Abby’s Pizza

Horrible service. I placed an order over the phone and they acted like they never spoke to me. Then I had to wait an extra 15 minutes. The price was higher than what I was told over the phone and the manager refused to do anything about it.

I just moved from Texas and I thought I was going to miss Papa Johns until now. Hands down best pizza I’ve had in a long while. So happy!

This has been the only place for pizza (by choice!) since I was a kid so I love coming back to visit. Their pizza has not changed and their ranch is not to be ignored. There is something magically delicious about their ranch dressing… I cannot get enough! Their pizza has the perfect crust (not too thick and not too thin) with generous portions of toppings. The Abby’s Special and Taco Salad pizzas are amazing creations in addition to my personal longtime favorite, the Hawaiian. The only reason they don’t get ⁵⁄₅ stars is because of how long it takes to get your delicious pizza. Other than the wait, which is well worth it, I love Abby’s Pizza and will continue to stop by this local tradition every time I visit home. Yum!!!

We called ahead to get our pizza for carry out as we were traveling to Lincoln City. The pizza took quite a bit longer than they said it would but whatevs — we are on vacation. Once we got the pizza, we were glad we waited. It was absolutely delicious. They do not skimp on toppings and even though they are a little on the higher end of pricing for pizza, it felt like it was worth it due to the quality of ingredients.
The crust was a delicious crispy crust, just like we like it.
We would totally stop again if we are ever in the area.

Good pizza, but slow service and wait time on your pizza can exceed 30 minutes. The salad bar is barren a lot of the time too. They need to higher more people and keep things fresh.

The pizza is good. All of their pizzas come loaded with tons of toppings and they never go cheap on anything. The crust is crispy and the sauce is average. The only really disappointing thing about this location is the fact that this is not a «corporate store». That means that they have a reduced menu. Some of the best items are not available at this location. Forget the SPUDS because they don’t sell them.

Great variety of pizzas. Salad bar available. This place can be busy, so you might wait a bit after you order. Also, seating may be a bit tight for some.
The dough is made fresh, daily. Gluten free pizzas are available. Soft drinks, ciders & tap beers are offered.

This is the best pizza in Newberg. I love the thin crust style and this fits the bill.
The salad bar is ok but could have a few more items and could be stocked better.

Really inconsistent service. We’ve been back and gotten great and fast service. We’ve called in and gotten super rude service. The last time we called in, the girl who answered the phone was very distracted and I had to ask questions like «can I pay?» and «Is that all?» I don’t understand why the owner wouldn’t train their staff on customer service and hold them accountable.

Very sadly service was terrible on my last visit. No customers but salad bar was dirty and many items empty, 5 employees doing nothing, they need Scott and Jasmine back, they were excellent manages but sadly are now gone.

I’m a pizza fanatic and have been to many many pizza places. I like to give places chances, but the Unilocal reviews on Abby’s pizza are right. I ordered delivery and it took an hour to arrive although it’s down the street. My pizza is luke warm. There’s no sauce. They forgot my ranch. The girl on the phone was cold and unwelcoming. And it’s smothered in fake tasting cheese… My vegetables including, I can’t even taste the jalapeños or pineapples through the thick cheese. I’m grossed out to say the least. And disappointed.

Best pizza around! When visiting from out of state, we always made a trip to Abby’s in Newberg, very best!

Once again the girl who answers the phone is a smart ass! Absolutely so unprofessional makes me not want to get pizza from there because she’s so rude. 4÷15÷15

I’ve had good pizzas and bad pizzas at Abbys. That is my problem with them. Their quality is very inconsistent. They are the best pizza in the Newberg Dundee area… even on a bad day… which to me isn’t saying much. Delivery people are super nice and deliveries are usually within the time stated when I place my order. If you are really craving pizza, then this is ok… but don’t expect too much. (One time I ordered a pizza with red pepper flakes, and the pizza was covered with them instead of just sprinkled on like normal. I was not able to eat that pizza and I never ordered it that way again)

Went for a birthday party and the place had a great atmosphere and the pizza was excellent. Don’t expect table service or plates. It’s basically a take out with tables. Well recommended. We will be back despite the 25 minute drive.

Pizza is good. Probably the best in Newberg in my opinion. But the service is shoddy. It takes FOREVER to get a pizza delivered. On average 45 minutes to an hour and that is crazy for such a small town. The pizza’s are pricey but they do taste fresh. We have only eaten there once. Kinda dark and drab but I do like the cool fireplace in the middle of the dining room.

Best Gluten Free pizzas. I love the Garlic Chicken with light white sauce. But before you bite into it make sure you receive the sauce you ordered.
Ordering delivery? Go pick it up if you can or you do not know when it will arrive. After we felt like our delivery was taking quite a long time we called and were told the driver just left. .The person on the phone was pretty abrupt and rude when we inquired about our pizza… Another 45 minutes before we got our pizza. It was pretty floppy and barely warm.
The interior needs help. It just looks dirty all the time. The chairs are sticky and I hate touching them so I can sit down. The condiments containers are usually not very clean either
This is the place to go for any kid’s birthday party or school game celebration. Many times we have seen half of the place reserved for parties. Avoid if you can during those times. It is quite loud. We only go during off hours.

Been better. Eat here often. Today all salad dishes were being washed. Chicken on taco pizza tasted strange. Need to improve overall cleanliness. Salad bar needs restocking. Disappointed today. :(

Since Ye Olde fell off the rails in the 90’s, Abby’s became the #1 pizza spot and is still the champ. The sides and toppings are excellent, the décor is comfortable and nostalgic, the customer service is great and personal. I’ll always stop by when i’m in town.

First time there & honestly, it made me love Little Ceasars even more.
