This little gem is nestled in the back of Newburgh just minutes from OCC Ihop and Denny’s but the difference is its cozy non-chain feel with 9 tables and a bar, they aren’t as busy as they should be. The prices are great and the menu although simple is hand made and tasty. I had the sausage and egg quesadilla with spicy home fries and my wife had the crunchy French toast with home fries. They were both fresh hot and delicious and the coffees were good and bottomless. Even the staff was friendly.

On the way up to Lake Placid, we opted for Hudson valley charm over a generic rest stop. Nothing says country charm more than Unilocal,so minutes later we were at Café AIM, a little roadside diner in Newburgh. Friendly country service and friendly country prices. The food was great, too. We got ourselves some French toast and a giant omelet(the latter for yours truly). Goods stuff. And nice big coffee mugs for that caffeine fix. Very local and very satisfying.

Sat down for lunch with my mom at this cozy café and we were not disappointed. There is a huge variety on the menu ranging from popular lunch items(wraps, soups, burgers, salads) to home style dishes and daily specials. I got the eggplant veggie wrap which was awesome and tasted the meatballs with sauce – phenomenal. I’m definitely planning to swing by this spot during lunch breaks in the future– quick friendly service with awesome food and great prices!

Place is great. I always get welcomed in with a smile by the woman in front. Waiting time is never really bad, not sure how it gets during lunch hour. I usually get their pepper jack burger, but thought I’d switch it up. I got a hot dog(with 3 toppings) and chips, while my girlfriend got a big salad topped with chicken. Only paid $ 10 for the both of us. Portions are a good bang for your buck. I know lots of places nearby that will just charge you $ 10 for their salad alone. Only problem I have is their business hours. They close pretty early. Other than that, the food is always great and so are their staff.

Had to put this place on the map! The little stand-alone stops off the highway are sometimes surprisingly delicious. And it was! They’ve got a decent breakfast menu – home fries, pancakes, french toasts, eggs, sandwiches etc. The owner came out to say hi to all his return customers, including my cousin. The service was excellent and there was a college basketball game playing on the TV that wasn’t too loud. Overall, very homey comfortable atmosphere and great breakfast food. Hopefully the lunch menu is just as good!
