Rudy and Debrah constantly surprise me with their amazing food. Their Island cuisine is nothing short of delicious and HEALTHY.
They are Moving this spring to 69 Liberty street– so stay in touch– their new location will accommodate more tables and a new revamped menu. But don’t wait! Go have some Akee and Salt-​Fish now!

The curry chicken was absolutely delicious with rice and beans. The best meal I had all week!
Served with plantains that were perfect.

Newburgh, NY
This place just opened this week and it’s really got a lot of potential. Ruddy and Debbie are the owners and they are really sweet. The menu is fairly limited for now, but should be expanding soon. I had the goat with peas and rice and cabbage. The peas and rice in particular were excellent. He cooks them with coconut. I also had some sort of Jamaican juice that was called Stella or something. Ruddy is actually a vegetarian and has plans for a few veggie options soon. The interior is really clean and comfortable. Something I can’t really say for most Jamaican spots around town.
