Glad to see Pizza Chef back open… The food was fantastic and it’s a great friendly place for our Corvette meetings!

We love their subs. They make a great stromboli and hot ham and cheese. We tried the pizza for the first time and was not very impressed. Pizza came out burned and so was the pizza sauce that came with the bread sticks.

The new sriracha bourbon wings are the bomb! These are by far the best wings in the Eville area. I highly recommend them!

Home town food love at its finest. Though under new ownership, the quality of the za has not changed through the years. Family owned and family friendly, this place is a Newburgh institution. Go during the week for lunch buffets or two for one pizza Wednesdays. Everything on the menu is good — don’t forget the breadsticks with the marinara/cheese sauce. I personally like the taco pizza. One of the easiest 5 star reviews to give.

We got a sausage and bacon pizza and it was pretty good. I liked the breadsticks and cheese sauce quite a bit, but my friend is indifferent. They’re good at keeping your drink refilled, but I would recommend coming for dinner and not the lunch buffet

I grew up in Newburgh and my first experience with pizza was either with Pizza Chef or Mazzio’s, but I consider Pizza Chef to be my first love and a place I have to go to when I make the pilgrimage back to Evansville. Getting it in the car and back home without eating it is life’s biggest challenge for me. The crust is thin, just how I like it, and the sauce and toppings are perfect. YUM. You know how you always compare a boyfriend or girlfriend to your first love? I’ve been all over the world trying pizza and have even stretched through Italy twice, but my heart belongs to Pizza Chef.

We usually have our kids parties here. We don’t spend a fortune either last time we had about 12 – 15 people and spent under $ 60 with a tip. I grew up in Newburgh and I remember it always been a real treat. Its fresh, the staff is friendly, and its a comfortable, and laid back atmosphere. I recommend it to anyone.

They make one of the best supreme pizzas that i ever had. On wednesdays, they have a pizza deal where you buy one get other free.

It was 46.00 for two adults and two 9 year olds for the buffet 51.00 after tip. Buffet was pretty bad, definately not from scratch food tasted like precooked frozen out of a bag. The mac and cheese was watery, the green beans tasted like they were straight out of the can with no spices added, only three kinds of pizza to pick from and the pizza had been under the heat lamps for a while. To top it of the waitress was sick with a sore throat and could barely talk. Below average food with high prices.

Tonight my husband and tried the 2 for 1 pizza special(Wednesday nights). We were very disappointed. The crust was obviously frozen and tasted awful. I guess you get what you pay for.

Everyone has their own quintessential pizza joint by which their measure all other pizza. That joint for me is Pizza Chef. Though I may have moved away from the area, every trip back in to town to visit family involves a visit to «the chef.» There’s nothing complex about it. Thin-crust pizza(typically 2-for-1) made the right way, pitcher of beer or coke, maybe a Stromboli if you’re in the mood. You really can’t go wrong. There’s usually some sort of party going on in the back room for a sports team or a birthday, and there will probably be a few regulars in the main room. Grab a booth and just soak it all in. They offer a buffet at lunch popular with the working crowd, but(as is the case with most buffets) the food quality tends to suffer a little bit at the expense of quantity. To really appreciate the pizza, I’d recommend going for dinner and ordering enough to take home for leftovers. Great cold or reheated.
