I come here time to time after work or practice. I usually come here during night time and I always love their service. Very friendly and welcoming. There was one evening when they closed earlier so I was going to leave, but they still told me to come in and eat. Also, this place is huge. There’s a karaōke place in the middle and the setting here is nice!

3.5 stars Went on a Sat night, nice place, lots of potential. Great stage area for banquets and special events. Overall enjoyed dinner there, with the exception that the meat had to be pre-cooked, at least tasted that way, and reheated. Dry and kinda hard even though flavorful. I really don’t understand why this type of sit down restaurant would do this because the expectation is to be served food made to order. Though we were starving and food came out exceptionally fast.

I always come here when I need a quick Phở fix and it always hits the spot! Drinks can sometimes take a little longer if you get a boba drink, but it’s usually worth it. The service is pretty good too. They always come back to check in or give refills on water!

I’ve been here a few times for phở bit recently went here for an after meeting lunch. My business partners and I all ordered the rice plates which were very delicious. We also had a good experience with the servers. If you’re in the area and in the mood for phở or other Vietnamese food give this place a shot. You’ll be glad you did.

Spring rolls — Peanut Sauce is serve HOT! That’s new and different for me. The previous Phở serve their peanut sauce room temperature, therefore I will say that I am not a big fan of the warm peanut sauce. Phở Tai– I had better and I thought it was a bit more salty for my taste. The rare beef had a lot of fat and tendon which made it hard to enjoy. #34 Cold noodles with slice pork — it was good the sauce is tasty and be pork was delicious. Once again the pork had a more fat than usual in my opinion. The ambient was clean very spacious tables. The service was very slow since they where under staff. Had to walk up to the front to ask for my check.

I always passed by this place for the many years I have lived in Fremont. It has always crossed my mind who the hell would come to this place. And it turns out I was extremely hungry during lunch so I dropped by to order to go. The lady working the front was extremely nice. She was patient and helpful in assisting me. I ended up ordering one of their combo rice plates seeing that is what they are known for. To my surprise my order came out literally 5 – 10 minutes after I ordered. Wow, talk about efficiency! The broken rice was actually pretty damn good. Moist and fluffy. Sadly, the grilled pork and egg cake was average. Nothing to rave about. Overall, I would definitely come back if I’m craving com tam again and try their other items.

I usually order the #9 phở and my boyfriend orders a broken rice plate. Food can be a hit or miss when coming here late at night, but it gets the job done in fulfilling our cravings for Vietnamese food. When I come here late at night and order phở, the broth can sometimes taste really salty and the noodles aren’t fresh. I can tell the noodles aren’t fresh because the noodles stay clumped together in the bowl. This means the noodles have been laying out for a while before being thrown into the bowl of broth. My boyfriend can also taste at times that his meats are not fresh as if they were cooked a while ago and then later brought out and reheated in the microwave. I’ve eaten here plenty of times during the day before where the meats for the rice plates are freshly cooked, so I can say that food here is decent. I’ll keep coming back due to convenience of the location, cleanliness of the store, no wait time, and prompt service. You pay at the front counter by the entrance of the door.

Horrible place. I went here before since there not many Vietnamese restaurants around but couldn’t finish the food. Worst Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. Feel sorry for the employees here. Went looking for a part time job for my auntie and found out that they hiring people under the table for cheap, $ 60/day and you have to work 10 – 12 hrs/day.

It was pretty expensive for a small bowl of phở… You can’t even pick the size. The phở was good and had a lot of meat in it.

Okay place. I’ve definitely had better. The food wasn’t bad. Service was horrible. It’s a real pet peeve of mine when food doesn’t come out at the same time and your left waiting for 5 – 10 minutes for the last of your party to get their meal. What’s worse was that they forgot about the last two rice dishes ordered. We had to remind them and there was only five of us in the party. There wasn’t even an insane amount of us. Overall, this place had ok food but even worse service. Wouldn’t come back.

******************* 1455 ****************** Com Tam Thanh is the same family at the one in East San Jose, which is my favorite place for Canh Bun, shrimp/crab, tomato noodle soup with steamed Ong-Choy spinach. I ordered the same dish here, but it wasn’t the same. The steamed Ong-Choy spinach was chewy and the broth lack of flavor. My mom ordered the broken rice dish, it was a generous portion, but the grilled pork was dried, and so was the shredded pork/skin. Service was good and the food was cheaper than San Jose location.

The food taste is not much to brag about(it’s decent compare to other spots) but the service is exceptional! Love the smile and friendliness from the boss. Its price is decent and won’t kill. Overall I love it and I would definitely always come back!

Huge place that has Vietnamese music on certain nights(I haven’t been but saw the signs). The wonton egg noodle had pieces of fried pork skin in the broth which is a nice surprise when eating. It’s still crispy even in the soup. The spring rolls are soft and not dried out which is a plus. I’ve noticed they have happy hour foods on certain weekdays which makes me wanna go back to try more.

3.5* I’ve only been here once and they serve a decent broken rice plate. .and better bc it’s in their name! The pork had great flavor. much prefer it over huong lan or vung tau’s grilled pork. There was a lot of oil under the meat. I was initially scared to try this place and be let down. The shrimp cake was alright. Fried nicely and dense w shrimp paste. Could have been more seasoned though. the rice was perfect. It was served w fried chicharrone-like bits. 8⁄10 The egg rolls(imperial) we ordered had a decent filling but egg roll wrapper. I prefer spring roll wrapper bc it gives it a pleasant crispness w a nice bite/chew. they were served w lettuce, pickled carrot and Daikon and cilantro. Rated 7⁄10. Overall quick service and decent rice plate without driving to sj to fill the craving temporarily. but not for long. I would drive to have my fave place.

7 course beef and pork/shrimp rolls with add on mangos. Everything was quite flavorful and fresh. There were a variety of sauces that all perfectly flavored the dishes. Service was fast. Staff was very friendly. Food was very satisfying. Thoroughly enjoyed this meal and would definitely recommend trying this place.

I come here all the time with my girlfriend. It’s one of my goto places for Phở. The staff is always smiling and friendly and once you come her enough. They’ll pretty much know what you’re gonna get. The Phở is awesome here. Broth is amazing and one of the best places for the wonton soup with noodles. You have to try it. It’s #41 on the revised menu. This place also has more than one type of spring roll so it’s pretty awesome. All in all I’ll keep coming here. Great people and great food.

If I ever want phở, I always come here. They have one of the best tasting phở I have yet to try. I usually get a chicken noodle or a wonton with noodle. Always very good. For an appetizer I usually get mango spring rolls and I absolutely love their peanut sauce. I think one thing that sets them apart from other restaurants peanut sauce is it is heated. Which I LOVE! Service is consistent. Bus boys are Always near by to fill water or clean off tables. They are sometimes kinda quick to come by your table and ask if you’re ready. Which is fine for me as I have come here many times but that may aggravate other people. Their milk tea Kinda sucks. However their Thai ice tea is on point. As well as their iced coffee. Their hot tea sucks too. Its just a tea bag and call me snobby but I personally prefer loose leaf. D: But in all. This place is great!
