Not a real deli. We called in first thing in the morning to have a sandwich made. It was 15 min before they opened an the lady said to call back. Called back and she was difficult to deal with, basically letting us feel like a burden. Service here is garbage. Now the sandwich : 1. They don’t have Italian style bread. Not a big deal. 2. They don’t have oil and vinegar. I get it, they have their own«amazing» Italian spread, but how can a deli not carry oil and vinegar? 3. Told us they didn’t have salt and pepper, or oregano. 4. Didn’t want tomatoes, got them anyway, and chopped up, so took some time to get rid of them. 5. They don’t make a Club Sandwich. 6. Paid for extra salami and extra pepperoni. Take a look at the pic. Got a regular amount. But I did get a crapload of lettuce. 7. The lettuce was the center pieces of iceberg, you know the sour and tough part. This place is a joke of a sandwich shop. The owner should be ashamed of our sandwiches and our service. Go to subway or an other generic chain sandwich shop, and you’ll be better off. Pretty sad.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid… the location has moved a few times but maintains its great service and fresh food. If you are someone that enjoys cold cuts you gotta give this spot a try.

I really like their sandwiches here. I’ve had a couple different sandwiches and both have been great. I like the turkey with the chopped pickles and avocado the most. Great place for a quick, tasty lunch.

I go here occasionally for a great sandwich; which are very tasty and satisfying. The only bummer is the price, very expensive for a sandwich shop. That being said I still I go there when my budget allows.

On one particularly hot day in sunny Santa Clarita, I picked up Schoolteacher, and we were wondering where to go for lunch. She suggested this place, and I had recently had another friend suggest that I try the place. So I eagerly accepted her idea. We crossed the blazing parking lot, and entered the threshold of the place with a jingle jingle of the bells hanging over the door. My eyes took a moment to adjust from the extreme brightness outside to the extreme darkness inside. Once that had happened, I looked around the place. Pictures wallpapered the place. Movie stars, TV stars, and local sports teams sponsored by the place. The sports team photos seemed to date back over several decades. As I looked around at the assorted haircuts of the 80’s, I caught a photo of David Hasslehoff sitting on a familiar superpowered, intelligent souped-up Pontiac Trans-Am. Wait… David Hasslehoff was here? Sweet! We approached the counter, and looked at the massive menu board to our left, and the standing specials board. Lunch special… small sandwich, chips, drink…$ 8(ish) We got our drinks, snagged our chips and went to grab a table in the dining room. After setting up the number we had been given, we discussed our days apart, and our days ahead. Some professional Golf game played on the giant TV behind me. Before too long, our sandwiches were placed in front of us. They were quite full. Practically an ‘open faced’ sandwich. It was stuffed wide with meat, cheese and a full on salad’s worth of vegetables stuffed in the middle. I actually had to scrape off some pickles in order to close the sandwich enough to fit it into my mouth. The sandwiches were pretty good! The resulting ‘salad’ that the sandwich left behind was also quite good. It also appears that this place has been sponsoring local sports teams since the late seventies. Which is also pretty cool. Karma good points for this place. Schoolteacher and I came to the same decision, and we both agreed that we should return at some date in the future. We bid adieu to the girl behind the counter, and then left the darkened restaurant, back into the blazing Santa Clarita heat.

Sandwiches are EXPENSIVE! $ 8.50 for a small, $ 10.50 for a medium 6″, and $ 12.50 for a large. They taste great and are quality is there but costs more than your average sandwich shop by far! Give them a try but don’t expect a meal under $ 10.00

Saw this place being reviewed on TV — I’m always in that area and figured I’ll give it a shot since it’s suppose to be that good. I get there and I was a little disappointed. For being how popular this place is it could use a lot of updating. The food is good — but I doubt I’ll be stopping here again. I’m still a little shocked on how I paid $ 27 for 2 subs: 1 large steak &1 small pastrami. I was expecting more for that price I believe all subs should be available to the different sizes. All the more favorable sandwiches are large only. Service was quick and people there are nice but they’re subs are nothing WOW for their prices.

Very close to my job so I go here a few times when ever I get tired of eating anything else. The restaurant itself is not that small nor too big it’s a decent size for groups. Prices aren’t that cheap and the sandwiches are ok. I wouldn’t really come here if it weren’t for how close it is.

Location/Venue: 3.5 stars –Small strip plaza, parking can be tight during rush hour so you might have to park at the neighboring lot but it’s not far at all. –They have a sit down area, which I am open to dining in next time, especially as they have FREE WiFi! Service: 4 stars Friendly staff that works efficiently, I appreciate that! Food: 3 stars I ordered two small sandwiches and it came out to $ 20.17, a bit pricy in my book. Granted, you could easily split a small sandwich between 2 people who aren’t absurdly hungry, but I’ll leave it for you to judge. The ingredients tasted fresh enough. Pros: Diced pickles, nice crunch Good meat-veggie ratio Generous portions Cons: Added avocado, avocado looked overly ripe and had more brown than green coloring, not appetizing Not a fan of their bread(especially the sesame), it’s not hard like Bay Cities bread in SaMo, but still hard enough that I didn’t enjoy the chew. My dining partner enjoyed his Italian cold cut immensely and my turkey sandwich was A-OK. Overall, a decent place. Nothing I’d necessarily be craving all the time but certainly good enough to keep into rotation every now and again.

Decent Rolls. Fresh Hearty Meats. Simple, with a side of delicious Italian dressing. I got to Final Score before the lunch rush. Got my Turkey Sandwich, and sat down in an almost empty room. My turkey roll came out, and I dug in. The cucumber salad on the top is a refreshing topping to a good turkey sandwich. Nothing stood out too much as extraordinary, but I would be wrong to say that this wasn’t a good sandwich. For a $ 8 lunch combo, I got a drink and sandwich and felt satisfied. A solid choice if you’re looking for something simple and quick in the SCV.

You remember the old saying for Carls Jr? If it doesn’t get all over the place it doesn’t belong in your face? Well, this place should have that slogan. I went there and ordered a medium beef, w/peppers and meat sauce and a small italian cold cuts to go. It took just a few minutes for my food to come up and off i went to eat my lunch. I decided to eat the hot one for lunch and put the cold one in the fridge to eat the next day. I tore into the hot sub and while good, it was lacking salt. Once i sprinkled a little on it, the flavor came pouring out of that sandwich. There was a lot of meat and sauce in it, but i could’ve done w/some more peppers. It was super messy and food kept oozing out of the sides, but that was okay w/me…i’d just pick it up w/my fork and stick it directly into my face. It was so good that i licked the plate clean and was glad i didn’t eat it there or i couldn’t have done that. The next day i ate the italian cold cut sub. It was good as well. The bread is fresh and i really liked the pickle, tomato and red onion relish they pile on. Along w/the lettuce, it made the sandwich refreshing. I also enjoyed the italian dressing that is included to pour over the sandwich. As w/the hot sub, this one was dripping condiments and i had to repack them into the bread. It was so good. My only complaint is that of most of you on Unilocal. It is quite a bit expensive. Two sandwiches were almost $ 20. The medium was 7 ½″ long and the small was 6″. Not like i got a couple of ginormous subs. While delicious and the perfect size for a light lunch, the cost will keep me from going more.

Final Score is a little out of the way for me, but a great friend of mine has recommended it so many time. He went here since he was a small boy, and through three location changes. He even refers to it as «my sandwich place.» I was excited after years of it being hyped up to find myself out in the Santa Calrita area with him. We made out way into Final Score and even though it seemed unassuming on the outside, the inside had an awesome sub shop feel, with local high school sports pictures wallpapering the entire facility. Stepping up the counter, I decided on a roast beef dip, as it is a personal favorite sammich of mine. I also got a bag of chips, and a larger than normal water cup(which is always appreciated). I was not at all disappointed to go sit down and have my dip. The bread was nothing special. Nicely toasted but just okay. However the meat shined. warm, shredded to perfection, juicy, and scrumptious. It was still a little red and I know it was fresh grilled to be heated up. The swiss on it was actually quite good too! The dipping au jus was used throughout the the eating process. I can see why this place is a staple for locals. Great sandwiches with a homely feel, I would recommend it to anyone passing by.

If you’ve lived in the SCV for any period of time, you know this sandwich is the best. Roll is ok, meats are fresh, toppings are amazing, and the Italian dressing will have you taking shots of it by the time you find your sandwich gone. Really. It is that good. If I come to find out it was squeezed out of a Wishbone bottle, I’d be sad. After the sadness, I’d go buy Wishbone Italian at the store by the box. I don’t think that’s the case though. The toppings they assemble on every sandwich are great: diced onion, pickle, and tomato. All cut perfectly into tiny pieces that add crunch and taste to every bite. They overload it too which means you can make a salad with the stuff that will inevitably spill off. Add amazing dressing to tiny salad and enjoy. Not a dinner place. If they added anything other than sandwich and chips to the menu, it could be.

Ahhh, I wanted to like this place more but I really couldn’t get over the lack of meat in my $ 8 lunch combo. They said 3oz. go into the 6″ sandwich but either 3oz. isn’t really that much or they totally skimped me. Regardless, I wasn’t too happy. I got the Italian cold cut which wasn’t bad. They serve the sandwich with a side of Italian dressing which gave it nice flavor. The staff is friendly. Overall Not a bad option but a little pricey for what you get. Tip They have wheat bread but you have to request it because they won’t present you with that option.

I love me some Italian sammies. Stopped here after a hike at Whitney Canyon. Super weird location, just in a little strip mall corner, easily missed. So glad we came in. Great meats, and super cool atmosphere. We had a meatball sandwich and a salami. The meatballs are made by hand, in house, and all of their toppings and ingredients are sourced locally and cut and made in house as well. The quality and attention to detail showed, and could be tasted. Super moist meatballs with a great marinara. As others have stated, get a side of italian sauce, as it is magical. The salami was really good, pickles, lettuce, tomatos, all worked together and were perfectly balanced. The walls are lined with school photos of teams from all the sports at the local high school, so depending on where you sit depends on which decade of hairstyles you can laugh at. Awesome. A single big screen is mounted in the corner but was at a reasonable volume and not obtrusive at all. The seating itself is all booths(yes!) and very comfortable. Rolls of paper towels are on each table(way better then napkins). We tried a side of the potato salad and macaroni salad too. I like the macaroni salad, though it was a bit bland, and did not care for the potato salad(no flavor at all). My sister liked the potato salad but did not care for the macaroni, so it was a wash with the sides. But we came the sandwiches and were very very pleased. For sure I will be back.
