E-Z 8 Motel

I am not one to write reviews, but I feel this one is important. There were roaches all over the place, in the bathroom, in the beds, on the counters.

This place has quickly gone down the drain since the ‘new’ management arrived. I don’t know what they’re trying to do here, but if their rate wasn’t so cheap, they wouldn’t have business. The air conditioners were broken in both rooms that I stayed in. They didnt even offer me any of my money back or even a apology. (this is the new manager who completely has no customer service skills, nor does she want to) I told them I was taking a nap, so she still insists on knocking on my door and waking me up, then accuses me of stealing the cover to the air conditioner which was never there in the first place (and why the heck would I steal the cover to the air conditioner) then maintainance was trying to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the air conditioner in the other room, when it was clearly blowing out air that was like 80 degrees (yes it was cooler than the outside but cumon) I am going to see if I can dispute the charges with my credit card, then they have all these stupid rules now. like you are not supposed to have guests after 9pm or absolutely no late check outs … the hotel is run with a manager with no feeling and a completely anal retentive rude unfeeling manager. Pierre is super nice, the rest of the staff not bad (except the maintainance) and though I had a good experience before and I cant say that I wont stay here again because of the rate and the aaa discount… but be prepared the motel is sometimes noisy (lots of folks without homes stay here) no offense. but this isnt the classiest place. I’m a Rockefeller on a paupers budget, LOL. The police are always here too. arresting people that arent following the law or are hiding from it. I feel safe sorta with them here, but then it makes me wonder what type of people are staying here. Anyway, the new manager is a witch, the rate is cheap, rooms are very clean, pool and jaquizzi is sparkling clean, but maintainance sucks, theres wierd people staying here and theres rowdy people and its sometimes noisy but you cant expect perfection for the price. So its a toss up. you can have a good experience here or a bad one. just dont ask for a late checkout or plan to have guests after 9pm!
