I just started eating my scooped and toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, capers, onion and smoked salmon. Wonderful surprise for a Monday morning EWR layover. Yes, I’ve had better salmon, but this experience has been great. Service was very personalized and he made my meal just as I wanted it. By far the closest to Essa bagel I’ll get for a while.

Always In a mood for lobster roll… So yes it’s pricey and yes it was worth it. Would say I would do it again no but I am also glad I did … I was pleasantly surprised especially since I was at an airport !

Well, I had a different experience from the others who reviewed this takeaway place. I was looking for a somewhat healthful snack to take on the plane that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. I noticed they had salads by the ¼ and ½ lb and the macaroni salad really looked good. I ordered ¼ lb and for $ 4.25, I got a nice container-full of really delicious macaroni salad that really hit the spot when I ordered my tomato juice 2 hrs into the flight. Seriously, I want to get their recipe since I thought it was great. And the service to order it was fine – not too crowded that day, I guess.

Spent $ 5 on a bagel and waited 20 minutes. What I got was a half toasted bagel with a teaspoon of cream cheese. They didn’t even add the tomatoes I asked for so they threw two slices in the bag when I walked back! Please do yourself a favor and save the aggravation before a flight — do not patronize this place. They are understaffed and the staff they have don’t care whatsoever.

Yet a new eatery at the ever-changing face of Terminal C at Newark airport. I’m only giving stars to the star of the place… the food. The New England Chowder is tasty but be prepared to pay $ 10. I took the lobster roll to-go. Still pondering how I’m gonna eat that in my coach seat. It wasn’t cheap, $ 37 dollars later with the water,
