This business is closed, but Unilocal won’t mark it as such. They did close for good. Not sure what the empty space is going to be now.

Food is made to order and DELICIOUS. I used to come here all the time when I went to the University after a night of drinking with my roommates. A lot of people don’t realize that they serve hoagies too which make for a good lunch or dinner option, especially if you order the combo or special of the day. My favorite thing to order is fried pickles, but their tots are also awesome. As far as the actual sliders go, the pulled pork is the best I’ve had in a long time, and I heard he makes it himself! Décor is lacking, but doesn’t affect the business overall. I suppose the owner does have to worry about drunk students breaking whatever he uses to decorate anyway.

I love Sliders! There is a huge selection on the menu and the owner is super friendly. It’s nice that you can order food and just sit at the bar and hang out. There is a TV so it gives you something to do while you eat your meal. Also a great place to go after a few drinks, as the food size is small enough for a snack instead of having to order a whole pizza or something

Food is always hot and fresh. Staff is always friendly. I appreciate a small businessman who stays involved. Jason is very responsive to customer complaints and comments. If something is wrong, tell him and he’ll fix it. I’m not the restaurant’s typical demographic and wish they would get a high-chair for my daughter. So be prepared if you bring your small children

Got a very nice note from the owner of Main Street Sliders(via Unilocal), seemingly sincere in his efforts to address the concerns I noted in my review. Doesn’t change the way I feel about my meal there, but I appreciate the independent business owner who is trying to make a go of it, along with the challenges of a less than predictable work force. Again — the food was pretty good. Hoping he can bring the ambiance up a notch or two –maybe I’d try it again. Notching up a star for effort! And again, I’m NOT the target audience for this place. I suspect 9 out of 10 college kids would have a very different perspective than mine!

Really looking forward to coming here. You don’t see many Slider joints around. The inside has a sit down counter with a few tables as well. The walls are almost bare. Needs some color or something. They do have a flat screen TV though. As for the food, I ordered 3 original sliders and a side of tots and a soda($ 6.75) As I looked at the plate, right away I knew what to expect. The buns were WAY to big for the little amount of meat. I don’t mind tiny burgers(White Castle, Krystal) and am very willing to accept them for the price, but don’t put a spoonful of meat and onions on a such thick bun. They don’t steam the buns or cook them on top of the burgers either. The taters however were crispy outside and soft inside, good. Friendly staff and ok place for a late snack but I was greatly disappointed in terms of what a Slider should be. You can go on YouTube, type in White Manna and watch how they cook a genuine slider. We need places like this. C’mon guys, you can do it!

As a student, I represent Main Street Sliders’ target audience. So far, their food has been the best part of my visits. The chicken parmesan and buffalo chicken sliders are particularly satisfying, and I’ve returned each weekend to reorder those sliders and their tater tots. However, the service is only average, and the inside of the restaurant is unappealing. The servers need to be more professional. They should not have personal items or receipts out on the counter. Also, the restaurant is severely lacking atmospherics, as there are no posters or decorations on the walls. Perhaps having music in the background would improve the experience. The glass front door must also be fixed. Main Street Sliders could become a target for students late at night, as it’s a welcome change from the various pizza places open on Main Street. But its central product(it’s food) needs to be buttressed by an improved interior and better service.

Totally delicious… reasonably priced(most sliders are $ 1.10 to $ 1.25, and they’re actually made to order) + delicious sides(fried pickles, tater tots, etc.) = this place rules! I just wish they served beer, if they did I would probably never leave. Service is quick & the employees are nice! Bring a few quarters with you if you want to use the parking meter($ 0.25 for every 12 minutes).

I’ll give this place one more chance, no more visits if their staff continues to be slow and disorganized. Me and my friend went visited and ordered separately. My order was ready after five minutes, his two plain sliders took an additional ten minutes. There was one group waiting for the three cooks and cashier to get their order of three sanitizers correct. I ordered a chicken parm, pulled pork and tots; my sliders were quite good, the bread melted in my mouth. The tots fell apart when i was eating them.
