Honestly the best falafel sandwich(vegetarian) I have ever had !! tried it with a side of hummus, which was also good. Also got a fresh fruit drink(beets, carrot, ginger, and something else). I was really glad to see they had this available. Server lady was very nice

Poor service and they need a new order of food from the Sysco truck. Way way over priced not good for kids and elderly folks!

Sat down waited 10 minutes. Got no water no order no recognition of existence. Asked for hot wings to go. Took 20 min… and I got regular wings wrapped in tin foil and a cup of hot sauce wrapped in saran wrap and no lid. Food was decent.

Absolutely pathetic. The food is bland, tastless, and you are better off going to any tired snd true fast food chain.

We ordered a falafel platter and a hummus platter for dinner while waiting for a flight. The falafels were crunchy, but very oily. The hummus tasted like it came from a can. The pita was stale. It was basically what I expected, though I had hoped to be slightly more full. No pickled radishes, or even pickles of any kind, although they did provide tahini. I asked for hot sauce and I got tabasco. I guess that’s what you get at a place with«mediterranean wings.» It took forever to get my bill and escape, which is weird for an airport.

Came here on a layover from Memphis to Munich. Was looking for somewhere that I could get a decent meal, but I was very disappointed. The beef was very dry and their soup tastes like canned soup.

Came here for a late lunch pre flight. Menu had decent options. Kids got burgers which were good, I was a little annoyed that they didn’t have a children’s menu so my 10 year old ordered a $ 13 regular burger. I had the chicken panini which was good but dry. I asked the waiter for some Greek dressing on the side, but he said they only had packets of ranch or Caesar. I declined. I ordered rice with my meal but it came with fries. I informed our lackluster waiter that I ordered rice, he went back to the computer to look up the order and came back and said no, I had ordered fries. I haven’t ordered fries since about 1987. He agreed to get me rice, but took away my entire plate while my companions dined and finally returned my plate five minutes later with the rice. He brought a check at the end with a written suggestion that he wanted 18 to 20 percent tip. I did not comply.

The food was mediocre at best but the service was atrocious, from the least cordial bartender this side of the Mississippi to the abrasive manager. The manager asked for my table to get up and sit at the bar because we have not ordered, so when we told her no waitress has come to our table in 20 minutes she just turned around instead of apologizing. After several more minutes of waiting, the waitress comes by(she was actually quite nice) and took our orders — the menu does not display drink prices for good reason($ 16 for a vodka soda). The food was clearly microwaved but was edible. Only reason this is two star is because I have lowered standards for restaurants at airports, but the«bistro» still failed to meet them.

Based on the bad reviews, my expectations were low. Maybe that’s why I found it to be better than edible… I ordered the hummus/tabbouli with the pita bread on the side(seriously, who wants hummus served already on the pita bread?), as well as the falafel appetizer. All of it was surprisingly tasty. Hot and crunchy falafel, and good flavors for the hummus/tabbouli too. It’s not the best Mediterranean I’ve ever had, but if I were stuck in this terminal waiting for a flight, I’d eat here again.

There is a wide selection. Salads looked good but I went with the gyro. It was not the biggest or best I ever had but it was tasty and way better than airline food. So now I don’t have to eat again on the plane. Price are reasonable all things considered.

Stay out of this place. Just go to the Irish pub across the seating area if you must. Horrible food, even worse service

We ate a light meal there on September 20, prior to our flight to Germany. The food was very tasty(we shared a hummus & pita appetizer and a falafel appetizer) and the prices were reasonable. Also, our server — Joseph S — was very friendly. However, it took FOREVER to get our food(we were sitting there for about *an hour*, and most of that time was spent waiting for the food).

First off, I would never have stopped here if my flight wasn’t delayed and SAS didn’t give us meal vouchers as compensation. That being said, the food is palatable, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. We got a caprese salad and a generic Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken. The caprese salad was just okay(mozzarella cheese was decent) and the Mediterranean salad(pseudo-Greek) was decent(though the chicken was quite dry). I also had a Hoegaarden that tasted a bit flat and that was disappointing. Overall, it’s palatable and would serve to fuel you if you truly needed it, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who enjoys their food and who has another option for food.

This is a slow placed operation at the food-court right outside the Terminal B departure gates. Here is the quick veggie take — if you are looking to eat something besides a sub sandwich or a fake veggie burger(typically without any patty but at the same price or even sometimes at a higher price), this places has some good grab-n-go options. I like the falafel sandwich they made — was warm and pressed using a panini-maker type grill. They also have some good fresh veggie and fruits juices options. My real issue is that for an airport fast-food place, it was slow. I was lucky that there was no queue, but really don’t know how the operations will scale if there were a long queue. So if you see no wait at the counter, go for it. You will taste the difference.

Chaotic with only a handful of customers. Half the food unavailable. Tastes are bland when it finally arrives. Avoid…

I don’t understand the previous two reviews. This place is in the food court and they offer Mediterranean dishes like pitas, hummus and other plates for about $ 10. They also have smoothies and raw juice. So, I go there to order a raw juice — carrots, apples, and beets. The staff — Tantanis is wearing rubber gloves as she handles the food. She asked me for my order, types it into the cash register with the gloves on, takes my card with the gloves on and then makes the juice with the same gloves. No beets. Just apples and carrots. She shovels them in with the exact same hand she did everything else. Then takes the gloves off, puts a cap on my drink and hands it to me with a straw. Gross. Obviously no common sense and I’m sure she could care less.

One Star reviews are incredibly rare for me. But this sad little bistro earned it. Unfortunately, there aren’t a ton of dining options in the Star Alliance International Departures area(SAS/Lufthansa/Swiss) of Terminal B. Everything here was painful. Drinks were forgotten. They were out of just about every beer on their menu(They listed Blue Moon as an «Import Beer»). The server had way too many tables to handle and the food was bland. If you find yourself flying SAS/Lufthansa/Swiss out of Newark, I recommend grabbing a bite beforehand to save the headache.

Burger was minimal– diner– esque– also waiter who assisted me was pushy when it came to tipping. He wanted an $ 8 tip on an $ 11.76 hamburger w/fries Would not recommend– go across the way to the Irish place. Thumbs down!
