Decent price and massage.

Today I had Johnny for the second time and I have to say that the massage is very good technically. If you would like a more sensual or relaxing massage you might want to try someone else. The massage though was well done mechanically and technically, he also gave me a bit of stretching for the back.
The bed smelled good this time and I was taken without an appointment.

Went here the other day with my husband and we both had a great experience. Would definitely recommend this spa to anyone as it is the most inexpensive in town. We have been to about 6 different places in the city and this is definitely the best. However what is the tipping guideline? I wasn’t sure how much to give and I just want to make sure I’m not offending anyone when we go out for a massage. Usually I tip based on quality 20 – 25.

My first time there last year was really good, I was happy with the massage skill of the young masseuse. I came back around mid Feb 2015, was told on the phone that they had 4 guys to choose from but the guy who took my payment when I arrived just volunteered himself to be my therapist. Alas, he didn’t gave me a chance to pick, and toward the end he told me for an «extra tips». I was so turned of by his approached, and that just ruined my massage night. I would not go back, from the scale 1 to 10 (10 being the best), his massage skill was a 7. The establishment was ok. If this is a gay friendly business, the owner should have a strict policy for their employees not to solicit extra tips!

Went to get a massage at this place with my girlfriend when we were visiting New York. The atmosphere of this place is awesome. It makes you feel relax right when you walk in. The price is reasonable which is surprising since it’s New York. I got the 1 hour for $ 45 dollars deal, but you have to pay $ 20 for tip. The guy giving me the message was strong and the massage releases all kind of stresses. This was also my first time going to a male massage parlor.

Walked in for a one hour massage which says it’s 45 dollars. Then reception guy brings out another guy to tell me there’s a 20 tip minimum, all of which they wanted up front. Too much bullshit, I walked out.

I had a massage today and the massage was good, I paid $ 45.00 for the massage and gave the massage therapist a $ 20/​tip and he cornered me demanding $ 5 more, I did have any change, all I had was a $ 10 bill which he took and had no change… so I paid $ 75.00 for this $ 45.00 massage. As I said the massage was good, but not worth $ 75.00.

I have been to Yeah Man Spa multiple times. They are both professional and courteous. The therapists are excellent and give great deep or lighter massage as required. They are always welcoming as well as offering good value.
It’s a simple and unpretentious quiet retreat.
It is well located and easy to get to… I plan to go again soon!

I have been going to Yeah Man Spa for many years now. The place just keeps getting better. on my recent trip to Yeah Man Spa I was pleasantly surprised to see the addition of sliding doors to replace the curtains that they once had. This allows for a quieter treatment room as well as an added level of privacy. It is good to see the owner is investing money in his business. A huge bonus for me is that sometimes I come right from work and need a place to park the car and there is plenty free and metered parking in the area, but for the times when I have to take the train there are 5 train lines that are within 3 blocks walk. As for the Massage Therapist he was Awesome. He started off by first asking me how I like my massage, I loved that because not everyone likes their massage the same way. The massage room was very clean and had a really nice smell to enhance the massage. I agree with the previous review that the place has a relaxing atmosphere. I like this small Spa over the bigger more expensive spas you find on the upper west side. Where in the world can you get a massage for $ 45 an hour, and as an incentive for every 5^th massage you get bonus time on your massage GREAT DEAL. Love this place. Because of the good prices I am going more often and feeling much better. Thank you Yeah Man SpaI don’t know what I would do without you guys. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I was worried about a dude touching my body in the States, but I needed to compare a massage I got from Vietnam that was excellent The results are in: It was the best male massage place I have visited. It offer ‘great pricing and it is very clean. In addition, it in a perfect location.

While I’m generally fine with simple — and even enjoy a little dank or sketchy (I’m not a clean freak per se, and not shy in other ways) — this place is not good. It’s unclean. The small bathroom had mold on the grout and old, smelly bathmats. The massage rooms only have curtains, not doors, and you can hear the bar downstairs pumping loud music. The manager popped his head in twice to talk to the massage therapist in chinese. And, when I was getting up to leave, I saw one of those furry/​multi-​legged bugs, about 2″ long, scurrying over the massage table! Grossed me out. If it had crawled on me during the massage I’d have freaked. Oh and there’s no place to put your clothes, so they were piled on the floor and its old dirty carpet, and all I can think of now is «bed bugs». Yuck. (so far, so good…)
Massage guy was only OK — spent too much time with compression over a towel.
Will not be back.
Stick with «The One» in Chelsea… clean & reliable.

Andy is great. I have been a few times now, and I always leave feeling rejuvenated. If your looking for an easy spa to visit for a male masseuse with out all the normal hassle… go here.

i heard about this place so i decided to check it out. the massage was good but masseur seemed unprofessional. he was in jeans and tee shirt and had ear plug with ipod or blackberry? i forgot to tip him and my mind was so relax because they required to pay in the beginning. by the time i was at the door, he requested tips from me? i thought that was rude and weird to ask me …

I was also spammed via grindr by this «spa». But since I have a bad back, their prices were affordable and their website showed some cute Asian boys I figured I’d give it a shot. Well first, the place was so dank and crusty looking, then the masseur I requested looked NOTHING like the photo. They must’ve gotten those images off some stock images. The massage was mediocre at best. I’d rather pay the extra and get a great massage. Not worth it…

I did not have an experience like Mike C. (Although if the masseuse tried to stick his finger in his bum right away, why didn’t he walk out then instead of apparently turning face-​up to present himself for an unwanted handjob?). My masseuse Jimmy was professional, and pretty good at it. Does every inch of body except the nasty bits – 100% legit. He makes you shower first, which was fine. He uses a lot of oil, but wipes if off with hot towels at the end. It was a full hour– he sets an alarm.
It is kinda dark and dank, but that’s typical for the Chinese massage places — It’s not the Nickel Men’s Spa for $ 125 for 50 min, but $ 45 for an hour.
He does improperly Spam on Grindr — I was going to report it but then for once in my life I actually was looking for something in a spam ad

I don’t know about the massages because before I could even get a massage, they started harassing me with spam.
Grindr, an iphone app which mixes personal ads with GPS, is their favorite source of harassing potential customers. Whenever i turn on Grindr in the East Village, i get messages from fake grindr users just flooding me with the name, address, and pricing of this place. When i have blocked the profile, another pops up. I’m not sure how they have managed to get so many smartphone accounts.
When i have asked them about this practice (which is a complete violation of the Grindr Terms of Service) they have replied with things like «we’ve got to pay our rent» and a few choice phrases which are too rude to repeat here.
I assume if they are resorting to stalking grindr and spamming its users, there must be something wrong with the place. A more legit company would just pay for ad space on appropriate apps.
