The Newnan Momma G’s was right on point. They know how to steam the sandwiches properly and had fast service. If you are a Momma G’s fan this location will not disappoint. It is a little slice of Auburn in Newnan.

For months we have passed by what seemed to be a Jewish or, at least, a New York-style deli. Last night we decided that it was time to check out Momma Goldbergs. Well, I haven’t been this disappointed in food in a very long time. But first, when we entered the fast food sub shop, we were greeted by two of the most unhappy looking people in Newnan. The restaurant was dark, there was a dish rag sitting on the floor and there was what seemed to be a fruit fly cloud around the soda machine. The décor was very personal and I couldn’t tell if this was a chain or mom and pop shop. The food was less than appealing. The menu seemed to be a hodgepodge of different sandwiches lacking that Implied true deli feel. One quick funny is that we were only one of two parties in the place and they insisted on calling us by our ticket number — oh and the other party already had their food. Anyway, I decided on a Reuben and my wife a Classic Italian. She was not happy with hers. The Reuben was on toasted rye(no fat was used in this process, seemingly) and the meat(not sure if it was corned beef because there was no marbling) was not even warm. I could go on about the quality, but I think you get the picture. Overall, I would say that if you are in the mood for a Momma Goldbergs sandwich just stop by Walmart and get Sams Choice products instead. It will be a better sandwich and be a heck of a lot cheaper as well.

Stopped by to pick up a sandwich for my mom. I was going to order something for me and my wife too but the lady at the register taking our order acted like we were a huge inconvenience. After we did finally put my moms order in. She ran from behind the counter and greater one of her friends who had walked in with a little puppy. Had she been half as attentive to my wife and I as she was to her friends and puppy that walked in after us, we’d probably visit this place again in the future. Such a bummer too because my mom said she loved her sandwich.

Decent spot for a sub. A little disappointed by the store bought bread and condiments, but the make up with having some Dr. Browns soda. I ordered the Italian(little bambino) which I got as a wrap and it was pretty tasty. Nothing spectacular, but friendly people and clean spot with inexpensive subs.

The food is very inexpensive so it makes it harder to be critical but they could gain a star or two by just being a little more attentive to preparation. I ordered a Ruben. I was impressed when I opened it up with a big mound of corned beef leaking out the side of the sandwich. After eating the first half I picked up the second and there was NO meat on that half just a huge pile of kraut. Overall the kraut was warm, the meat was cold and the un-grilled bread was soggy. Not inclined to give the a second chance.

I thought it was pretty good got the bambino(Italian sandwich). It was good. Sweet tea and frosted brownie were good too. Was a little pricey though.

Sign says wifi available but it’s locked and no one knew the password… not even the manager! Don’t post the sign if customers can’t use it! Don’t plan any working lunches here! Food was average but my time was wasted without ability to connect and update some files!

Lunch special– chicken salad melt, chips and a drink. Good bread, good chicken salad and good iced tea, sweetened of course. Friendly staff. Good quick lunch.

Might just be the worst $ 9 I have ever spent on food. All store bought ingredients. 1 customer on Saturday afternoon makes perfect sense. I am new to the area and have been trying new places. I will not be returning to this one. 1 employee in the parking lot chatting and 2 inside. 1 of them at least was polite.

It is gross. You can make a better sandwich at the house. They use store bought bagged bread and the meat tastes like store bought lunch meat, NOT the kind from the deli either, I’m taking Oscar Meyer. The staff seems nice enough. I guess this is what you can expect from a chain that started in Auburn, Alabama. College kids don’t really have discerning palates I guess. I was very disappointed after seeing so many positive reviews online about this place to have it be so bad. And it is costly, you will pay as much here as you will at Firehouse or Jimmy Johns which are far better sandwich places.

Great sandwiches, and fast service! Always tastes fresh. Also sends out great coupons for a good bargain
