You might think your in a warm Brooklyn café or pub dining and enjoying a great micro brew. But it doesn’t stop with the hops… The wine menu is wonderful and AFFORDABLE and pairs well with their eclectic food and tapas. You might also enjoy the conversation with the local bar tenders that can recommend other local treats! It’s a new staple!

A small and relaxed place where neighbors and visitors can easily pull in for a great meal or a quick beer. I’ve been here at least a dozen times. There is the requisite falafel plate, which is blander than I’ve had at other places, but the salads, sandwiches and specials are just exactly right. Chef Maggie’s legendary grilled cheese, kale caeser salad, and pickled veggies bring me back regularly. The limited, but carefully selected menu also has seasonal dishes like braised short ribs, grilled eggplant, and sweet potato fingers. It’s a good place to find healthy and tasty options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Friendly crowd, clean and light.

Very nice new brunch spot. We had a frittata, sweet potato and corn beef hash and croque Monsieur, all very delicious. Very friendly and speedy service. Will definitely go back.

Great spot! Great taps and very tasty brunch! Tasty cheese and meats for takeaway too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner is very nice and accommodating. It’s the same folks that own Palate Wine shop down the street. Very glad to see a place like this in the neighborhood

Had lunch and drinks here a few times now with the Fiancée’. It’s a very nice intimate location located across from George Washington’s Headquarters. The food was amazingly good and the drink and wine menu are actually pretty impressive for this small location. If you’re up for that quite, intimate spot to grab some food and drink, I’d highly recommend it.

I’m in Newburgh for a visit and my sister took me to Ms. Fairfax for a late lunch. «Try the grilled cheese sandwich,» she told me. For once I listened to her and I’m so glad I did. I had it with prosciutto and this was the best grilled cheese sandwich of my life. It came on a baguette, with salad and special mustard on the side. Every bite was fantastic. I could’ve eaten another, but that would have been excessive… So we came back the following afternoon and had a repeat performance of the day before. It was just as wonderful as the first time. I’ll be visiting again in the spring and I can’t wait to go back to Ms. Fairfax.

Awesome! Great new neighborhood spot, friendly staff and food that’s amazing, fresh and local. Great beer selection too! Just tried brunch and that was outstanding as well. Two thumbs up all around!
