I love their sandwiches. They are made to order. They are a little expensive and they charge you for extra sides if they aren’t on the sandwich already. Other than it being expensive, they have so many options to choose from and the sandwiches are delicious! They also deliver for a small charge.

Good customer service. But sandwhich didn’t have much on it. Pogys doesn’t like to use their veggies. 1 slice of meat is all I got on mine. Maybe I’ll give them 1 more shot tho just because they are local

First thing’s first. I ordered a ham and turkey hoagie and it was very, very delicious. Everything was fresh and flavorful and they were very fast. Not freaky fast, but definitely regular fast. I will echo the sentiment of others, they are a little on the spendy side. You’ll spend maybe $ 2 more for a 6 inch sub than you would at Subway. But, if you’re like me and getting tired of Subway and all of their breads and sandwiches that taste so much the same, it’s a good change up. I was slightly offended at the $.50 refill charge, even just to top off my half full drink before I headed out the door. I was into it for about $ 8 for a half sandwich, chips, and a drink. I am trying to think of the last time I went to a restaurant that had a drink refill charge. Also this place is kind of hard to find, not their fault though. Once you do find it, it’s nice. Very clean and good seating. Overall, 3 out of 5 decorative toothpicks, would definitely try again.

I absolutely love this place! The staff first of all are so friendly. The food is fresh and all tastes so good and the bread is always fresh. I typically get a basic turkey sandwich but when I want a real treat I fo for a «Pogy». It has all the meat and cheese on it! It’s quite the sandwich!

They get a 4 star only because of their prices. They trend toward the more expensive hoagie in town. BUT they are also the best hoagie in town. Great bread. They deliver, if you can figure out their delivery times and prices.

This sub shop is a gem! Last Spring our high school choir participated in the State Choral competition at George Fox University. On a slim budget, Pogy’s supplied subs, chips, and cookies to 85+ high school students and chaperones. Each was made to order with fresh ingredients. The white bread was absolutely delicious! And, they were ready, labeled and boxed for pick up before we arrived. Great product. Affordable price. Lovely people. A winner!

Love the local little guy(gal) doing a great job at something they love. Good food. Had the Philly Cheesteak sandwich with a side of macaroni salad.

Great deal. Order the Hot Hoagies. I live in southern California and come up to Newberg to visit my mom every few months. We always stop by to order at Pogy’s. Never had a bad experience, and we’re pretty picky eaters. Way better than Subway – more options and much tastier. Give it a try!

I love the taste of these sandwiches. I love to come here when I go thru newberg. I will agree though the customer service is terrible and my mom had a bad experience with them. A tip for them is to update the inside and keep it about the food and not religion.

Way better than Subway or some other local sandwich shops! I find that the sandwiches always taste better with pickles. Pogy’s also delivers, which is good for meetings and parties.

New to the area and we were given a menu by the Welcome Wagon lady. It was expensive and tasteless, not the experience I have had with Pogy’s before. skip it.

OK so we eat down in Newberg/Dundee area and often we don’t have the time to go sit down and eat before heading back to work. So Pogy’s comes to the rescue. Good bread, good sandwich combination ideas on the menu, even the homemade potato salad is good. It is certainly better than the national chain shops, that have me so tired of subs. So if you need a quick bite go for it.
