvet, which is my favorite cupcake flavor, tasted pretty odd. It also had a different consistency and was more gel-like. Staff was great! I saw the sign about their macaron gelato sandwich and asked how about the price. With tax, it comes out to be ~$ 7 yikes! He also showed me their last one from the freezer so I could get an idea of the size. It’s definitely bigger than the typical macaron, probably the size of 2×2 macarons so I guess it’s not too bad considering that a single macaron is $ 2.50. These bite-size treats are expensive! They also have Levain-looking-like cookies! You know, the ones that can easily be mistaken for cake. I can’t wait to try those next time! They also have a stamp card for their coffee. Wish they had one for their macarons haha.

This place begs the fan of color and pastries to stop by and indulge in something too sugary for a diet or so colorful and fun in a macaron flavor. There are at least 10 to 15 flavors to choose from so you won’t have an objection to this macaron making shoppe. They also sell pretty good rugelach in flavors unique to their store(jalapeño, feta). I also first tried an alfajor here unaware of the flavor of this shortbread like biscuit. The nutella and dulce de leche taste the same to me unfortunately but the cookie itself is good and gone in two bites. Of course their selling point is the colorful wonderful macaron and those are worth stopping by. I’d venture to say they’re better than the café’s.

Their ‘cookies’ are at best cakes and at worst a dense travesty to baked goods everywhere. This chainlet is expanding too quickly amidst the macaron quasi-craze(there’s only one ‘o’, goons) and should stick to that, or at least revisit their red velvet gutbomb; shaping something sorta kinda somewhat like a cookie does not make it a cookie. Sure, the dictionary defines ‘cookie’ as ‘a small sweet cake, typically round, flat, and crisp’, but those who eat know the distinction is finer. Head to City Cakes and Levain for immensely better megacookies wannabes.

This rating is simply for the coffee which is overpriced and pretty bad/watery. The pastries, cookies and macaroons looked amazing though and I’d probably walk back in to try one if I ever stumble upon this shop. Just skip the coffee

Not everything that shines is gold smh It’s sad because when you meet a place like this you can get a real cozy sensation but as of lately it hasn’t been the same. Thankfully the quality of the food still is amazing but the service hasn’t been at that great and when you have prices like these you have to really win your customers over with your hospitality. Let’s see how it goes in a few months down the road.

I stopped in here last week before a work dinner nearby. With macaroons on display how could I resist? And I’m glad I didn’t. I brought them to a big account and they LOVED them. One woman who is the picture of healthy eating and moderation said she had one and couldn’t stop. I have a happy customer for life! Or at least for a month or two… Jasmine at Woops was amazingly helpful. She told me all the best flavors and even gave me a sample of nutella rugelach. For me, rugelach is not usually a big draw because it can be dry, but Jasmine had me at nutella. I was really glad I tried it. It was so moist and yummy. Next time I go, I’m getting treats for my peeps and a stash just for me!

I want to say that you should stay away from this place because (1) I want it all for myself and (2) It’s addicting and may cause a cavity or several! LOL The macaroons MELT in your mouth, melt… it doesn’t flake, the inside isn’t gooey… it just melts as soon as you take a bite. You die a little when it happens because it’s that good. There is no such thing as a favorite flavor here… they are all amazing. OH and the Red Velvet cookie… OHEMGEE. I have nothing to say. This review is useless because you cannot describe the freshness and tastiness of this place. Leave work, go now.

To put it bluntly, the worst macarons or coffee I’ve had the displeasure of having. Any feeble attempts of flavoring them from a bottle is drowned by sugar and whatever artificial gelling agent they use. The coffee was worse than some instant blends, and if they call it hand-roasted they mean in a panini press. I ordered one of each flavor to hunt and hope for a hidden gem, but I can happily save my time and tastebuds for something better. If you need a gift for someone with the kind of a child, they might be amused by the bright colours. Otherwise, join the grown-ups table at Laduree.

The multi grain croissant is delicious! Just the right amount of flakiness and chewiness

Truly delightful little gem w/wonderfully baked delicious treats! WOOPS! I ate everything! I have so far tried Nutella Rugelach(scrumptious!), Blueberry White Chocolate muffin(v. light & fluffy and not too sweet — love it!), Dulce de Leche Alfajores(OMG!) The staff here are so friendly(esp Naama), it’s a real«treat» to stop in(sorry for the pun!). Woops! brings a very neighborhood’y feel to busy 2nd Avenue. Will be back for more!

I know there are already a few Woops locations in the city, but I’m really excited that this one opened up a block away from my apartment! Might be a little harder to find because of all of the scaffolding on the block but this place is definitely worth it! The interior is so charming, with tons of subway tile and flowers on the tables. I really like their macarons — have tried strawberry, mint chocolate chip, lemon. They also have cookies, brownies, coffee, stroopwafel, etc. Staff is also super nice. The few times I’ve been, it’s never been crowded so it would be a nice place for a quick coffee meeting!
