Michael Feinstein is a great optometrist. I’ve gone to him eye exams and contact lenses fitting. He is good with patients and I always feel comfortable going here. I would recommend him without hesitation. His office is also located in an accessible area in downtown Newark, so it’s easy to drop by if you work in the area.

The doctor is great and knows his stuff. His staff leaves much to be desired. I was met with rudeness and an attitude by one of the staff members just because I called them to ask for the whereabouts of my contact order. If I’m told it’ll take a day to get them and it takes 3 — I didn’t think a status phone call is unreasonable. Oh well — I’ll just go elsewhere next time.

I have been a patient of Doc when his office was in the back of Vision Center of Newark. Yes 20+ years I have being going to his office. He is an excellent Dr I trust no other person with my eye sight. I guess I should’ve ate my carrots when I was a kid. The staff is bilingual Spanish/​English Doc speaks English/​Business. The man is serious about your eyesight. He gives you the truth does not do anything just to fluff your bill. You will definitely need an appointment cause the place isn’t big around 10 chairs so have your mate wait in the car not enough room for extra people.
If you are driving double up so you can run in and the driver can circle the block like a vulture. Good thing too cause if you park in front of the building you will be paying the city of Newark a fine.

This doctor gives a lot of respect for his patients. He gets to know his patients and is honest with them. He doesn’t recommend unnecessary treatments for you. The wait time in get in to see him is very good. I got there at 1:30, and I was seen at 1:40.
