Good food, but do not recommend if you want a to go order. We asked to make one of the dishes saucy, but it ended up being really dry. And it was not bagged properly. The plastic to go boxes they use is CHEAP! It ended up spilling inside the bag and it was a disaster and mess.

Fast delivery but prices are too high. Good portions and I love the green bean chicken. Limited seating and a bit noisy for eating in.

We’ve ordered take-out twice from this place and love it! We’ve had: Veggie Fried Rice(LOVE), Sweet n Sour pork(Crispy and seasoned well), Lemon Chicken(great batter), Mixed Veggies(nice and crunchy and not overdone), Veggie Chow Mein(yummy but a tad spicy), Garlic Brocolli(spicy, even tho it said mild). The service was great and they’re very sweet.

The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is because Chef Chu’s in Los Altos is my absolute favorite Chinese food restaurant. This place was so delicious. Freshly made, good service now that I live in the East Bay it’s definitely my go to place for Chinese food!

We ordered delivery again, this time trying the chicken with black bean sauce along with the same bbq pork chow mein and fried rice as before. I really liked it, we got it the spiciest and that was perfect. My only issue is after 3 dishes and tax and delivery it comes out to ~$ 30. We were all set to order from another chinese place with the exact same dishes for $ 18, but unfortunately they didn’t deliver to our area. After seeing the cost at other similar places, the prices here bum me out. The food is your standard americanized-chinese food, it isn’t amazing. Doesn’t really seem worth it and we’ll probably look to order from a different place next time(when we’re not starving and unable to make decisions: P)

I wish it was in a better location(unfortunately, many of the spaces in this plaza are empty), but this place is pretty good. The food tastes good and the portions are generous. Most folks pick up their orders to go. There is seating inside(about 8 tables) but it’s kind of loud with the kitchen being close to the dining area.

I have never been to the restaurant, but have ordered delivery over 4 times. The food is okay, nothing special about their dishes. I love that they are fast and food shows up hot. Even though it estimates 45 – 60 min delivery, I always usually get my food within 30 mins or so. That is a huge convenience when I don’t feel like going out or cooking. However, I was rather perturbed tonight when I got my last delivery order. I usually always tip, for every service I use. This was the only time I did not have a tip ready as I was low on cash and a delivery fee is already charged. The guy comes and slivers the food and has me sign the approval receipt. I sign and give it back to him. He then asks me if I have a tip for him. This is the first time I have EVER been asked for a tip for delivery. First off, tips are OPTIONAL, not mandatory. He has the audacity to ask me for money when it is up to my discretion to provide. Then, he asked if I knew the protocol and that I should tip. So I looked around in my wallet(remember I didnt have a lot of cash lying around). I only had $ 2 which he happily took and finally left my door How rude of him to ask for a tip. My mom has worked in the service industry her entire life and should has never blatantly requested a tip ever in her life. It was rude and cheap of the guy to ask. Remember, tips are optional and up to the customers discretion. I will not be ordering again.

This is a solid 4 star You would not think this place would be anything good but once you’ve tasted the food you will know you are wrong. The food is great! The best dishes are already on the other Unilocal reviews just follow what they have no need to try others. Key to these restaurants is how often one fish is sold out… so they order new fresh ingredients. Yes … they are very FOB. You should expect that. a Chinese restaurant with Chinese chiefs! As you walk in you will see NOONE eating in; that is because this place is a takeout spot. Food is why you come NOT where you take your date. Take your date to Alexander’s Steakhouse and take this food back to your dinner table. Just serve it on your own fancy dinner plates … I promise you won’t event tell the difference between this food vs fancy over priced dishes at a restaurant with waiters.

Local chinese food that’s finally getting some attention. They offer very tasty dishes from honey walnut prawns to their hot sour soup. The General Tso’s chicken is my favorite… crunchy and jalapeño spicy

Avoid this place, I got food poisoning the morning after eating dinner here. Do not order the chow fun the chicken has the consistency of mush and is probably what made me sick. You’ve been warned.

This place has good food but I can’t give it 5 stars. You can’t get the fried rice instead of white when you order the dinner plate(comes with soup, fried wontons i think etc). Don’t know about the lunch plate but my guess is no substitution either. I have to skip the dinner plate and order the fried rice cause how can you have Chinese food without fried rice?! But now i have to order another plate cause i can’t have my fried rice by itself! That is too much food and extremely over priced for one person. That’s at least $ 20. I don’t understand why i can’t have fried rice, even if i pay $ 1 or so for the substitution. Also, DON’T CRAVETHISDELICIOUSFOODONMONDAYS. I have made the 30 min drive to satisfy my chinese food craving after a hard busy Monday at work and have been greatly disappointed. I am ashamed of this but I almost cried the last time(how could I forget they’re closed). Yes, they’re CLOSEDONMONDAY’S.

1st thing: Unilocal shows these guys on the wrong side of the mall. They are in a little strip mall with hometown buffet and a yoga place. They are not over by citibank Service was prompt. Food was ok. They charge for white rice, in addition to the entrée, which always annoys me. Family owned, I’m assuming. All the grown ups working behind the counter while all their kids take up table space with toys and games

Overheard my father talking to one of my uncles, saying that he really doesn’t feel like cooking, but that in this generally bad weather we’re having, he doesn’t feel like going out, either. But he REALLY wants Chinese. In comes Unilocal to save the day! I searched for Chinese places near us that happen to also deliver — up pops Tasty Restaurant. Looking over the menu and seeing the pictures associated with it gives me good vibes — I’m pretty sure this is the exact place my two hermit friends order from every time they want Chinese. I call my father over, he starts picking out what he wants. We end with a four-piece order of eggrolls, and one order each of the HONEYWALNUTPRAWNS, broccoli beef, cashew chicken, shrimp chow mein, and combo fried rice. The bill? after tax, delivery charge and tip… $ 67 and some change. PRICY. «Better be worth it,» he says. I place the order, we get the email, and we’re given an estimate of 45 – 60 minutes before delivery. 1. Our food came at the 35-minute mark. Very nice! If I had had cash on me, I would have given the driver an extra tip. 2. Notice how I capitalized the honey walnut prawns? THISWASTHEBESTPART. Nearly everything was delicious, but those prawns are PHENOMENAL. 3. We still have leftover chow mein, broccoli beef and cashew chicken. Portion sizes are pretty generous(though I would have loved more prawns). Could have easily fed 4+ people. Only drawback? The cashew chicken wasn’t as tasty as we had hoped it would be(Dad LOVES cashew chicken). The chicken in the dish was a little rubbery as well(though just fine in the rice). We’ll definitely be ordering from Tasty Restaurant again, but we’ll probably skip out on the cashew chicken next time around.

Ordered broccoli + shrimp and side of rice. It was a short wait and they didn’t skimp out, which is good, but it’s hard to judge overall quality of their food just based off this one dish. Price is a bit expensive.(3.5 stars) However, the cashier saw that I didn’t notice the«$ 20 minimum sign» as worry spread all over my face and I flipped open the menu again after ordering, and was like, «you don’t have any cash, huh? It’s coo» so I wanna give 5 stars for her kindness! Yaaay A+++ :D

Their chow mein is definitely the tastiest chow mein I’ve had! A must on all our birthdays for good luck. Their salt and pepper fish is pretty good too.

Called in my order to be delivered and although it took FOREVER… the food was worth the wait. I ordered the shrimp chow mein, sweet and sour chicken and mongolian beef. I don’t know if it was that I was so hungry by the time the food arrived or what… but the chow main was one of the best I’ve had. I placed my order using the Unilocal app and used their weekend coupon so the delivery was basically free. Will probably order again, but this time with about an hour and a half anticipation.

Came here because my husband and kids kept telling me this place was great. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, beef fried rice, chicken chow mein and beef broccoli. I have to admit it’s pretty tasty. I really liked the chow mein and sweet and sour chicken. Kids loved it but my pocket not so much. Over $ 42 bucks. Maybe next time I’ll get their lunch special.

Service wa friendly and they were prompt. I placed a to-go order and they cooked it on the spot. Everything was piping hot. Kung pao chicken extra spicy– my favorite dish at this place. I liked their mushrooms, wish they would have added more. Chicken fried rice– it really was tasty and I would recommend. Salt and pepper fish– it was good, but just a tad too greasy for my taste. When in the mood for Chinese I’d def come back!
