Edible Arrangements

I would NEVER order from this place again! I placed an order at 5:30pm (FOR PICK UP!!!) was the same day at 6pm. i was called at 5:51, 20 MINUTES LATER! that my order had to be cancelled because after 5pm they do not make baskets with chocolate but they close at 7pm? my order was $ 61.75 but i used a promo code that was given to me for becoming a EA member that gave me $ 10 off my purchase so i used it. 51.75 was taken from my debit card and i was told i was going to receieve a full refund BUT i wouldnt be able to use the promo again even though my order was cancelled by THEM. I checked the next morning to see if the money was refunded back into my account and was still NOT there. I called and asked to speak with an owner or management and neither were available to answer my call? its 2pm on a wednesday and no manager is to be found? whats funny is that i went to the Nutley EA and they made the same order for me in LESS THAN 45 MINUTES!
I work for the GATEWAY building on Raymond Blvd and also a francise gym of which happens to be located in several towns that Edible Arrangements are located as well! I will make sure to let ALL of my co workers know that this business is ran poorly and not to do business with them!
Corporate will be receiving a letter from me as well!

Before doing business with this franchise, I would invite anyone to go to BBB (Better Business Bureau) and see the multitude of complaints in regards to this location. This franchise is owned by Nelson Perez, and ran by a manager as unscrupulous as he is. In January of this year, I answered an ad on craigslist looking for drivers for EA to deliver for the busy Valentines Day holiday. I was contacted by the Manager on several times, and agreed to work. Due to the weather Valentine’s orders were delivered on February 15^th. I worked that day. And was never paid when I was suppose to be paid. I called and spoke with the manager. Called and ask to speak with the owner but could never catch him. I sent a certified letter, received the return card but never a check for my services. I was told a check was in the mail, due to the fact that I had moved out of state to South Carolina. I waited weeks and heard nothing. Well I just so happen to take the 11hr drive to NJ and visit for a week. I stopped into the EA location, and though I would have liked to speak with the owner, I settled for the manager whom was quite shocked to see me standing there. I asked for my money and was paid in cash. It’s the principal, if someone does a service for you, you pay them. Before working for EA I had patronized this place a couple of times. I would never do that again. I respect an honest person and business over any immoral person any day. Nelson Perez and his Manager sidekick have been giving many people the shaft for a long while. Their in a business to please others but all these two are doing is pleasing themselves. Not the way to do business.

I did a walk-​in as a last minute gift and they were able to show me many options available within an 30mins-​1hr wait, which was not that bad and the fruits were fresh. My mother loved her gift and I would def. shop there more often and recommend them to others.
