These guys are simply the best. Allen Cline cut my hair. He gave me a cut and style that suits me perfectly. I would never have know what to ask for. In His initial consultation, we chatted about what I do and what I like and don’t like about me hair. He made recommendations and executed a great style. He also recommended products and give me a how to session on styling and care. At 50, no stylist has ever done this for me. Thanks Allen!

I recently moved from California and rely on Unilocal for some things. I read the reviews on Unilocal and decided to make an appointment for Saturday at 12:30. I am new to the area so I arrived exactly at 12:30. When I told the receptionist that I had an appointment, she turned to talk to the another girl, and I didn’t know if she was going to call someone or if I had to get a seat an wait. After standing there awkwardly for a few seconds, another customer arrived and then she told both of us to take a seat. Shortly after KELLY showed up. She took me to wash my hair and then to her station. She was really nice, she asked a lot of small talk questions, and overall made me feel welcome. The salon itself is very inviting and inclusive and overall has a great atmosphere. Good job. Now to the haircut though. I told her that I have been trying to grow my hair since I got a Pixie cut in 2011, and that I wanted a ONE length medium BOB. Also, since I have a lot of hair, I told her I wanted her to thin it out and take some weight off. I mentioned that I didn’t want any layers a few times. I had one layer in the back that was about half an inch shorter than the rest of my hair. I have been waiting for that layer to grow long enough to get an even cut at my shoulders. She started cutting my hair wet and started cutting a little bit of the length, but it was okay because I could finally have a one length bob. Then she proceeded to dry my hair. Once she was done drying my hair she said, «now the real haircut.» She started cutting and told me that I had very healthy hair. She was pulling sections of my hair up above my head to cut them. When they started falling as she let them go, I noticed that there was a thick layer on the outside that was cut up to right below my ears! If I part my hair in the middle, you can see a layer right below my ears and the rest of my hair a little above my shoulders. We started talking about it, and I told her that I said I did not want layers. She tried to tell me that those were not layers and that the shorter hair should go to the back of my head. But I often wear my hair parted in the middle and falling straight down. If I wear it like that, there is a two Inch difference between the outside layer of my hair and the rest of my hair. It looks like a long mullet(google long mullet, you will find my haircut). I can’t even easily wear a pony tail because the front part of the short layer falls out. I have to use bobby pins to hold it back. She asked me If I wanted to get the bottom layer cut to the length of the shorter layer. I was in shock, I could not believe it. I said«I just want to go.» Then she asked me if I wanted someone else to see it, and I said again, «I just want to go.» As I was taking off the cape, she asked me if I wanted the owner of the salon to look at it, and I left. There was nothing they could do. My hair was chopped up to right below my ears, and I have to wait another year or more for it to get to the one length I want again.

my 10 year old daughter went to this salon last weekend to get her hair done for my brothers wedding. being a hairstylist myself I was at the brides mothers house doing the entire bridal parties hair. my mom and sisters and daughter went to this salon to get their hair done, since I was tied up myself with 8 girls in the bridal party. the stylist who was doing my daughters hair at this salon AGGRESSIVELY brushed my daughters long blonde hair SOHARD the the entire top layers of her almost waist length hair is ripped and broken now sticking out and fuzzy about 7 inches long. my daughter came back and told me they hurt and ripped her hair so hard with the brush. and we’re even rude to her saying ugh is your hair ALWAYS this knotty. I being a stylist myself in the industry understands and knows that you CANNOT aggressively tear through hair roughly to get tangles out because this will most definatly rip hair apart. over the ten years of being a hairstylist myself I have worked alongside some of the biggest icons in the industry including Oribe Canales(Oribe haircare) Michael O’Rourke(Sexy Hair) Beth Minardi(colorist guru) Phillip Wilson(color proof), Brig van ostin(shear genius season 3 winner) and numerous backstage shows in Los Angeles & New York fashion week… & I can attest the NOSTYLISTINYHEIRRIGHTMINDWOULDEVERBRUSHSOMEONESHAIRINTHISAGGRESSIVEMANNER as to rip and break their hair like they did to my daughters. I understand the little kids hair can be aggrivating and annoying because of tangles but the comes with the territory. HAVEPATIENCEANDDOITRIGHTORDONTDOITATALL. perhaps if the management or owner had given me the simple curtesy of returning my numerous phone calls asking to speak with them then I might not be writing this review right now. but three days and two phone calls later and still no reply from anyone I’ve come to my last resort to publish this review. shame on the manager the owner for not returning a call and the rude receptionist who told me hairstyles can’t break people’s hair. word of advice for anyone thinking of going to this salon… be very mindful and make sure your stylist isn’t aggravated the day you go lest you may walk out with their aggression showing in your broken hair. –david mccarthy

I would definitely recommend the services here. I made an appointment with aims, she was so wonderful! She took the time to ask what is was I wanted and did everything herself. From start to finish she was the one that did everything. Did I mention that I love love love my hair? If you need anything done to your hair… Do see some, u won’t regret it

I’m from the San Francisco Bay Area, but was visiting a friend in Newark, DE last week. I was in desperate need for a mani, so my friend booked us both appointments at Trilogy. I think the woman who did my mani was named Sharon — she may have been one of the owners. Not sure. Either way, Sharon was very nice and did a great job, so I felt like leaving some positive feedback via Unilocal was the right thing to do. Thanks!

Looking for the best nail job in Delaware? The world? You have to go to Iman! She is such a perfectionist when it comes to your nails and gets everything that’s not supposed to be there and masterfully paints perfect nails every time. She never does a half way job. She’s also on point with color matching! Wish I could come all the time.

Bobbi is the best at Brazilians… will never go to anyone else. Having a Brazilian is very personal and I have had some not-so-great experiences but, not with Bobbi. She has a way of making you feel comfortable right away and she does a very thorough job while chatting the entire time. She has also done my daughters arm pits and eyebrows and we were very satisfied with both. The salon is very nice and the waiting area comfortable. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes and scheduling with them has been easy, as well. Highly recommend.

I was in from out of town and needed my last(bad) nail job replaced. I tried Trilogy based on Unilocal, and was not disappointed. As I walk in I couldn’t get an appointment same day but I was so impressed with the salon upon walking in that I made an appointment for the next day. The salon owner consulted with me to make sure they could do what I wanted prior to me booking. Iman was my nail tech, and she was fabulous! Professional, fussy, meticulous and a joy to talk to. I wish I lived closer as this would definitely be my salon of choice.

Siri got me here without a problem from Wilmington. The front desk was polite, made me fill out a form(as it was my first time there), and I waited a few minutes before my masseuse came out to greet me. The atmosphere, while busy on a Saturday, was soft, quiet, and friendly. There was a gentle buzz around the place with low talking — it was nice. The room itself was located near the back, more quiet, with a nice lowly lit ambiance. It was very meditative — the music, for me, wasn’t cheesy relaxation music — I actually really enjoyed it. The smell was vaguely vanilla, nothing overpowering, especially the oil my masseuse used. I got 60 minutes of a rubdown — could’ve easily gone 90 — and in the middle of it all, I remembered how much I liked my neck and back touched. So I’ll specify that more next time — that over my arms, for example. Not bad for the price.

I have been going to Trilogy for several years now for my pedicure services. The technicians are wonderful(Chrissy, Tiffany, and Oman — sorry… I’m sure I misspelled your name!). They are all super sweet and do a great job. I have terrible feet and they are very sweet and very thorough in their service. The spa is a nice, tranquil place to spend a few moments to myself. Thank you ladies for providing a quiet, restful, and inviting environment for my few rare moments of pampering! I appreciate the spa’s «no child» policy as the spa is a place where I don’t want to have to worry about other children crying or making other sweet, wonderful(but not tranquil) noises.

I am a New Yorker, originally from Delaware, who is very picky about her hair! I was looking at my friends hair colors on Facebook and found a girl whose color I liked. She told me she went to Randy and Megan(a fabulous duo) at Trilogy Salon. I trusted that they could make my color look like hers. When I arrived, Randy patiently let me describe exactly what I was looking for. I showed pictures and we talked in depth. He really explained to me how coloring/highlighting works and how he was going to be able to achieve what I was looking for/get close to it. He was very realistic and wanted me to understand exactly what I was getting so that I couldn’t be disappointed at the end. Sure enough, he and Megan(who does the actual foiling part) took me from a full brunette to an almost all over blonde! I am so happy with it that I am back for my touch up right now(my first time here was a few months ago). I highly recommend this duo at Trilogy. I come a 2.5 hr drive from NEWYORKCITY just to get my color done :)

I am a hair style fanatic and very picky about how my hair is cut. Being new to the area and not wanting to drive to Baltimore or Philly unless I had a great recommendation, I happened by this store while running errands and decided to make an appointment. I told the receptionist I tend towards choppy shorter bobs, and she said Liz would be good stylist for me. The day of my appointment on a Saturday I arrived a little early and was a bit nervous to see only older people in the waiting area of the salon. When Liz came out I was relieved to see she was younger, and started to discuss what I do and don’t like in haircuts. I definitely felt like she spent the time getting to know my concerns and how much time I do(or in my case don’t) want to put into maintenance. The cut was a little off but she corrected it promptly, and I have received many compliments on how cute it is. The price is similar to any spa/salon, they carry a good variety of brands of hair products, and getting in to an appointment seems to be fairly quick.
