This place is now CLOSED FOR BUSINESS, the location is now a tailoring shop. {Which is the ONLY reason I’ve given it 1 star — when it was in operation it totally deserved 4.5 stars!}

My wife went here the other day to get eyebrows done. sign on the door said «No men», seemed very homophobic and we don’t give our money to businesses like that. She went there once, never again.

I have never had my brows threaded before, and since Fay is so local to me, I decided to give it a try.
The shop, as others have mentioned, is women-​only, and this is for cultural/​religious reasons so the ignorant people who complain about this can feel free to take their business elsewhere if they can not respect another person’s customs.
I felt very comfortable at the salon and within five minutes my brows were absolutely perfect, with not even a stray hair left behind. This was absolutely worth the $ 10, and the owner is so nice I’ll be happy to go back. It’s been a couple of weeks now and I can already tell my brows are not growing in as quickly as usual — really happy I found this place and this technique!

Don’t go here!!! She completely butchered my right eyebrow, both in size and shape. I had a bad feeling when I noticed the sign in the window that states «Ladies only, no men allowed!» Strange that men aren’t even allowed in the store. She has the windows completely shaded so men can’t even look in. Will not return.

I have to admit that I’ve never had my eyebrows done professionally before. So, needless to say, I was scared, but Fay made me feel at ease! She’s definitely worth the $ 7 ($ 10 after tip) she lists on her website! She threaded my eyebrows very well (didn’t really need to touch up when I came home), quickly (I was in and out in about 15 minutes) and was painless (it felt more like subtle pinches).
Oh, also, I didn’t have to make an appointment to see Fay.

This is from my wife as I have to stop to drop her off here often —
It’s a very nice establishment with impeccable eyebrow shaping. It is privately owned and operated. The woman who runs the place is very friendly and efficient and my wife is generally in and out of there so there is rarely if ever a long wait. She recommends this Salon if you need such work done.
