Very bad service. They kept us waiting for more than half an hour after taking our order. We pushed them but they said ruthlessly that was how they ran the business. Very disappointed. I would never come to this TLT.

Food is good but not consistent. Talk about employees being rude. They chased us for the tip and ask us if we werent satisfied with the service! And i mean come on! The reason why u got that kind of tip is becuase we werent happy with the service!

Tit Bbq, I really wanted to like you but you’re the asian college drop out of bbq stewer restaurants. I arrived to a sticky table and menu that direly needed cleaning. Mustering up all the strength in me to overcome my fear of the dirty menu, i proceed to mark off the food items I desired. Food arrives in a random order to the point where you cant be too sure if everything you ordered came out. I blindly put my trust in the word of my waiter to identify the unknown piece of meats that came. The meats had a potential to be good but are completely overpowered by the house spices, I couldn’t taste the animal that I ordered. About a quarter into the meal I gave up trying to eat the food because it felt like i was eating a spiced chew toys. If the owner is reading this, please spend more time in prepping and balancing the meat instead of overpowering it and calling it bbq. I really tried hard to give this place the benefit of the doubt but I hope to never cross paths with tit again. Worst tit in my life.

Comparing to the old place, this TLTBBQ has some improvement in terms of the environment, but the quality of the food has actually gone down. Their lamb skewers used to be famous, and indeed they deserved that rep. The meat were tender and tasty. Nowadays, this is no longer the case: typically the skewers are overcooked(this never happened to me in the old TLT place), sometimes, the meat on the bottom of the skewers were under cooked to half-raw. The other items on the menu have been the same. Frankly, this new gig has a better environment at 80% the food quality of its previous location. I visit it less often now, but make no mistake, it is the among the best place for those who craves a BBQ lamb the classic Chinese style, plus beer.

It’s been a long while since I’ve been here and looks like it’s run by new staff and new owner. Over all, I do remember some light differences. One differece is that you get to mark on a plastic erasable sheet on what you want to order and how many, at least there still the picture menu from the previous owner that they still uses. So what did I come in for? Let’s see, I order some chickens, A-chay, green bean and a spicy salad… wait a minute… they are all spicy! But it’s ok, I like spicy food! If you’re not into spicy, you better tell them that you don’t want it spicy, like I do for my 3 year old son. By default, you will get it spicy, You Are Warned! So how does it taste? Well, they’re ok. Not too bad, but I think they’re still better compare to some others places I’ve been to. Anything better then gas cook is what I think. The chicken skewers seems a bit more over cooked compare to the previous owner of this place. The A-Chay and green beens where fine, I think it tasted a little sweet and spicy. As for the Salad, I still like it, but it’s not as tall as the ones from the previous owner. So would I come back again? Sure, I’ll come again, the staff were nice to me that day. Everything was just fine, but I do think they should smile more. It makes my food tasted so much better =)

It’s dose really bother me from TLT to TIT, I actually feel that the new owner has a better service. Food is still good, and they added more items on the new menu. Recommend the beef and mushroom!

Good bbq joint with nice cumin spicy flavored meats. Inexpensive and fast. BUT i had a major MSG headache after eating here. and had to gulp a ton of water down to relieve the pain. We ordered the grilled eggplant, lamb, beef, chicken hearts, chicken liver, a-vegetable(not sure what it was), shrimp, steamed egg, and fried rice. All very tasty. If it wasn’t for the MSG headache would easily be a 4 star for me. Be careful MSG headaches are no fun.

I’m a regular at this place and I prefer ordering togo because the environment is not very good. Far as I know the original TLT owner opened a new TLT in San Mateo and Fremont. This is still the original location of TLT but with new owner now. I tried the San Mateo store and it is by far the best taste of it all. Yet This store is closer to my house so I’m kinda stick. Service wise, it’s much quicker then before. They accepting adding order while eating in store, and fast togo

I don’t know why, but I still coming back for more. From TLT to TIT. This time I didn’t get spicy since the lady server said you can have NO spicy. Beef with no spicy is very tasty! I ordered the second time after i tried the non-spicy version. This is the first time i order NON-spicy! I ordered lamb rib, beef tripe, chicken skin(which i have never tried before.) Love every piece of the meat and skins since they have no spicy option for me. My favorite is lamb rib, and I will coming back for more. For service, not the best, but since their food improve more and they have no spicy option for me. I am very happy! Will come back again!

I am a regular at this place and I mostly order veggie items(eggplant, yam — called crucian for some strange fob reason, chives, A tsai, and mushroom). I also love the squid and fish skewers, as well as the beef tendon. I also have tried other skewer establishments, including the original which has now located to another city in the Tri-City area, not in Newark or Union City so take a guess, and I think this joint does it the best. The seasoning may be heavy-handed sometimes but it’s easier to brush excess off than to add more(because I’m lazy like that). The service, imo, is pretty good. I’m probably biased because I am a regular and because I am a nice customer, meaning I ask for things nicely and preface every request with«Sorry to bother you» like a good Asian kid. But hey, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, and by flies, I mean skewered food items and water and extra utensils.

They added some items to our order without telling us! Twice tonight!!! The table next to us has the same problem. I wish we can can give them a –2 stars. 他们自动给我们加了很多我们没点的东西!

As many loyal TLT-ers know, the original TLT owners opened one in San Mateo and now on Bay Street in Fremont. TIT, on the other hand, is still good. The food isn’t consistent but when it’s good, it’s really good. My favorite non-skewer items are the wonton soup, cold noodle soup, and cold seaweed appetizer. My favorite skewers are: beef tendon, steamed buns, a-veggie, mushroom, potato, lamb, chicken, beef, chicken wings, and squid. The recommendation is to order all you want upfront because if it’s a busy night and you want to order any additional items, it could take around 30 minutes. I’m warning you now so you don’t do something like that and get your panties in a bunch.
