Papa John’s Pizza

This place is extremely mediocre. I used to order from here kind of a lot only because they constantly mail/​email me coupons, and their loyalty program isn’t bad. But it’s been awhile since I ordered [despite them still sending decent coupons] and I don’t miss it. Way overpriced, slow delivery, and customer service isn’t exactly great, the employees never really seem friendly or seem to care about you giving them business. The BEST things here are the desserts, the cinnamon knots are to die for. But again, I only order from them if I’m getting a deal. The last time I ordered I used my points to get two free desserts delivered to me, paid only the delivery fee, tax and tip, and I gave the guy only about $ 1 tip just because it took them 40 min just to deliver desserts, they charge me a higher delivery fee than dominos, pizza hut, or round table even though papa johns is the closest, literally a 2 min drive, if that, and when the guy got here he was a total jerk! So yeah, this place is not worth the price, and I don’t miss it.

Placed an online order for delivery never showed up but still charged our card. Called hours later clueless on what happened and attempted to charged us a lot more to so call deliver food. Just terrible a lot better options to these so called pizza operators.

With so many new, fresh pizza choices in our valley I’m surprised places like this are still open. I called Papa John’s because I didn’t want to have to pick up, and my son told me he had it at a friend’s house. $ 40 for a large, small, garlic bread, and small bottle of soda. It was the worst pizza I’d ever tasted. We each had a slice because we were hungry, and I threw out the rest. The crust was chewy, sweet cardboard, the rest of the dough was undercooked, the sauce was bland, and the vegetables did not taste fresh. Peyton Manning, what’s going on?

Pizza. What more do you want?

I had a bad experience here a few years ago but decided to give them another chance. I was in the neighborhood and decided to call in a pizza order. They told me it would take about fifteen minutes, but I arrived there in about five minutes so I waited in my car for five minutes before I walked in.
So I go in, tell them I ordered a pizza on the phone and paid for it. They said it would take about fifteen minutes more. It looked like the owner was training people on a new computer system, so I stood by the side and watched the workers make pizzas. They got me my order in about fifteen minutes, but while I was driving away I opened the box and discovered it wasn’t my pizza!
I promptly drove back and told them of their error. They said my pizza would be coming out any minute. So I waited some more. After waiting another fifteen minutes I asked about my pizza. They said it was nearly ready. Meanwhile, I noticed a pizza just sitting on the top rack. It had been sitting there for about ten minutes prior to my previous inquiry. I asked them if that pizza was mine and they looked confused. Apparently the guy could not find the box with my name on it because it was used to box someone else’s pizza, so he just let it sit there.
The cashier apologized profusely and offered to give me a free pizza on my next visit. She said to make sure I call in using the same phone I gave them. I thought that was very fair. Even though I waited a long time, I was impressed they were quick to make things right.
Fast forward to three weeks later. I decide to try to get my free pizza. They told me they had no record of my previous order and would not give me a free pizza! Oh well, now I remembered why I never come here.

They have some really nice people in there. They made a mistake with our order, I didn’t even notice it. They were honest about it and went above and beyond to rectify it. This location has the sweetest women working the register. I forgot her name! I always try to tip them when I can.

So I ordered online 2 medium, 2 toppings pizza from this place. Went to pick up after 20 minutes and they were ready for pickup. Staff was very nice. However I came back home and found that one of the 2 topping which had chicken in it was completely missing chicken. I found few pieces of chicken but I would say that was nothing compared to what I expected. I complained on their FB page and on their website. The manager called next day and offered 2 medium pizzas for free. Props to that for acknowledging their mistake and correcting it.

Ordered one small pizza and 8pcs BBQ chicken wings cost me $ 28. Included $ 3 tax and $ 3 delivery fee. Honesty it is expensive for a pizza store. But I do like the chicken wings.

We love Papa Johns! It’s a nice change from Little Caesars and they have great carryout specials.

Late delivery, missing several items. Driver used profanity when I told him order was incomplete. It has been over half an hour and he has not yet returned with the remainder of the order.

This PaPa Johns should be closed down the manager talks to customers like they are stupid… I ordered a pizza online and after 1hr and 45 mins the pizza still was not deliver which left them 10 mins before they closed I called and the only solution was for him to cancel the order they he could come up with because he didn’t know where his driver was. This is the second time that this has happened to me from this place… Please don’t order from this PAPA Johns Toppers is better any way!!! Beware of Carlos at this location

The so called acting shift manager Carlos really has a bad attitude and crappy customer service. he took my order and told me 10 minutes. I heard several different times given to customers on the phone from 15 to 30 minutes. An employee was having a conversation with me and Carlos came up to him yelling fold boxes and when the young man didn’t respond right away he yelled again I told you to fold boxes right now. There were Four latino employees making pizzas for about 5 orders just joking around and laughing including Carlos. They drivers come in from a run go straight to oven pull the next order cut the pizza and box it up and deliver it. no washing of hands or gloves what so ever oh and they might try and answer phone too before leaving. after waiting 25 minutes for order of which 10 minutes of it was sitting on rack I left with cold food.

Ordered a half double cheese and a half veggie pizza and could barely find the veggies on the half side of pizza! Really really you couldn’t spare the veggies! Shame on you what a disappointment !!!

I typically do online ordering so I don’t have to repeat myself with a phone person and I wanted to make sure that I got the correct order. This Papa John’s messed up my order and charged me for things that they didn’t deliver on. I called in and told them to remove that charge and instead they offered me a free pizza but I had to call in next time. They told me that they had documented it so that next time I called it would be there for them to see. It wasn’t documented, they lied. Never got a refund for the earlier items that I ordered, and they weren’t willing to work with me so I’m no longer going to be ordering from this Papa John’s ever. Shouldn’t been a surprise considering how poorly this store is reviewed.

Pizza was very cold, and my 3 topping large pizza barely had any toppings!!! I ordered a large with pepperoni, bacon, and jalapenos, the pizza had about 10 jalapenos and barely any of the other toppings!!! Oh, and it tasted like cardboard! I threw it away and will stay away from this place…,.waste of money!

So disgusting if I could give a negative amount for stars I would. This is first off not near by wear I live. I live in Saugus and usually go to the one on the corner of Copper Hill and Seco Cyn (that one is awesome) but since I went to the orthodontist and I was so hungry I decided to order a pizza and take it home for me and my siblings. Well shortly after getting home we all sat down to eat, we opened the box and there was a dead fly on my pizza. And it appeared to have been cooked that way (so disgusting).
I called and they apologized and asked for my address so they could send me a new one as a replacement. I thought well at least that.
Later that evening everyone who had pizza became sick. A coincidence I think not. Horrible-​Horrible-​Horrible! I say just drive to another papa johns and get your pizza there. This one is HORRIBLE!

Yesterday was the first time I tried out papa johns pizza. The pizza itself was not bad. It was better than dominos that’s for sure. We got two medium pizzas one pepperoni and the second one with olives, mushrooms, and bell peppers for $ 19 + tax. With each pizza there is a little garlic dipping sauce (basically butter with garlic) I’m not a fan of the sauce but whatever’s someone out there might be. Haha
I’m not sure if I would go back to this location. The man making the pizza in the back DID NOT HAVE GLOVES ON!!! Omggg! He layered each topping with bare hands! I mean does he go grab his shalong in the restroom and then comes back to make pizza or whaaaa?!
We asked for a lil container of jalapeños. U would think that a pizza place carries premade packed jalapeños right? Well think again cuz this place didn’t. The guy helping us went on a scavenger hunt for what seemed like 10 minutes for some jalapeños and u know what I noticed??? Him dipping his bare hands in the toppings container and removing jalapeños one by one into a little container. So I waited patiently with a disgusted face on. The guy retuned and places a little container with open top of jalapeños in front of me. I looked down at at it and handed it right back! You can have ittttttttttt!!! I don’t need ur 2 cent gross jalapeños sirrrrrr!!! We walked str8 out! Peace out papa
3 stars cuz the pizza wasn’t bad!

First time I’ve ordered Papa Johns the quality was poor called to complain they offered a $ 10.00 credit for my next order but I was so disappointed there will not be a next order, the large pizza was small like a frozen box pizza, salad was mostly ice berg lettuce very disappointing, hot wings so disappointing $ 1.00 a wing and so little .
I thought by the TV commercials they where better than Dominions, little Caesar

I like papa johns when i am drunk
