Papa John’s Pizza

Has been great for us. Pizza has been great, delivery has been great. They have only been late once and it was storming like crazy that night and with I excuses they gave as a voucher for a free pizza because they were late.

The pizza was poorly made. Half of the pizza was supposed to have a certain topping and it was mountains up on 3 slices.
The worst part though was the lady at the counter who said it was their policy to not accept any bill over a $ 20 bill. I asked her how I was supposed to pay for me meal and she asked me to go get change from somewhere.
I had to walk next door to get change. Thanks but no thanks. If you don’t want my money next time I’ll bring it somewhere else.

My husband and I have been a fan of Papa John’s for years but my last experience at this location makes me reconsider our loyalty. It wasn’t necessarily the pizza but the service. I ordered a pick up delivery and when I got to the pick up window, I noticed that half of the staff was standing outside the back of the building. The delivery driver looked at me while taking a drag on his cigarette and turned right back to talking. I waited for 10+ minutes before someone finally came to the window and it happened to be the cook making the pizzas. He said the person that would help me would be back after their break. So I waited, and waited. The group continued smoking out back and finally the cook just gave me my order and took my money.
Worst customer service!!!

Sometimes good, sometimes bad.
Their dough goes horribly wrong often and in the same way each time.
It doesnt rise and is just terrible. I’ve gotten 4 pizzas like this total out of about 12.
I remember what happens actually from working at a pizza place, the dough wasn’t cooled properly in storage.
They’re pretty bad at managing their chaos… check out this irony for instance.
They screw up a pizza so my mom goes to get a replacement
Then she has to wait 30 minutes because they didn’t even put the order in
So she gets two free large any way you want it pizza coupons to use whenever right?
Well guess what? We just used them and those pizzas are screwed up too.
Hahahaha.
What should I do? Demand a replacement free pizza?
I don’t care really but now I HAVE to leave a review.
