A friend and I ate here awhile back ago because we had just recently moved to the area so it was convenient. We both got a cheeseburger with French fries and later on that evening we both felt terribly sick. Throwing up and the whole 9 yards. That’s the only thing we ate all day so it’s safe to assume that’s where we got sick from. However they do have extremely friendly people that work there and the convenient store.

Fantastic bbq! And the slaw is every bit as good! Don’t let the gas station fool you, it really good Q!

Not bad, tucked inside a convenient store. The people were friendly and the bbq sandwich hit the spot after a long hike and no food near Linville Falls. Prices were decent and the meal was hearty. Make sure you ask for enough sauce, they tend to be a bit frugal which makes the sandwich a little dry. Generous helpings of bbq pork and fairly tasty slaw, however the bun is cheap so eat it quick or it will fall apart easily. Notice the jackalope hanging near the cash register. They do take American Express
