Not bad, not great. I really only go here b/​c its location. Selection is average as is the price. Better bet is to go down to Suburban Liquors down the road (next to Acme). Best bet is to keep going, cross the state border and hit up State Line. That said, don’t be afraid to go here and it’ll serve your needs in a pinch.

Abominable service. The regulars hate to work there and the new guys don’t last long. Selection is limited compared to the larger store further south on Elkton road (next to the Acme). Go there instead.
I should be made to feel like an asshole just because you had to get out of your chair and ring me up.

Brooklyn, NY
Local liquor store run by a craggy dude whose diet is wholly nicotine-​based. Prices and selection aren’t the best, but he’s always trying to offload sixers of winners like Genny Cream, Hamm’s, Schmidt and Olympia at under $ 4. If you’re really desperate, he often has an ice can up front with 50 cent rando cans.
The place to buy in Newark, therefore.
