We were from out of town and got hungry late at night. Christys was the only place open that late. The pizza was nice, the crust was medium-thin and the sauce was tasty and slightly sweet. We had the 16″ pepperoni for 12.00. A bargain.

I have always loved Christy’s Pizza: Great sauce, perfect combo of toppings, and not expensive. They have a wonderful lunch special of a pizza and a salad for $ 5.75, and my husband and I look forward to ordering their pizzas for dinner. A few months ago, we quit ordering for a while due to rudeness on the phone multiple times. When we ordered a pizza, the lady was extremely short with us and then hung up while I was talking. However, we started ordering again, and then other problems came up: never having our call answered after multiple calls while they were open and a woman who was short again. We don’t have this issue when we come in and speak with someone, so I’m not sure who is answering their phones. So, we’re stuck with the issue of accepting the rudeness for great food or saying goodbye to one of our favorite pizzas. If you don’t mind the possibility of rude, call and order. You’ll have a great meal; the food will speak for itself. If you do, go in or try somewhere else.

Best pizza in town, hands down! The sauce is nice and sweet with a delicious thick texture. They do not skimp on the cheese or toppings, you definitely get what you pay for. They are now serving soups, pasta salad, potato salad, and macaroni salad. My only real gripe about the place is that they over charge for drinks and if you order tea, you have to pay for refills. Overall, this is the best pizza Newark has to offer.

Their $ 11 pepperoni pizza special is a great deal for a 16 inch pizza. They also have a great Cajun and Hawaiian pizzas.

We have lived in Newark for five years and have tried several pizza places looking for«the one». Christy’s is it! The toppings are super fresh, the prices are totally reasonable, and the staff is kind and generous.

I did a review on Papa Boos, whos restaurant side is ran by Cristy’s, but this is one of their actual restaurants. The pie is very good, as are the subs, but some of the sides and appetizers are somewhat bland. This location is rather dated, but clean and with a friendly and helpful staff. may not be the best pizza in central Ohio, but good enough to go back to.

So, after a long day of meetings, I decided to order-in pizza to the hotel, and wanted to try a local establishment instead of a Domino’s or Pizza Hut. Christy’s offered free delivery, and had a fairly comprehensive menu, which the hotel happened to have at the desk. The delivery was quoted as 30 – 45 minutes, but mine arrived(and HOT) in about 20 minutes, which was both great and unexpected. They only offer one type of crust, an average thickness crust that was quite flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. I definitely satisfied my pizza craving, and had a good time doing so! Very much recommended if you are ever in Lancaster, OH.
