Jarvis Coin Laundry

I lost $ 5.75 On a machine that wouldn’t start. The owner (a complete jerk) refused to give me my money back,
I had already moved my clothes to another machine because I could wait for him any longer.
When he came to fix the machine, he knew that my clothes were not in that machine any more and he started it any way instead of just opening it and getting my coins.
There are about 4 changing machines in here and when I put a $ 5 bill it gave me $ 4.60 back. Instead of 2 quarters I got 2 nickels.
This guy is creepy, he stares at women in a very sick way.
If you must use a coin operated laundry machine, please go somewhere else.

A friend of mine came here to wash a blanket and as she was waiting for her load to finish… the strangest thing occurred. A man who claimed that he was the owner blocked her way out grabbed her and forced her head into his groin area and caressed her back. Strange? Yes… Why he did it? No one knows… But I wouldn’t suggest for any women to be there alone. Seriously not a safe situation. Go some where else but if you have to go there I think if no one is around go wait in your car.

Desperately needed to do a lot of laundry and this place was close by.
It’s unmanned and an awkward layout and quite small as far as laundromats go, but it’s peaceful.
They don’t have any regular top loaders. only the side loaders in double and triple. they even have 2 monster industrial drums that I’ve never seen before. They look like they could wash 5 comforters at once.
Standard amenities, a few rolling baskets, restroom, detergent dispensers and coin changers.
Standard giant dryers at 25c for 6 min which is cheaper than my old place. Double load washers were 2.25 but I’m glad I could get a packed laundry basket and one bag into 3. probably could have done 2 but I wanted a really thorough wash. But wowee these washers are fast and my clothes clean. I picked up coffee and a snack over at Decoto and came back to done! I think this is the fastest laundromat yet. If you come come during a weekday and spread out your clothes to some extra dryers a bit you could probably be in and out in under 30 min if you fold at home. Probably an hour if you fold like me.
My only comment is not a drop off and go do errands place since its unattended. I left only cause I was starving and unprepared. I would bring a book and a snack and watch your laundry.
But so very peaceful. I like to fold my unmentionables in solitude thank you.
Hours are 6 – 9 every day last wash at 8.

I had a misfortune of having my dryer and washer breaking down so I was forced to seek a laundromat. Looking up Unilocal!,I saw this place and Namu’s review was positive so I gave it a try.
Overall my experience was alright. The place was a bit dirty but again most laundromats are. There were enough dryers and washers so I didn’t have to wait. People seem polite enough which is a good thing considering the crammed space of the place.
They had coin change machines but when I was there, those machines were out of coins so I had to drive to a Safeway down the road to get quarters.
There were also a vending machine for soap and such but since I brought my own, I didn’t give the machine a try.
Inside the place, there were only three chairs for sitting down. I saw people sitting in their cars and outside on curbs.
For washers, there were three sizes with their own prices so you can decide what you want. Dryers were large — I was able to fit 5 «normal» loads into one dryer.
Few minutes before I left, I could smell someone smoking from outside — it’s because people left two entrance doors open. Nothing could be done about that I suppose.
Before I left, I observed one worker cleaning machines so that’s good to know. I’ve seen better and worse places and since this place is a familiar one, I’ll be using it until my landlord finally get my washer and dryer fixed.
Unless I happen to find a laundromat with free wifi access and a small café, that is.
