For airport food I thought this place was great! Any of the sit down restaurants in Newark airport are pretty expensive. I was pleased to see this place was a little less pricey. The service was very fast, and the food was very good. What more could you ask for?

The service was good and responsive. The squash soup I ordered was bland and tasted like it came out of a carton. The carrot cake, though seemed like it came out of a pre-made and non-fresh container was tasty. If they could improve there food and freshness I might be willing to try this place again.

Only because I can’t give zero stars. Service was awful. Servers brought the wrong entrees five times and seemed generally confused as to what we had ordered and why we would want the food we ordered. Drinks took forever and we’re not refilled despite us waiting eons. They couldn’t figure out the iPads, and acted as if the technology that was implemented by their own people to order was somehow our idea. Manager was called in and could care less, didn’t offer us anything. Stick to the food court.

There are good values on this menu, such as the interesting and generously portioned lentil salad with feta. On the other hand, the«falafel sandwich» was tiny, dry, and bizarrely seasoned.(Cinnamon falafel? Seriously?) Speaking of which, there are two things called«falafel» here. The«tofu falafel» is actually spit-it-out inedible. When I complained, though, they subbed it for a fairly good schnitzel at no extra charge.(So much for no meat on this trip.) The baba ghannouj is bland, but the pita it’s served with is pretty good. If stuck in this terminal again, I’d probably return to La Flora and get the lentil salad.

What an effort. These guys deserve a medal for customer service — really extraordinary. Great place for a quick and lovely breakfast. Try the Greek Salad or any frittata. Looking forward to my next trip.

Very poor service. Stuff didn’t provide tap water. Very slow and mellow. Food is ok, but overpriced. iPad ordering is full of ads. Not happy with the place overall. I expected better service. I hope they going to change for better. Probably is better to go to Jamba Juice instead.

The iPads at the Newark airport are as asinine an idea as taking a steering wheel away from cars: some people will be better drivers, but it only penalizes the people who already knew where they were going in life. You can’t pay in cash. So this is «Da Man» saying, «Fine! Go hungry.» … again. The poor servers are stuck with multitudes of people begging to not use these thing. I imagine it has been shoved down their throats from people getting kick-backs(since one has to watch a commercial to pay a tab). The serving staff here was very nice however frustraded they were with the system.

Another tablet-based restaurant that fails to utilize its tech for the greatest good. Poor — poor — poor service. Ordered and paid for a lamb meal(spoiler: extremely dry) and drink. 5 minutes go by and I get the drink. 20 more minutes no food only to find that it never went thru. Additional 30 minutes before getting a tasteless piece of burnt meat. Ps– the screen shot shows it with fries but I honestly couldn’t even find fries on the menu. Avoid.

Don’t let the negative reviews scare you– it’s a good place! We ordered with the tablet with no issues and when they ran out of schwarma(I know, for a Mediterranean place right?!) they offered us the lamb sausage instead. BF ordered the roasted butternut squash salad and I got the chicken schwarma sandwich. It’s definitely on the smaller side– you only get half a sandwich and some salad but if you’re looking for a healthier and light meal– then I would give this place a shot. I was nauseous and brought in my own ginger ale and the server happily brought me cups filled with ice. I’m docking stars bc of the price and quantity of food– especially if you’re hungry. But it’s nice to sit at the table, charge up your electronics and you can also use the iPad for your viewing pleasure.

This may have been the healthiest and most flavorful choice in all of terminal. You order via iPad, but the friendly staff are there to assist you and add that personal touch that prevents it from being cold and detached. I had the Rosted Squash Salad which was butternut and acorn squash spiced with sumac, onion and some feta Cheese. I added Lamb sausage and it made quite a tasty meal when paired with the Wolters Pilsner. We also had the Jerusalem Chicken Shawarma. It was smaller than desired, but the sale was tasty and had a wonderful mint dressing, which I actually thought tasted more like a mustard seed vinaigrette. The flavor of the Shawarma reminded me of my beloved Nick Tahou’s Garbage plate — cumin!

Perhaps I just picked the right item, but I think this place is terribly under-rated, especially for the famished vegan traveler. Give the crispy cauliflower pita pizza a try. I don’t think it will disappoint.

Another tablet-based business model disaster. Arrogant service can’t be bothered, and even after my tablet was rebooted, the beer menu didn’t match what was on tap. So i was charged some random amount for something else. Eating surfaces are slimy, it seems the hired help is only their for tablet training. Lackluster food after a long wait(people need to get on planes; hello?), a totally disinterested waitstaff, ludicrous tablet ordering system, unclean unkempt environment where the fruitflies outnumber the customers 1000 to 1. The one star is a gift.

Fourth time I’ve been here. I love the food, love the staff but the iPad’s have to go!!! They never seem to work for the customer and drive the staff inane. And it’s so highly unsanitary. I’m losing my patience and this may be my last time.

I would remove the tablets and add service. The food was awful! 15 minutes to watch a person mix two drinks. I know this is a new concept restaurant that has tablets on each table so you can creat your own order then a food runner brings it to you. I get that. Less service than McDonald’s. You pay your own check at the end. The best part is they ask for a 20% TIP. I’m not sure if I should tip myself or the tablet.

Like General Ackbar says«It’s a trap!» I had to ask for my water every time and iPad card scanners malfunction easily. The food is ok, but with the price you pay for food vs amount vs lack of service.

Ordered the lamb sausage sandwich, it had good flavor but couldn’t believe the scarce meat under all that bread(think four thin breakfast link sausages). A lot to charge for four links irked beneath too much bun …

Avoid at all cost! There is no/terrible service. I spent more than 1.5 hr here to get food with no success. 20 min after ordering, first waiter showed up to tell me my item is not available and offered a replacement. Another 30 min passed, waiter #2 showed up and informed me that the replacement is unavailable and again offered a second replacement. I wish I had left right then. After 40 min of non-communication, I flagged down waiter #3 and he informed me with an attitude and quite un-apologetically that the 2nd replacement item is not available either. Before I leave, waiter #3 promised me that he will redeem the charge from my credit card, but this didn’t happen. Definitely going to dispute the charge with my credit card company. No idea how the food tastes here since I didn’t get any. Oh, one more thing, ordering from ipad is fancy, but 3 out of 4 are not working when you swipe a credit card.

Wish there is 0 star option. Extremely disappointed. Ordered chicken, was told chicken sold out after 10 mins. Then switched to fish, was told fish sold out after another 10 mins. Then switched for rib, waited for 30 mins. Again was told sold out ! Wasted 1 hour without any food. Please stay away at all cost.

I gotta tell you this is a sleeper for you traveling foodies stuck in Newark Terminal c. The food quality is surprising, Fresh, and innovative and plenty of good choices. What also blew me away was the wine choices. Not bad at all ! The process was innovative but still needs work.(Bunch was our server really worked hard to fix the IPad, she is great !)They use iPAds to order etc and the cC swipers don’t work that well. Other than that it was really a nice place(For airports foodies)

Reasonable, quick, and convenient with good veggie options. Mostly a Greek/Mediterranean menu. Got the falafel sandwich and it was solid average(aka«good» for Airport food. Lots of seating space and most of the times, it’s not hard to find a table. They also serve drinks, which seems quite steep — even by Airport Standards(darn those expense accounts)
