I went to StorCal for some boxes and found James who helped me with a gnarly packing problem and a great solution. He helped me load the boxes into my car (it wasn’t easy!) with a helpful and friendly attitude.
Then, when I found later that my wallet was missing I called on the off chance that I maybe dropped it in the parking lot there. James was holding it for me… intact. This location should be commended for it’s stellar employee, James Snee. It isn’t everyday that you find a young man with such integrity. A downright nice and honest person works here. I highly recommend them.

Thousand Oaks, CA
Great place and very convenient. I rented a U-​Haul and stored my things here with no problems at all. I chose Oaks Self Storage (now called StorCal) over Hollywood storage because Hollywood is a total scam. James at Oaks Storage went out of his way for me. I needed to move on Saturday, or I would have to pay another months rent, but they didn’t have a 10 foot truck available. I asked him if he could work with me on the rent if I got the truck on Monday. He said yes! He allowed me to wait until Monday to move out without billing me. No way in hell would those hustlers at Hollywood Storage have ever accommodated a customer in this way. Thanks James and Oaks self Storage. Warning: Stay away from Hollywood Storage in Newbury Park.
