My family and I were visiting family here and wanted to wash our clothes before we left. This is a very visible establishment when riding down Central Ave. Apparently this place is new. We came around 2pm on a Friday. It has its own parking lot.
It’s spacious, attended (by 1 female that I saw) and clean. They have tables and stools that remind me of a fast food restaurant (the coin cups are McDonalads cups). You have to be buzzed into the bathrooms.
There are 76 dryers and 70 washing machines give or take a couple.
I saw $ 1.75(20lb), $ 4 & $ 5 washers.
Dryers are $ 0.25/10mins. They get decently hot.
The place is monitored really well. You can see the TVs with footage at the front desk. There are 5 flat screen TVs up on the walls.
There is an ATM, detergent machine, & drink and snack machines. They also have a few sinks around the place for hand washing.
They also have free Wi-Fi that is actually good.
As far as Newark goes… This is a great laundromat.
