One of my favorite coffee places. There are some days when, not living close enough to go every day, I can only imagine how their white chocolate coconut iced coffee(don’t judge until you’ve tried it) would brighten my morning. Also their little kitchen shop is stocked full of high quality, lovely little knick knacks and dinnerware. A+ to the owner – everything here is in great taste. The employees here are always warm and outgoing as well.

A warm and cozy(albeit tiny) café. It’s very simply decorated with a mini store in the back that sells various trinkets. I got the pumpkin chai which was delicious! You also get a nice pink cup cover that you can walk proudly around Newburyport with. :-)

Background is that we are from Seattle and serious coffee aficionados. The coffee is very good; about as good as any we’ve had since we arrived in New England. It has limited seating as it is also a «kitchen store». The interior is nicely done with the brick walls and wood beam rafters. The music is tastefully a low volume. I like the staff, they’re friendly. What totally sets it apart are the homemade baked goods that are the best of any coffee shop we’ve visited, including Seattle. The only exception is the biscotti are mediocre. The con is the small size and on weekends they’re pretty busy so the cramped space does not invite you to sit down and relax. The seats themselves are wood benches and some bar stool type seats. The other thing about this shop and every other coffee shop we’ve been to in this area is the usually pour a single shot versus in Seattle where you universally get a double shot on all drinks. This is definitely a nice coffee shop.

This is our standby place for local coffee. Good fresh coffee with a variety of interesting flavor(today was maple latte). Nice fresh pastry(compare with Starbucks) Today’s choice was pumpkin chocolate bread. In addition, they are very generous, supporting our high school soccer team with a donation today. We appreciate your approach to business and to the community.

My mother and I had an iced Crème Brûlée Latte here. Heaven in my mouth!!! A tad pricey as a large and small came out to over $ 8… But worth it!!! Cute store and friendly staff! We didn’t but any pastries buy they were drool-worthy!

Coffee: Do you like iced coffee? Do you like black coffee? Do you like flavors? Souffles is your answer. The iced coffee has flavored beans so NO added sugar! Other Drinks: If you have a sweet tooth, get the chai iced or hot – If you have a sweet tooth but you want caffeine add a shot of espresso and make it a dirty chai! Kitchen shop: The finds are Souffles are adorable, fun, and inventive! The shop is not like a bed bath and beyond and that’s a good thing. No you may not have a coupon or a discount, but you will be supporting the local shop and doesn’t that make you feel any better? The owner, Gina is a gem and she will help you order anything you are looking for.

I was in Newburyport working when I stumbled upon this place and was really blown away. So many interesting and delicious choices on the menu it took a few minutes to even decide. The owner was helping a new person learn the recipes and you could tell, she wanted everything perfect. I highly recommend this place for the best coffee in town. Way better than bitter Starbucks!

Such a cute place! I visited Newburyport for a mini weekend away and had looked up this place online. The pink cups were what made me walk through the snow all the way from the hotel to this charming store and coffee shop. Absolutely delicious and the owners could not have been nicer or more helpful. Their menu is full of interesting new drinks and the coffee is so smooth and rich. I’ll definitely be back!

They have amazing iced chai(seriously, the best) and coffee! Significantly better than Starbucks. The store is very nice, clean, and the the staff is incredibly friendly! I wish I lived closer to it so I could visit more often.

Dirty Chai? Jeeeze!!! I’m a believer! LOVELYPASTRIES, and for crying out loud, get the not yicky sweet but ohhhh so decadent Raspberry bars! Their coffee is smooth bur robust and with body, without the ick bitterness from Starbucks, and the pastries are luscious and locally made with local ingredients. Take home some granola.

The smell of this place is delicious and inviting… However, once you get past the coffee section of this shop and look at the OXO and other brand items sticker shock will set in. Yes, they do have tons of unique kitchen items but Amazon or Bed Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon would serve your wallet better. If this is being reviewed as a coffee shop I can’t help as I went to Starbucks a block away. If this is being reviewed as a kitchen supply shop then my rating stands.

We ordered both the salted carmel hot chocolate and a coconut-almond latte with skim milk! Both were AMAZING! If you stop by, you must order the salted carmel hot chocolate. You can actually taste the salted carmel and it’s a little thicker then your average hot chocolate. Each sip of the coconut-almond latte was filled with so many flavors. The plain white cups were brightened up with bright pink lids and cute cup sleeves. I’m sure the iced drinks are just as yummy as well. There are so many exciting flavor combinations to choose from! This was the perfect stop to warm me up on a cold day!

I had a wonderful experience at Soufflé’s! These people take their coffee seriously in every aspect, from making sure every drop of syrup is mixed well with your espresso before adding the steamed milk(I got almond, love that they offer it!) I enjoyed the nutella latte and it was honestly something that dreams are made of. I shall definitely be back!

Cute, cute shop! The lady behind the counter was very nice as well. I got the hot apple cider with cinnamon. My friend got the London Fog II(Earl Grey Tea with vanilla syrup and steamed milk). We are passing through town and had to stop at this shop; especially since Soufflés has won awards in the past for its drinks! On a chilly day like today, this was a perfect stop to warm up!

Good coffee — and they serve Almond Milk — score! (There is soy milk available as well) Coffee had a good flavor, also not too weak! Their menu seems quite large for coffee drinks. Flavors and lattes etc. A great local shop to support. There is also comfy seating available in a cozy chic environment. Their store is also very cute — lots of neat kitchen-y things great for gifts. Will definitely be back, great little shop!

Quite unimpressive. Although this cute little shop boasts some interesting kitchen wares and a cozy nook to enjoy a drink, the women working(?) there don’t make you feel too comfortable about being there. Walking in, my husband and I were not greeted or even deemed cause for pause in their conversation. We stood idly at the counter for a minute or two while the ladies wrapped up their high-priority conversation about a mutual friend. My chai was the overly-sweet powdered crap I can buy at any grocery store and my husband said his coffee tasted like it had been made that morning(it was afternoon). The lemon loaf was quite tasty, but not enough to warrant a return trip.

No need to go travel six hours to New York City and stress yourself with finding a parking spot — The famous Frozen Hot Chocolate is here in Newburyport! I think this is the only place in Massachusetts that offers this famous drink. ~Very chocolately and ultra refreshing! This chic café offers a variety of fun coffee drinks; lots of great flavors and blends. The aroma is awakening and sensuous! Service/staff delivers your drink in no time! Even if you are waiting, you can scope around the cool kitchen gadgets they also sell. Among other great looking drinks, it’s going to take some time to try all their fancy concoctions. Next, I’ll need to try the salted caramel hot chocolate. Knocked down a star because my boyfriend’s french vanilla iced coffee was flavorless. Something in that batch may have been watered down. So, I hope they fix that soon. However, it has been said that their iced coffee is actually cheaper than the o’mighty Dunkin’s. Choose wisely! If I’m in the area, I’ll definitely need to stop again, though.
