My wife ordered a vegetarian crêpe that was overlooked and greasy. She didn’t eat a bite of it and they wouldn’t take it off the bill

I really liked this place, the food here was adequately priced and the portions were great. The service was also pretty good, had their chopped and harvest salad and both was really good. The chicken noodle soup however was not to my liking.

I’m starting to be a regular here. Especially for breakfast. The omelettes are all good and my wife likes the crepes. We also come over at lunch from work. Good lunches.

Lots of parking, clean building. New inside, looks recently renovated. Attentive staff — host sat us, waiter got us drinks before we even opened the menu. Food(B’fast burrito and a Bacon Cheeseburger) was brought out FAST. Drink refills were offered 3 times(maybe 4). Food was good. Fresh, tasty, well presented, fast. Eggs were soft and fluffy, meat was not too dry or too oily, cheese was good. We both got sides of fruit — fruit was fresh, in-season, ripe and sweet. We got a side of onion rings thinking it would be a small plate — was huge! We couldn’t finish it, but they were great, and the ranch dressing was good too. Overall, I would recommend this place for a quick, fast, fresh and friendly lunch!

I have ordered here a few times and it seems like every time I always regret it. today I went with the Cordon Bleu yuck! never again, potatoes are all right I had to add salt and pepper had no flavor whatsoever they were cooked perfect though. Now for the Cordon Bleu I had it in the crêpe yes I knew I was taking a chance by trying something Different i’ll make sure not to make that mistake again it was very soggy, i feel like there wasn’t enough cheese inside of the crêpe it didn’t remind me of a Cordon Bleu I’m a cheese lover so I was expecting cheesiness in my crêpe. I was very disappointed I’ve always wanted to try this on their menu checked won’t be getting this again. Delivery is super fast that’s a really big plus for me.

This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Had to flagged down my waitress multiple times on a slow day. There were literally 2 other people in the restaurant, it was a Tuesday. It took over a hour for eggs, potatoes, and bacon to come to the table. I’ve also ordered food from this place and the cashier took my number down wrong so the delivery guy couldn’t contact me when he tried to deliver my food. 3 hours later I called the restaurant and they explained what happened. So I asked for a refund, which the manager told me he couldn’t do because the owner refused to give me my money back for food I never received. Didn’t even offer to bring me the food. Terrible place. I will never send the guest that stay at my hotel to this place.

My husband loves the breakfast burrito. This is the only place we found that serves it with gravy(my husband’s weakness). It’s also nice that they deliver. I’ve used it before for hang over mornings.

DECENTFAMILYDINER About a month ago after I came back from Tahoe I wanted to have dinner. The last time I came back from Tahoe last September I ate at Sinodino’s Restaurant for my birthday. I was craving for steak. Since the steaks are aged at Sinodino’s their steaks tend to be pricy. I didn’t want to pay too much steak. There was another place close to Sinodino’s that serves steak that isn’t aged. My Café Diner is a family run style restaurant. With all the trends of hipster style or food chain eateries in the suburbs it’s refreshing to see a simple, family diner. For a diner the menu seems abundance yet the items here are classic diner items not trendy or hipster. I came here for the steak in the case the porterhouse, which is my favorite cut of steak. I also ordered chicken wings and coleslaw in the side. For the steak dinner you get a side of salad and garlic bread. This seems like a filling dinner and it was. Even though the porterhouse isn’t aged I liked how it was cooked rare. The steak was moist and delicious. The porterhouse filled me really well. After a long drive from Tahoe it just made sense of going to a local diner near me where I can relax and eat.

Do not choose home-delivery, please improve food quality keeping in mind, some things are so overpriced This is my first review on EAT24, as an attempt to help others who want quality when it comes to food. Crepes were soggy, the Mediterranean crêpe was literally immersed in H20. That’s correct, the containers they use are not designed to deliver hot food. For one hour delivery window, the food should have been at least warm, if not hot. It was cold and soggy. The French fries were hard to chew and the patty melt was not appealing to me either. Now comes the desert BANANACREAMPIE, I really was looking forward to enjoy this one at least, but guess what the only thing that I could actually eat was whipped cream topping and of course the banana slices. The pie for me was SUPER undercooked or not well baked. Tasted like dough. I feel so bad for posting this negative review, which believe me or not is my first one ever, but the level of disappointment and dissatisfaction made me go ahead and post it. Total waste of my $ 45.

We came and was told to wait so I requested a menu to review. Hostess rather handing the menu in their hand pointed and stated you can pick one over there. The hostess is the first person to greet a customer and provide courtesies after all they’re the one that either makes or breaks the first impression. Breakfast was decent and efficient. Checkout was another disappointment. Waitress did not mention that selecting fruit was an extra charge and the fruit was one of the options from the medal I ordered and not a substitute. Diners can have mediocre food but if the staff have stellar customer service patrons are repeat customers. Unfortunately this restaurant lacks properly trained staff that can be attributed to management and ownership.

I’ve only had their fish and chips with an order of coleslaw delivered on three occasions. Meh, the coleslaw doesn’t really have any dressing and is sadly lacking in salt. The fish is quite good dense white fish. The fries are just fries not true«chips» and are coated in something, not sure what but they are thin and greasy. I really miss my H Salt Fish and Chips place at the HUB but alas no longer. That is the only true good fish and chips in my humble opinion. The delivery was fast and hot so no complaints there.

Very good food a really good prices. So glad that they have reopened again at nights. Haven’t had a bad breakfast, lunch or dinner here since moving to Newark in December. Staff is always nice, friendly and service is generally good.

I came here for breakfast and the food was decent. Service was friendly. Unfortunately they overcharged me by $ 10 which I didn’t find out until I saw the charge on my bank account. When i called to point out the error, they resolved it quickly and provided a refund. I appreciated the great customer service they provided.

I love this place. Typical breakfast café diner feel to it. The people are always nice and I love ordering their french toast combo :) They have a machine that makes fresh orange juice which was pretty tasty but expensive because it is fresh orange juice. I’ve ordered a few crepes and other foods from this location before. Something my boyfriend would recommend is the cheese blitz which he really loves and orders every time we go here! I’d recommend others to come to give their opinion. :)

This place is a standard diner joint. I’ve been here in person about 2 times since my dad lives nearby and it’s convenient, there’s a ton of parking and it’s located in the same shopping center as Home Depot. I wouldn’t personally go out of my way to dine here… but if my family invites me over for a quick bite, I don’t mind… HOWEVER… The best part about this place I think is the staff… It really feels like they care about you, and they have always been more than accommodating and friendly! Feels like family! Also, I’ve never really seen this place packed, so expect to be seated quite fast.

I’ve been here a few times for breakfast and will continue to do so if I’m in the area. Lately, I’ve been working out in the area and after a Saturday morning workout, a few of us are hungry and look for a place to eat. The café is easy to find as its on the corner of Thornton and Cedar right next to shell(in the Home Depot Parking lot). There is plenty of parking outside since its in the corner furthest away from home depot. When you walk in, it looks like any other café /diner with booths along the front on one side, a counter with stools in front of the kitchen, and larger tables in the back for larger groups. I’ve only ever had their breakfast here but it was solid. No complaints about the food and the service was always friendly and helpful. Their food is definitely better than Dennys but isn’t quite as good as the Country Way in Fremont or Baldies Café in Union City. Overall, I’d recommend coming here if you’re in the area and are looking for some breakfast

We came here with my cousins after a jog at Quarry lakes, Mom&Pops diner with great service big portions and good prices. The eggs Benedict was beautiful and amazing, huge side of hash-browns and the omelets were delicious I had the California one with veggies and meats and it had like half an avocado! We were celebrating a bday and they gave us a slice of sweet dense chocolate cake for free! We were stuffed and happy! It was quiet and you could talk comfortably. Will be going back. We tried each other plates all was great. Good coffee too. Old style 70s diner.

What can I say? It’s my café and it rocks !! ;) All kidding aside, it’s my go to spot in the tri-city area for brunch. They serve breakfast all day, yay !! The Eggs Benedict are consistently good. Two poached eggs atop thinly sliced black forest ham on a grilled English muffin, covered with a creamy Hollandaise sauce. Occasionally the yolks are not as runny as I would prefer, but nevertheless they keep me coming back for more. They are served with your choice of potatoes or fruit. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is awesome, so why not make it a Mimosa for $ 7.99? It includes a 6 oz. single serving of Cook’s Brut California Champagne. Keep the party going from last night or start a new one, yeah baby !!

Awesome café. Fresh home cooked food. From being a Sambo’s in the 70’s, and Baker’s Square after that, this spot’s now home to some decent grub. We went there on a Saturday evening, and were seated right away, as they were around half full. Most of the other customers were senior citizen couples. The menu was extensive, but they also handed us a separate sheet with specials with just enough items to choose from. I chose spaghetti and meat sauce, with chicken and rice soup as a side($ 14.78), while my guest had the prawns with baked potato, vegetables and salad($ 13.99). Garlic bread came with both meals. The spaghetti sauce was thick, hearty, and mildly spicy with large chunks of ground beef. The chicken and rice soup could’ve been been more stocky, with more chicken, but still was delectable slurping it down. The prawns were reportedly some of the best they’ve ever eaten. Hossna, our server, was very attentive, and never let my iced tea get down to less than half full. Good food at reasonable prices is enough to make me a repeat customer at My Café.
