Amazing people. Nick is fabulous. They did my wedding gown and what a fabulous job. They had to hem my dress, and the outer layer is lace. The edge is scalloped and you could not tell it was hemmed at all. My fiancé had his morning suit tailored here. Beautiful job. I highly recommend this shop to everyone for everything. Nick was even in on a surprise bridal shower my boss threw for me… Such a wonderful human being.

I have been going here for years. They took my junior prom dress I. For me from a size 12 to a size 4 and made it look wonderful. I have also brought them many dresses over the years and they still do a great job. The prices are reasonable. I will be getting married in Oct and plan on bringing them my wedding gown to alter. I highly recommend them.

Nick did an AMAZING job on my grandmother’s wedding dress that I wore for my wedding. He is very professional, has a good team of workers, and is very quick. I didn’t have much time for him to work on my dress but he said time was no issue. I had a great experience and would recommend Broadway Tailors to anyone.

The owner Nick is very warm and responsive to the needs of his clients. He tailored my wedding dress and I was very happy with his work. He did the job quickly and effectively, and made sure to do a fitting before finishing up the fine stitching. His price was very reasonable as well. You can trust that he will do a good job.

Just can’t say enough great things about them – called from out of town with a huge and unusual repair job, and Nick turned it around quickly and beautifully. And could not have been more pleasant or cheerful. Highly recommended.

1) I stopped in to get measurements taken for a suit. Nick, the owner, measured me for free and gave me some great advice on getting the right fit. 2) I came back to get some uniform tailoring done and they did a great job bringing in the waist a little and making the seat/legs less baggy. The price was very reasonable as well.

A very good tailor. I have used them for a ton of items from winter coats to blue jeans… for simple items like hemming or a total reconstruction of my favorite dress that I still wanted to wear after losing 50 pounds… it was perfect. The prices are very fair as well.

A great tailor located in the generally scary city of Newburgh. I found this place when I needed a bridesmaid’s dress hemmed and the alterations department at David’s Bridal was giving me the run-around. So I picked up the dress and took it over to Broadway Tailors, hoping for the best. Two weeks later, I had the dress and it had been altered to my specifications. They did a great job, and charged me less than David’s Bridal probably would have for the same amount of work. The staff is professional and kind. The shop is small — and smells slightly of cigarette smoke; but don’t worry, your clothes won’t — and anyone expecting a grand sort of tailor with floor-length mirrors and hovering seamstresses won’t find that here. But the quality of the workmanship is good, and that’s all that matters to me. Case in point: on the morning I picked up my dress, the shop owner received a call from a desperate groom. The guy had picked up his tuxedo from the shop the day before. The owner had urged him to try the thing on to make sure that it fit properly, but the guy refused. When he went to get dressed the morning of his wedding, he discovered that the pants were too big. So he called the shop an hour before his wedding in a panic, and the owner told him to come down and that he would fix the tux for him. How nice is that? Broadway Tailors saved that guy’s day, and they can save yours, too.
