The place appeared small but what a pleasant surprise once inside. Tastefully decorated, clean and airy. My husband tried the Brown sugar latte which he enjoyed. I went for the classic French roast Costa Rica coffee which was just okay we had the Veggie delight bagel(Tofu cream cheese, tomatoes and sprouts) and Semi healthy bagel(I think) with hummus, cucumber and sprouts. We found it fresh but lacking in taste. Overall I’m happy we tried it! And we will go back to try a another Latte. We are happy to support the revitalization of the beautiful waterfront City of Newburgh!

I had one of the best lattes of my life at this place. The coffee is just very well-done. And they were able to steam my nut milk perfectly, which is such a hard thing to do. The ambiance is great too. Newburgh rules and this spot is one of the reasons why. I want to go back and drink a coffee from here every day.

I enjoy going to 2 Alices. They have good latte’s and ice coffee. I enjoy the chicken salad on a plain bagel and the people there are always nice to talk to. It is a friendly place to just go in and hang out and just chill. If you are in the city it is a good place to visit.

I consider myself a recovering hipster, so I boycott places like 2 Alices on principle. But it gets three stars because it opens early and the prices are not outrageous. There.

Cappuccino I had ordered was lackluster and way too much foam, I didn’t think there was coffee to drink in the cup to go. It must be the sign of the times for service in a lot of places to subpar this place included. A place trying to be Brooklyn hipster, something a-miss here. Quality and quantity forgone…

Best coffee in Newburgh area! You’ll pay around the same as you would at Starbucks but all of the drinks are great!

This café is a great place to relax and enjoy a tasty coffee beverage or cold drink. They have excellent pastries and light food as well. The seating is good, but could be more comfortable. Ample street parking is available. The staff are super friendly, but be sure to know what you want before you get to the front of the line. Decent prices and good service makes this place A+ in my book, so be sure to stop in and give it a try.

Very good cappuccino, a huge chocolate muffin, and very pleasant service behind the counter will make me want to come back next time I’m in the area. Plenty of tables to hang out at, read the paper, or listen to the 60’s motown music playing on the system. The brick interior coupled with the area your in just went together very well. Very relaxing and there was plenty of customers to suggest this place has got it going on and people know about it.

I just returned to Newburgh for the year to do some work and I was so glad to find Alice’s on one of my first mornings. Good coffee, good food, a great atmosphere — and wonderful staff. Thanks for a traditional, inexpensive Macchiato and a good bagel. Definitely going to be one of my favorite spots for a morning coffee or an afternoon pick-me-up.

I’m giving this café five stars hands down! It has a great atmosphere and the staff was wonderful. It has a chic industrial feel consisting of exposed brick and wooden beams. There is a lot of spacious seating, so you’re not confined to your space like you would be at a larger chain café such as Starbucks of Dunkin. I ordered the macaroni&cheese with salsa… OUTOFTHISWORLD! Take my word for it and try it! I will definitely be returning soon.

Great breakfast place on Broadway. Coffee was really good! I got a bagel, and a very good soup. The service was quick and friendly. I loved the exposed brick and comfortable seating area. You can sit at a table or relax on one of the couches. My boyfriend got the quiche. If you’re hungry get two, they are small. Looking forward to going back

I love eating there! Food is DELICIOUS! Been there(at least) several times, and always get the semi-healthy sandwich on a croissant and a little pot of green tea. The workers are so full of love and really do care about everyone. Geeee, what more can I say?

Great place to hang out with friends or family. I ordered a café au lair with a chocolate chip cookie. Cookie was definitely homemade as it was delish! I think it can appeal to any college student as well as there is ample room to work on your laptop. Great customer service and comfortable seating available!

Yah! I love the 2 Alices Coffee Lounge in Cornwall and I now love the one in Newburgh. I’m so happy that its helping to clean up Broadway. I felt very safe there. It’s even bigger than the spot in Cornwall and I think it has all of the same delicious menu items.

I chose 2 Alices on Broadway for my mid-afternoon coffee fix. From the abandoned storefront next door and the dudes hanging out across the street, I would guess that the owner of this place is an urban pioneer who sees great potential in the city. I loved the exposed brick interior and the spacious seating area. The drip coffee was excellent as was the pastry I had. According to the artfully drawn chalkboard writing-a must for a bohemian coffee shop-2 Alice’s also serves bagels, soup, and mac & cheese. Great example of a bohemian coffee shop signifying good things to come for Newburgh.

Maybe they were having a bad day. Or maybe a house fell on their sister but I could have done without the rude staff. Taking a pass on this place from now on.

2 Alice’s of Newburg has some serious swag. The décor of white walls, exposed brick, and pictures of Manhattan and NY combine to provide a great atmosphere. If you find yourself in the burg and in need of a little escape, Alice’s is your spot. Note: the quiches are good, but small. So if you have a big appetite you should order two.

After asking for a surprise latte, of course, I made myself comfortable at one of the many tables — all of which include outlets. Free wifi, baked goods, casual atmosphere. After receiving my latte(raspberry mocha) the barista assured me that if I didn’t like it he’d be happy to remake. It was delicious. I will be returning soon.
