Marv’s is in a run down newark shopping center nice selection of brew, mostly priced. brews seem cheaper than oaktown. micros come in 12 paks(14.99) many big bottle micros priced competitively pour: sol(32 oz, 4ish%?, 3.71 total) –smooth mex lager, hard to get a buzz. on draught: –friendly chit chat from clerk –would rate a 4 in oaktown. but the rent’s probably cheaper here.

Prices are higher for convenience, which is walking distance from my girlfriend’s house. Aren’t many deals to be had here.

Conveniently very close to my house. Within walking distance. Price is okay. It’s about convenience pretty much.

I’ve been stopping this liquor store for years. The first time I came here was with my neighbor when i was in elementary school. They had 10 cent popcorn and we thought it was the best thing ever! They still have the machine in there, but I don’t know if its up and running. The original owner«Marvs» sold it a few years ago, and nothing has really changed. Still the hole in the wall liquor store with nothing special about it. Not much to report about except the occasional alcohol that’s on sale…
