STAYAWAYFROMTHESUSHI! I love sushi, however, if this place had been my first experience with sushi, I would never become a fan. Other than that the food is, OKAY especially when your in an hurry and searching for a healthier alternative.

The name sounds like it’s American Salad cuisine, but it’s pretty much an Asian food buffet(heavy on the Korean food) with a few salad items. Once you go in, you basically pick between a plate(for dining in) or a to-go container. You get your food from the buffet square, take it up to the register, and then bring it to one of the tables. They will give you utensils, napkins and a tray if you are dining in. Have to ask for chop sticks. Most of the food looks and tastes like it’s been sitting for two long, and the price per pound of food is not cheap(although also not egregiously expensive either). I think it was about $ 4.49 or $ 5.19 per pound. There are quite a few vegetarian dishes, but nothing that looks too fresh. There are also a few noodle dishes that are decent(since it is difficult to mess that up and it does better than most other foods when sitting) The dishes I tend to get are the fried chicken(sometimes overcooked bc it is just sitting under the heat lamp) or the chicken teriyaki. Every once in a while, they will have the Chinese Marinated Pork ribs, which tastes pretty good for being in Newark. Bad thing is that these are the type of ribs with a little bit of tender meat wrapped around a large piece of bone… which… when you’re paying by the pound makes this dish VERY expensive. I think that this place is a good choice for groups of people who all want to eat different things since there usually is something for everyone, but overall, the food is nothing special.
