Cedar Rim Apartments

This is my first grown up apartment since graduating college and it’s been a great experience living here. The staff is friendly. The maintenance service handles requests well. The actual apartments themselves are beautiful. I love being so close to Lake Washington, Bellevue, And Renton. Parking has never been a major problem and you rarely have to walk more than 20 feet to get to your car because of the layout. Lastly I’ll say the apartments look better in person, the wall color is better, the finishing are nice and the neighbors are quiet and good people overall. Would recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

The staff here is efficient friendly and straightforward. I’ve enjoyed living here for the past 8 months. The previous complex I lived at the staff was so incredibly rude and unhelpful. These guys go above and beyond to make sure things are running properly and they are always transparent. The maintenance guy usually gets things fixed the next day and we usually don’t need to ask him to fix it a second time. I can easily pick up packages left at the office, send mail out, and pay rent online. During the application process all the forms were online, they were easy to fill out and it told you if you were still missing documents. Bridgette, Mike, Josh and Ariana are always helpful and greet you with a smile.

I am a single mother with a demanding career, and I’m not usually one to find time to do reviews, but I think anyone interested in renting here should be warned!
I really enjoyed living here for the first few months when Kelly was the manager. But even when she was here, the maintenance man in charge, Michael, was condescending and talked in circles when it came to fixing things he knew nothing about.
When the new manager Bridgette came on board, my bills increased by having random fees tacked on that she couldn’t explain, and headache after headache that I have to address EVERY MONTH. This is very clearly a corporate entity and is run as such. Without the previous manager, this place does not feel like it has a human factor anymore at all. They’ll find every way to squeeze as much money as possible from you. I pay, on average, about $ 300 more per month, for myself and a 4-​year-​old, than my rent… I’m currently in the middle of a BBB complaint that I was asked to file, it has gotten that bad! Save yourself the energy, time and MONEY and look LITERALLY anywhere else.

I was there for almost 2 years. The view of Lake Washington from our balcony was breathtaking.
Got a new job transfer to Northern CA so had to move.
It was quiet (most of time) and really enjoyed living there. Our neighbors in our area of the property were friendly and nice to have a conversation with or just say hi in passing.
Miss this place!

My husband and I lived here for a little over a year and really enjoyed it. The people there are really nice. The maintenance people were very helpful with anything that you needed. the downside to it is that it’s pricey and they charge you for everything like general parking.

This is a fabulous place to live, lots of wildlife and a variety of birds. I have found peace here.

Cedar Rim Apartments is an amazing place to live. We enjoy our very large apartment with its two large decks, a fireplace, the grounds are very clean, the management is very friendly and maintenance is always done right.
The freeway nearby allows easy access to Bellevue or Renton. Easy walking to outdoor recreation make this a great place to call home. Absolutely the best.

I am not a resident at this location, so I cannot speak about the leasing process or living there, but I can share my experience scheduling and receiving a tour of the property.
I received my tour and information from Arianna who was very warm and friendly and available via phone and email for any questions. She took us to a model unit and allowed us plenty of time to look around, take pictures, ask questions, etc. The 2 BR she showed us was not the right fit for us because the attached master bath was veeery small, but the unit was available for a walk-​through, which was nice to be able to see all these things before we committed to a lease.
She was not pushy about signing anything or putting down a deposit, and she even offered us information on comparable apartment complexes in the area if we were interested in taking a look at others, which surprised me since they are competitors, but it was very helpful.
We had a really positive experience at Cedar Rim although it was ultimately not the right space for us. I imagine the view apartments are very beautiful of Lake Washington, but the other apartments would pretty much be just parking lot/​tree views, so the unit you are in will make a difference in quality.

Cedar rim Apartments are awesome. Great staff, awesome units, great view of lake Washington. easy access to 405. Best apartment I found for the price. :)

a horrible experience. the place is loud from the street noise. there is no where for kids to play except the gathering area which is outside and everyone gathers there (everyone) there isn’t a gym or pool or play area for children. the management is awful, neighbors are not friendly. save yourself the grief… look elsewhere. there are so many other places that are nicer and have better facilities and managers with better pricing.
