Ordered delivery, took forever (about an hour and a half) but they food is pretty good!

Stupid delivery guy was not in front of the right house food is gross I waited an hour and clearly said I want no onions and peppers waste of money

Bad attitude of manager, order a pizza and sent me another pizza which there as claimed and the manager tells me that if I forget myself so as … Very bad attitude and do not recommend anyone to does not pass through this hard time of a mediocre restaurant.

They get one star because the pizza was ok. I ordered a pizza at 10:30 PM and it took them an hour and forty-​five minutes to deliver. SERIOUSLY 1:45!!! They could have crawled the pizza over faster

The person on the phone was a real prick.
I make an order for a gyro, pizza and two sodas. What should cost around $ 17 suddenly goes to $ 24. Oh — «you pay cash» is the only option.
Told them to forget it.
Idiot tried calling me back too.
Avoid this place like the plague.

Lousy phone etiquette. Barely understandable. Mediocre pizza. But wait, there’s more…
55 minute delivery to my Spring Hill hotel 1.5 miles away. They told me 25 minutes.
2000’s Margherita pizza is nothing like a true Margherita. Not even close. I am certain this pizza, the recipe created for the namesake queen, would have embarrassed the Italian royalty. Maybe there was (fresh?) basil on 2000’s pizza, but if it was there it was hidden under the cheese. Hmmm. Fresh basil is integral to the recipe. Was that sliced (bufala) mozzarella on top? Don’t think so. I was hungry, however, so $ 15.50 for a large pie plus tip was kinda like semi-​enjoyable highway robbery.

At least the delivery driver was pleasant. It’s sad when the highlight of the experience is the delivery driver. He raised the bar from one star to two. (He scored extra props for his Phillies t-​shirt from this Philly fan.)
Would I order from 2000 again? Only if I had plenty of time to wait and I was desperate for meh pizza.

2 stars because I was really hungry and anything tastes good when you’re hungry.
But honestly I was disappointed. I ordered a cold
Sandwich and waited over an hour to get it and when I did the suspense for a good old New Jersey turkey sandwich extra mayo oil and extra vinegar. with the works BOOM. So I had nothing but juiciness on my mind… mannnnnnn when I saw the delivery guy pull up I could do a dance i was so hungry.
So I unraveled what looked like a perfectly good well put together turkey sandwich
Imagine my disappointment when I bit into what tasted like a rolled up loaf of bread. It was so dry I thought I was chewing chalk.

If I could put 0 stars I would. First to start off me and my friends are visiting from California we were hungry after a long day and didn’t get back to our room until 1am. So we ordered from Pizza 2000 no one else was open. I wish we would’ve just went to sleep and skipped eating here. First it took forever for my friend to get someone on the phone that could understand our order. Then after waiting an hour for our food the order was wrong and they still tried to charge us for all the food even though they were missing 2 items.
Not to mention the food we did receive was dry and my hot wings were baked wings with blue cheese on the side. I’ve never seen hot wings that were just baked with no sauce on them, Wth?!?
I was so angry so I called to complain to the manager only for her to tell me they had some new person and apologized and said she would talk to him. Yep! That doesn’t help us get our missing food or help the fact that the food we did receive taste like crap! Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here !!!

Would definitely put zero stars if I could! First off the person taking the order could not get it together. When the food was delivered they forgot two items that we
ordered. Then I had to call the place to make them recognize they were overcharging me. Both the manager and delivery guy apologized for the person taking the orders. Do yourself a favor… If it’s late just starve don’t order from here.

If I could put zero I would. We ordered and they went to the same address in a different town. Then they called and said they would be on their way to the correct address. After a hour of waiting I called the driver no answer. Then I called the restaurant and they said the driver came and called but we didn’t answer. He never called and we believe he was just lazy and didn’t want to deliver our food. Do not order it was a last option for us because it was the only thing open. Terrible service the person taking the orders hung up the phone on me after I asked him where my food was and told him the driver didn’t call.

I ordered a coupon deal on grubhub, two 14″ pies with one topping each for $ 16.
I called after an hour and 24 minutes had passed, the man I spoke with told me that my pizza was already on the way, which was reassuring, as the place is only a little under a mile from me. 26 minutes later it arrived. That timeline is exactly correct, I double checked my grubhub and phone call times as I wrote it.
The pizza was still close to oven hot when it arrived, so they must have not seen my order and then rushed it out when I called. That doesn’t bother me, it happens, whatever, but it would have been nice to have been told that so that I wasn’t wondering what happened again.
As far as the quality goes, it isn’t artisanal hipster masterpiece cuisine but it is $ 16 for two pies, I got what I expected and I was not disappointed. That and the very friendly delivery guy kept the place in three star range.

This place is so close to my new place. I moved to Newark right down the street from this place. I don’t live in Bloomfield. However I gotta agree that the pizza here is mediocre at best. But pizza is like sex: even bad pizza is kind of good. And the guy acted like he didn’t want to do the delivery when my friend asked for it. Bad first impression considering they’re across the street. I haven’t been back since.

Don’t do this to yourself. I’ve ordered wings and pizza from this place. Both were about the most awful examples of these foods.
The wings were supposed to be some kind of spicy/​zesty specialty sauce but they were unevenly baked dry wings with cheap BBQ sauce dribbled on and fat hanging off.
The pizza was just as dry and tasted like cardboard with burnt cheese on top. No seasoning, and the crust was too rubbery to eat.
Disgraceful quality.

I’m surprised at the other reviews, I ordered food from here late at night. The servings were huge and the eggplant parm that I ordered was delicious!

This place obviously preys on the hotel and business traveler who gets in late from flights and trains to Newark. What shame. Usually they are the only ones open around 11 pm and have essentially a monopoly on late night eats. the Hilton by Newark Penn Station stops serving food at 10pm so this is your only choice. I ordered the Gyro «Beef» and the spaghetti and meatballs after reading the pizza reviews, I decided to steer clear.
The Gyro was ok, meat was dry and tasted funny. The spaghetti and ‘meatballs’ consisted of lamb or something foreign, almost like a halal meatball. covered in white cheese or something. essentially pasta baked with pizza sauce and cheese with lamb dry meatballs. overall terrible. The owners are middle eastern, not a dig, just a fact. The food is gross.
I’d rather have dysentery than eat here again.

The worst pizza I’ve ever had. We called kind of late, maybe around 8:30, and they said it would take about 45 minutes. It took them an hour and a half. I kid you not, the pizza was a frozen pizza from Shop Rite that they put in the oven. AND it was $ 15.
Ridiculous. Never ever again.

I arrived to my hotel at about 12:30am. I was super hungry and this place was my only real option. I gave it a shot and around 12:57am i placed an order. Just a small pizza and some mozzarella sticks. Super simple so it could be super fast. that was a good though… right?
NOT!!! at 2:06am I called back to see what had happened and the guy that answered the phone seemed to have been surprised that I even called… I didn’t get my order until 2:40am!!! In other words your better off going to sleep! if i could do negative stars feed back I would give it a negative 4 stars…

The scene:
It’s 11:15pm. You just got off a flight. You are tired. You are at the Marriott of Newark Liberty Airport. You are freaking hungry. You look at the prices of room service and you shake your head «NO!». All major pizza places are closed and/​or won’t deliver.
The ONLY solution:
Pizza 2000.
The Result:
They deliver in 35 mins. It’s food. It’s cheap (compared to room service). You are victorious.
