Chili’s

Their happy hour is so good and the bar service is very friendly –I don’t know what people are complaining about. Every time we do the happy hour we like it — boneless wings, flatbread, etc

Stopped in for a quick burger after a long trip home. I decided to sit at the bar as there were only 3 people there. I ordered an «old timer» cheeseburger with fries and a diet coke.
It seemed like it took a long time to get the burger but finally it was delivered by some guy (the cook?) who didn’t look like he belonged there. I was slightly disappointed as my cheeseburger had no cheese and the side of fries so paltry that you could actually count them. I think there were 11.
I was so starved that I ate everything with no complaints. But I guess my biggest disappointment was with the bartender. «Inattentive» would be too kind of word for her. She never checked on my meal, brought
A check but seemed to constantly disappear.
I could have easily left the restaurant without paying but didn’t. I finally tracked her down to pay my bill and she blew me off mumbling some excuse. All this for a burger!?! Please!
What has happened to Chilis??? It used to be so good.

Seriously do not order to go. Never get an order right and most of the staff are rude. Even with them comping me it doesn’t make up for two lunch breaks wasted here because they can never get an order right.
Never ate inside so cannot comment on that but this is why I hate chain places. Staff seem miserable food is processed. Hope they get replaced with something else. But damn the pork carnitas tacos are good

Good beer specials, good take out, weak hours. It’s Chili’s after all. What else would you expect. Solid experience every time in there.

I’ve been to this location several times, and I’ve gotta be honest, the $ 5 mango margaritas are a reason I go to Chili’s every once in a while, but I’d rather take the trip to the New Britain restaurant where there is actually alcohol in their margaritas. At this location, I actually feel full from drinking before I feel any alcohol (and I can usually feel it by the second drink, but not here). I used to do the 2 for $ 20 menu, but the last couple of times I’ve tried, the chicken no longer resembled real chicken. It’s now more like cubed canned dog food, yuck!

Worst visit ever. We were waiting for around 30 minutes and the waiter never showed up. No one came to at least offer us water. I love chili’s food but i won’t go to this location ever again.

Sloppy service, underwhelming at best.
I’ve been here a few times and each experience was mediocre, but last night was not very good.
It was fairly busy, but it wasn’t clear who was in charge of our table. We started with one male server, but then he vanished. About four or five other servers walked by several times before someone else (maybe 15 minutes later?) finally checked in on us.
We ordered drinks and appetizers. First, we decided on the tableside guacamole. About ten minutes later we were told they were out of avocados. No big deal, we order some nachos and fries. After the nachos come out, a manager swings by and tells us our waiter is new and that they do have guacamole. He makes it himself for us. I said I still wanted the fries, but they never came, even after asking a third time after that.
To top it all off, someone hit my car in the parking lot and fled the scene. This cut our stay short. The only person who made a positive impression here was the manager, and that was for the guac and giving me information about the hit and run. They cooperated with the police too, who ultimately caught the fleeing motorist.
A weird night and I’m not sure I’ll be coming back.

Chili’s has been around for quite awhile we came to this location because my mother in law loves it here. Service is usually pretty quick. Now you can even order drink refills right off a computer screen right at your table. I usually get the fajitas can’t go wrong there. And sometimes I get the burgers which are pretty tasty. Love the Southwest Eggrolls!
The new order and pay thing at the table kinda bothers me. What to do I have a waitress for if I can order and pay right at my table without the help of her/​him? Might as well just have food runners a busers. Since the reason you tip your waiter is for their service? And by using this new system you don’t really need them… go figure… pretty soon a robot will be doing this… Ugh!

I dont have a problem with this place. I used to come here quite a bit when I lived down the street but this is the first time I am reviewing. Great happy hour specials food and drinks included. They have a pay system right on the table, looks like a table you can play games on it and even pay your bill which is nice when you just want to get up and leave after the meal. Sat in the bar area, service was fast and great. No complaints

This one star is based on just the restaurant. The waitress was really nice. We were seated right away and ordered our drinks. After we got our drinks and still going over the menu, we then realized there were like 5 flys just circling our lamp above our heads. We looked around and saw more flys (keep in mind, these are regular big flys not fruit flys). After seeing all these flies we were done. We felt so bad for leaving but we had to. We all lost our appetites. Not sure why there are so many flies in the restaurant (especially during a cold month). Honestly this is the first time I see anything like this in an American restaurant or any restaurant. I can understand if I was eating somewhere in Asia but not in the USA. I had to post this review because that is just unacceptable.

Was at Chili’s yesterday for a business lunch! We received fast service and the wait staff was friendly. Nice quiet area for a small meeting.

Me and my boy friend went to chillis about 3 weeks ago. Sat by the bar order a drink and it was soo nasty! Then 15 min later me smelled a really bad odor at the bar, we told one of the workers there and then the manager and another worker came over and acted like they didn’t know what we was talking about! The smell was soo bad, smelt like hot garbage coming from the kitchen area! I was disgusted! And will never ever go there again!!! It was very unprofessional the staff and manager! He knew that the smell was bad and that we smelt something he was just to embarrassed to admit it! The fact that it took the manager and his back up (another staff) to come over to us really pissed me off! I don’t recommend for anyone to go there!

Had lunch there today with my husband as we waited for our server to take our order we had plenty of time to notice how dirty the place was the windows were filthy our table was sticky, our server came took our oder we got chips and salsa for an appetizer the salsa was like water it didn’t even stick to the chips I asked her for a new cup and she said that’s how it comes pureed I said ok but this is like water she got snippy I said ok thank you forget it. Our food came out it was ok. She gave us the bill we sat there for 15 minutes and watched her sitting in a booth with Co workers we waived at her to get her to come and get our money when she brought our change she threw it on the table and never said thanks she just turned and walked away. When we go out to eat we always treat the servers with respect they are not servant’s we always say please and thank you but I have to say this is the 2^nd chili’s restaurant that’s gone down hill.

Take out review:
I found out you can order take out oniline. and very quickly. It was easy to use, I didn’t need to put in my credit card and they gave you an estimated time of when it would be done. I ordered my usual, quesadilla explotion salad. I got there a couple mintues before and my salad was ready, the guy at the count was very friendly. I’m giving this 5 stars because the online ordering was perfect, the service was perfect and my salad was PERFECT. Everything tasted FRESH. the lettuce, chicken, quesadilla was hot out of the oven. I haven’t had a better tasting salad than this one. They did a perfect job. Chain restaurant… this salad is better than any salad i’ve had at the so called ‘five star restuarants’ Keep it up guys.

TAKE OUT REVIEW:
Done on time. The burger & fried were well received, my margarita chicken was good, the kids meal was good, they forgot the milk, but whatever, the brownie sundae was good.

Never been a big fan of the food menu at Chilli’s. The drink menu here is good.

This chilis used to be the best. Now the employees are caring less and less and the food quality has lower so much. I can’t believe I’m saying this but the one in Waterbury is SOOO MUCH BETTER! The employees are happier and eager as well as the food quality is a whole hell of a lot better! Go if you can!

We went to Chili’s as a convenience option as we were coming out of Laser Quest and were hungry and thirsty.
To be fair, the food at this Chili’s was not too bad. I enjoyed my chicken quesadilla, a bite of someone’s fries, and the guac (though the chips were as brittle as an osteoporotic bone). The star deductions are primarily for service — we didn’t get any utensils until halfway through our entrees and the entrees themselves took long enough to come out that we could have went back to Laser Quest and played another game.

Horrible how they wrap their salsa on to go orders. Food is consistent good quality

Eerily identical to the New Britain Westfarms location. I’m fairly certain there’s a factory somewhere that stamps Chili’s restaurants out of sheet metal and sends the exact copies to various locations about the country…
This one was good. Melissa the bartender took care of me at one of the bar tables today, and she was really nice. I had some work to do, so I stayed for about two hours, but she kept checking up on me periodically to see how I was doing.
The food — you get what you expect. Had a decent bowl of chili, sandwich and fries. The portion of fries was a bit meager, but it’s part of the cheap lunch menu, so it’s hard to complain.
$ 8.71 for the chili, sandwich, fries, and a coffee. That’s a very good deal for a sit-​down lunch, I’d say.
