«If the Clothes Were FREE I Wouldn’t Go Back!» My son attends a charter school in East Orange. For years, we had to go to Shop Uniformity in Newark for their official uniforms. That was a total nightmare. When they closed down that location and sent all the school uniforms to Wee Bee Kids, I thought it would be a change for the better, especially in terms of service. Wow, was I wrong. Last year(August) was the first year I went to Wee Bee Kids to get uniforms. The location is terrible: right in the middle of downtown Newark. Good luck finding decent parking. The store now provides the official uniforms for every single charter, parochial, private, public school in and around Essex county.(At least it seems that way). The store is crammed, disorganized, and chaotic. What should take 15 minutes takes over an hour. And for all of that, the quality of the clothes is cheap crap, mediocre at best. The store is understaffed and what little staff they have are not trained. It seems as if they expect to cater to a ghetto community with no expectation of service. In a day when we are already struggling with education standards, why would we patronize a store named«WEEBEE» Kids?! Shouldn’t it be «We ARE Kids»? If you try calling their number to at least get store hours, you’ll be disappointed. And of course, there is no website. I vowed NEVER to go back to that store. Instead, I go to the department stores(Sears, JCPenny, etc.) for his uniforms. Who cares about a stupid patch with the school name?! Wee Bee Kids? You Bee Wrong.
