Not as good as taco truck food but I feel like my meal was healthier than battered, sugared Asian food. 3 tacos $ 1.65 each. Carne asada, grilled chicken, and spicy steak carne ranchero. Cant say I’ll come back for the steak but the grilled chicken was good!

Not sure how this place only has 2.5 stars on Unilocal… I love the burritos here. My favorite is the Asada burrito, super style minus the onions. Let’s start at the top, service is pretty damn good. The owner is friendly always smiling and it is easy to see he loves his business. Food here is always good and hands down best green salsa I’ve ever had(salsa was liquidity not jelly like at all). I love burritos and I’ve had burritos at many taquerias and the meat portion at this place compare to every other taqueria is the same if not more generous but certainly not skimpy. I seriously look forward to Sunday’s cause that is usually the day I stop by for my weekly burrito. Best food place at the newpark mall beating out Sarabol by a hairline… Oh and the only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because I would prefer fresh chips not the ones he serves but besides that awesome place!

I really don’t know why there are so many bad reviews on this place. Its pretty good. I come here about once a week and get the carnitas burrito. Its pretty good. I get it pretty spicy. The server is nice. Overall not bad for a mall place.

Wow even for the low expectations of a mall’s food court, this place doesn’t cut it. I’ve gone here twice for lunch now. Both times came full of disappointment. Their burritos are terrible. It’s like every ingredient overwhelms one another in an endless chain of bland. The cheese is the worst part. Just a little bit of it in your bite will make your whole mouth feel like it’s been punched with cheddar. The beans are just as bad. Texture of sand, and just as dry! The meat is alright, but theres far too little of it in the burrito to even taste it through the beans and cheese. Here’s the grossest part though about this place. I know another review mentioned the cashier touching money then touching the tortilla, but this is worse. I asked for some salsa to put on my burrito, so the chef put some in one of those little plastic containers for me. I went to pour it on my burrito, and it all plopped out at once, jelly status. It was literally solidified into one huge glob of salsa. It even had that jello like jiggle to it. Not cool yo Kinda sad when fast food places at a mall are better than an actual restaurant.

Food court at Newpark Mall… The guy who prepped my burrito here didn’t wash his hands after a transaction withuo the cash register. I pointed this out to him as he grabbed the tortilla. He then rinsed his hands with no soap and dried them on his apron. Never again will I patron here!

Not bad for mall food but I’ve had bettter. One thing I really have to point out is the rice is really salty. The chicken is bland, and slightly pink but cooked. The server is a bit«rough» and kinda offended me when he asked what salsa I wanted and I said hot and he asked me if I was sure. Really now?

Just ok. The beans were under cooked and the salsa was too salty.

The only Mexican food option at Newpark Mall’s food court. The service is friendly, but the food is only so/so. It’s not bad, just no where near good. I bought two tacos for $ 150 each. One carne ranchero and the other chicken. Both were just too dry. Even with hot sauce(and free chips) it didn’t do the trick. 2.5 stars. I’ve had 8972 better Mexican food places.

Burrito Loco has replaced the other mediocre burrito place in the Newpark mall food court. The food here, since changing owners and name, has remained mediocre. However, they have made it a litle worse by no longer offering a salsa bar. I ordered a regular chicken burrito, and it was just okay. Newpark doesn’t ever deviate from mediocre. Sad.
