The subs are delicious! The chicken cutlet sub is finger licking good!

They have the best«Penne la vodka» Pasta in the town. I have tried few other places too for Penne la Vodka but I think they have the best one. I always get the extra sauce on the side, it’s that good! Their food is always fresh and good! Great place to try it out.

When I came to Roberts before, I just didn’t know What to order. They make the best subs I’ve ever had. They deliver on time, the trick is to order early. I ordered lunch at 10:30 and I got it in time for lunch. I say five stars all the way.

Good pizza fast service and good atmosphere, the prices are also not very expensive, very affordable and worth it for a quick stop

The Strombolis here are perfect! Just the right crispiness on the outside with mouthwatering fillings. And, they’re huge. My favorite is the chicken, tomato, and mozzarella. YUM!

Haven’t even tried the food because I’ve been waiting for my burger and fries for about 20 minutes. I was told ‘hamburger takes some time’. Another lady is simply waiting for some French fries and it is taking forever. Not worth the $ 10.

This was a nice small pizzeria. The staff was friendly and delivered my food to the table when it was ready. My order was ready quickly. I just ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza($ 5?). The crust was very thin and they were light on the tomato sauce. The size of the slices were acceptable. I enjoyed the sauce and the pizza was cooked to my liking. The cheese was just right and there was plenty of pepperoni slices. Will I go back? Yeah, sure.

Roberts is amazing. That’s the only experience I’ve had there in the 3 years I’ve been coming. The foods always delicious. Anything from the pizzas to the pasta, sandwiches or wraps, you can’t miss. Plus, they’re very affordable and the portions are quite generous. They bring in a nice crowd for both lunch and dinner time which is nice to see. Keep it up!

If you love Baked Ziti, Robert’s is the place to get it. The pasta is great. The sauce has a nice fresh tomato taste. You’ll get a nice piece of fresh bread on the side. The pizza is okay. It’s a little too garlicky for me. Customer service is very good.

The food is really good. The staff is really nice. It seems like everyone works hard as a team. They take their time and everything tastes fresh. The prices are unbeatable. I’ve tried the ziti, the chicken parm, chicken tenders, the clam chowder and a few different pizzas. They have a chicken caesar salad slice that they make sometimes that is good, also the buffalo chicken and ranch is probably the most popular. The only downside to this place is how crowded it gets during lunch. Be prepared to wait on average 15 minutes if your getting pasta or any other specialty. The pizza is already made, so slices take about 5 minutes to be warmed. Overall this place is the best bang for your buck in University Heights with great food!

This is a decent little pizza shop slightly off campus. A much better alternative to eating at the campus cafeteria or a Sbarro. They have an array of pizza choices, buffalo chicken is quite good as is their vegetable toppings. They also have sandwiches and pasta dishes but I usually just come in for a slice or two. They have a deal known eponymously as «The Deal» which is two plain slices and a cam of soda/bottled water. Staff are okay. Once or twice they have made some off color jokes while waiting for food which took me by surprise. All in all a nice place.

Great location for Rutgers students and nearby businesses to grab a bite. This place is known for it’s pizza and they do have lunch specials. I definitely like their pizza a lot, had the chicken cesear salad and the chicken was definitely weird, almost not fresh. I’ve also eaten their baked ziti which was fantastic. One negative is their hours of operation. They close early and barely are open on weekends.

I used to work around the corner so we were constantly buying food here for the office. They have always been friendly. They used to make these buffalo chicken empanadas that were amaze balls! Their garlic bread is delicious as well! Their pizza is really good. In my opinion it’s the best downtown newark. I haven’t experimented with the menu too much but from what I’ve seen it looks pretty goods

Roberts is a convenient spot to stop in for a slice in between classes. The plain slices are generously sized and decent in taste. I also enjoy the vodka sauce and chicken slice. What this place lacks is a full menu, there isn’t very much to choose from and the specialty slices are usually the same day in and day out. Secondly, it’s pretty pricy at over 3 dollars per speciality slice. Lastly one of my huge complaints is having a minimum charge to use plastic, seriously? I don’t like to carry cash around and there is no way that I’m paying 3 dollars for an atm fee. It’s 2013 suck it up and pay the small transaction fee to process a credit card, I know the students would definitely be grateful.

Food is okay but overpriced! This is fast food so they need to start charging fast food prices. It gets packed early when kids are in school.

Full disclosure-this review is based solely on ONE slice of pizza so I am sure I am going to re-review at some point in the near future. Stopped in at about noon recently to get a quick bite and just ordered a slice to go. I was in and out in less than three minutes. «HI! Can I help you?» «Yeah, can I get one slice to go?» «Sure. That’s $ 2» Turns and tosses an already warm slice in the oven… waits about 60 seconds, takes it out, bags it and says«Have a great day!» «You too» and I walk out the door. Got in my car and dove into my slice… it tasted good, I liked the cheese and the sauce was ok, but I didn’t like the crust… but I can’t find the words to explain ‘why’ other than it was missing something-didn’t add any flavor to the slice. Counter staff was friendly, place looked pretty clean, there were a bunch of people sitting at tables eating, but the slice didn’t bowl me over. I will definitely give them another shot… too many good reviews to not try again_going back soon!
